  1. This season really LOVES ME!

Watched No Game No Life, i love the animation and the visuals, it is just beautiful to look at. The protagonist is awesome, and Shiro, dat loli <3 she is adorable

Then i watched Black Bullet, there is a loli too, Enju, she is so kawaii and her personality is just epic. Love lolis with twintails and red hair <3

And then i watched Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?, i light hearted comedy, i really enjoyed it it was very cute and funny. The animation is beautiful too.

Next was Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to The Animation, it was just hilarious, the protagonist is so funny and perverted lol. I don't mind if it's 15 min. long per episode.

And finally Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara. The first episode was very fast paced witch is actually a good thing, it wasn't 1 second boring, it was entertaining to watch and it is not a normal harem comedy the MC has a special ability so it's uniqe in it's own way.

All in all every of those anime are great especially the first two BB and NGNL because of the awesome lolis. So happy this season (≧▽≦)

  2. It depends if i like the song i will never skip it (i will listen to it for the whole 13/26 episodes etc.)

But if i dont like it i will always skip it.

Like the first OP in Mirai Nikki i always listened to this song it was just awesome. But the second OP i always skipped it because it was really bad imo.

  3. Well i will get hate for the first one but let's do this...

    Sword art Online

Oh my Kami where do i start with this one? This anime was so much hyped that i thought it will be a masterpiece, i love mmorpgs so i thought this show will be great for me but i was wrong.

The fighting scenes were bad, short, and boring.

    The characters were not interesting.

The romance was a joke, i mean why did every girl fall in love with him? Because he was OP? Because he "saved" them? It was nothing better then the logic in Infinite Stratos when Ichika wins vs. a girl in a battle and she falls in love with him.

Asuna seemed like a cool female protagonist at the beginning but suddenly she becomes the "princess that needs to be saved".

The other female characters had so little screen time, no not just the female characters, all characters except Kirito and Asuna had no screen time and no development whatsoever.

Like Klein he is in the first episodes like a few minutes and thats it...

They skipped alot of things with no explanation which leaves you with question marks on your head.

I could write 3 full pages of this anime why it's bad on so many levels. The reasons are almost infinite.

The only good thing in this anime is the animation/visuals, but thats to be expected from an anime that aired in 2012.

    Gantz

I watched this anime from 22:00 to 7:30 in the morning, just to be disappointed with the ending. The ending of the anime filled me with anger and depression.

What i most hated in the show was the protagonist Kei Kurono.

He is one of the worst protagonist's ever, he is in the rankings with Makoto from School Days.

He is a whiny, horny, selfish, pathetic prick. I just can't stand him.

One more problem that the show has is that characters take FOREVER to make a decision about ANYTHING.

I know that the anime want to show us how people can be sick in the head that they only think about themselves, they kill and torture others, but the execution of this and the whole anime was just really bad.

    School Days

Well i really don't need to write much about this one. This anime was a torture to watch.

It gave me nightmares of how bad it was. I couldn't laugh for a week after i watched this anime.

Every character in this show is retarded.

The female characters are so stupid it's unbelievable. I can't write about them because my hate will go insane.

And for the last thing Makoto. This guy... I can't write about him too because i will get a ban on fuwanovel for swearing lol.

  4. I think the anime "K" or "K Project" is underrated.

It has action, super powers, and a little mystery in it. The really good thing in this anime is that there is no "good guys bad guys" like in every anime. All characters have good screen time and are fighting for something. There are a few colors and every color has one king. The Blue one's are like police or military. The Red ones are more like a gang type etc. And they all have awesome characters. When you watch it you are not for either one to "win". Well that's how i felt when i watched it xD Oh there is a protagonist too XD But like i said everyone gets good screen time not just the protagonist so it's really awesome. And the art is beautiful. The world, the buildings, the character design, the colors it's beautiful.

One more anime that i think is underrated is Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko.

It's about a boy who is moving to the city (so original XD) to live with his cousine. But this anime is different from your average slice of life anime. It has a little mystery in it. It's about youth and happines, and the most important thing, it's about believing. It has a message. That's why i like it so much and i think it's really underrated. And in this anime too the art is BEAUTIFUL. It's really beautiful. If you give it a shot don't forget to watch after the anime the OVA which is the 13th episode of the anime.

  5. Hohoho, fellow lolicon from Germany. xD Let's get along well, mate. I see you are already working hard on your JP as well, keep it up. 8D

Yeah let's get along! Yes i am dedicating my free time most on learning Japanese for now (^ ^) Thank you very much! ~~ \(^ ^)/

  6. Mine took a little over 2 years... needed dem kanji and expressions skills besides the normal stuff to actually enjoy a Japanese VN.

Thats nice (^ ^) i thought i will need around 2+ years too to really know and enjoy to read Japanese VN's without any struggle. Because i am slow at learning but i try my best i want to play alot of good VN's without the wait for translations.

  7. There are really alot of good OPs and EDs. Just too many good songs. But there is one for me that is better then all the else. My most favourite song of all time is the ED of To LOVE-Ru Darkness. It literally drives me into another state of mind. Yes this is how good it is, almost too good to be true. It is just so beautiful. I feel so happy everytime i hear it. Maybe it's because i watched alot of Disney movies when i was young, and it reminds me on the Disney songs i guess it's because of the orchestra and the happy feel from the song.

Original song title: Kanon Wakeshima - Foul Play ni Kurari

  8. Of course how fast until you can read a VN depends on many many factors. In my experience, I jumped right away into reading a standard VN after a couple of preparations.

    These preparations include:

    Hiragana and Katakana

Over 100 Basic Kanjis - mostly for the concept of Onyomi-Kunyomi, how a kanji is used in the sentence; how they are combined to form a compound.

Most of "basic" grammar, for this I had bought a book about 150+~ something patterns for basic communications. You're looking to learn sentence order, and interactions between the words. You'd want basic grammar covered including particles, compound particles, adverbs, etc. Look to learn concepts over "specifics" and "exceptions"

Then I went ahead straight into a VN setup with AGTH (now you'd use ITH) coupled with JWpce (a dictionary). I literally would read a sentence for minutes by putting each and every word into the dictionary. Obviously at first this takes a lot of time. But you would notice an improvement in reading speed (as you'd be making sure you get the hiragana/katakana right), the voiced dialogues help a lot in this. Eventually I figured out how the words are parsed, and how to properly use the dictionary.

    Technical details aside,

I had started learning hira/kata, and basic kanji my senior yr. of High school. The next few months after that I started grammar. Then I had a summer without any obligations (no work, no school). That's when I put my time into learning from the VN. I learned words, grammar, spoken dialogues from it. From here, it's all about looking stuff up.

It's all about how much of your free time you're willing to put into learning and execution. If I were to give you an approximate, I'd say it takes one summer amount of time (without work and school) of execution to get going. Once you get started on the system though, you can take that method all the way to advanced japanese (and just supplement with other material).

PS: It took me about a year~ ish to finish my first Japanese VN. All three routes.

Thank you for all the great info! I will try to do the things you mentioned. Ok i will look up to learn concepts over specifics and exceptions. I need to get a dictionary too.

Right now i have a good amount of free time, so i will try my best to spend my free time into learning japanese.

Nice i thought so it will take about 1 - 2 years. Thank you again for all the info (^ ^)/

  9. Yup. Azu-nyan made everything 10 times better.

Watching the movie after everything was over though. I legit cried near the end. And till this date that song they dedicated to Azusa still makes my heart ache (in  a good way)

It was the first time i cried over something that wasn't sad. That's how attached i got to the cast of K-on!

I cried too when i watched it. Damn those feels, this scene... KyoAni really knows how are things done

  10.

Does anyone have suggestions for really sad anime series?

Bring me the best you've got. I want one of those that makes you feel depressed inside and if possible bring you to tears. I mostly prefer ones that make you empathize with the characters, that's the kind of sadness that really puts me on edge.

It doesn't have to be romance (though it's often related to it). I've heard Nana is really good in this department at some point.

But yeah i'd be really grateful if you can make me cry since it's been a while since i've watched something of the sort.

Please check my MAL before suggesting though as I've seen quite a lot of things.

I see you didn't watched Hotarubi no Mori e. Well it's not a series it's a movie but it's sad so you might give it a shot

  11. I hope you liked them lolis! ... And welcome to the forums!

How's that Japanese studying going? I learned through VNs as well.

I like them very much! Thank you!

It's going okay so far just learned the whole hiragana and half of the katakana. Thats nice to hear (^ ^) how long did you needed to learn Japanese to start playing Japanese VN's?
