  1. I'm considering getting it, but for that purpose, I have several questions.

    1. I've heard that it's even gorier than Maggot Baits, but based on the CGs that I found on exhentai. This rumor appears to be a lie. Were people being unnecessarily dramatic about that, or is there something I'm missing?
    2. Does Yuika have H-scenes?

    3. If so, are they as "hard" as Yuna's and Shizuha's?

  2. Here is an example of using VNs to win arguments. The whole Star Wars debate about whether the dark or the light is more powerful, whether the dark is even valid and not just a "perversion". I simply compare the light to health nut super foods that are, in theory, better for you, while I compare the dark to junk food (I'm pretty sure that McDonald's burgers that never rot are considered a "perversion" of normal food). Now, moderator with the avatar of Lord Heydrich, he who lords over Wilhelm Ehrenburg (among others), which one sells more?

  3. I recently encountered something that didn't quite match what I thought I could unlock. Here is an excerpt of the conversation on this wiki: https://ninetail.fandom.com/wiki/VenusBloodFrontier:Choice_List

Poster: It appears if you have over 7 affection and 99 mingle  before corruption you can "awaken" the goddesses and recieve another unit version of them.

Me: How can that be? For Odin, you can just hit 7 points without corruption, but for Thor, without corruption, you would only get 5, and Rigret would only get 4.

Poster: You just need 3 affection and 99 mingle.

Me: For Rigret, I got her to 3 affection points and 99 mingle points, but I only received her extra title. I did not get her Christmas outfit.

    What happened?

  4. FYI, "true end", in other words, the ending that goes to VB Ragnarok, appears to be law, given Norn:

    https://vndb.org/c67536

But with corrupted goddesses, given Heimdall:

    https://vndb.org/c67534

Character ending is probably Odin, given that Vali's father in the original legends was Odin. Here, in the Venus Blood context, female Odin would then have to be the mother with, of course, Loki as the father.

Well admittedly I never play any Elder Scrolls game, and I only know Skyrim through my brother (Apparently it's a very well known VN). What I say about Loki being mellowed is that he started to find some enjoyment in Law's route and that he sort of enjoy his companion, although now that you mention it and I did try to remember perhaps it didn't mellowed much here in that he's still quite pragmatic. As for the corrupted heroine, I would straightly admit that I would prefer to see corrupted goddesses heroine ending in Chaos route and uncorrupted goddesses heroine ending in Law route, if only because it's look more fitting. But if Elder Scrolls also apply like that, perhaps the concept of having corrupted character in Law route is not so uncanny after all.

Also, from a personal perspective, I pretty much always go for the corrupted goddesses. After all, if Dracula (Castlevania) and Rumpelstiltskin (Once Upon a Time) taught us anything, it's that falling in love with the light is dangerous for a creature of darkness. Better to taint that light first before committing to love. And I do mean that literally. Uncorrupted Tyrca's white wings actually hurt my eyes. Her blackened wings are much more pleasing.

  6. I actually do know what you're talking about, but from my understanding, those choices lead to this (NSFW) CG:

From past experience, all sex scenes only have 1 CG set attached to them, so is the difference between the 2 sets that one is shown during the course of the game, while the other one is shown during the ending/epilogue? If so, how can that be, given that True Odin is the final boss (in other words, defeating the final boss should essentially put one in the ending segments, rather than a sex scene during the game)?

  7. If you think that's uncanny, I don't think that you've played an Elder Scrolls game, huh? Furthermore, if I wanted that kind of nonsense redemption story, I'd be playing Disgaea. In both cases, Loki is a pragmatic hero or antihero. In law route, he unites all existence, but of course, Odin helps him deal with any rebel filth who refuses to accept his greatness. In chaos route, he prevents Odin from removing human desire, so that that desire will continue to sustain demonkind. 2 further unlocking questions. First of all, in what scene or ending does this happen? https://exhentai.org/s/223d57af09/1527401-378 Secondly, typically, if you have equal reign and chaos, you should be able to choose your route. However, I got 30 for both but ended up automatically in chaos route.

  8. Yeah, during my chaos runs, I tend to not increase Odin's affections for obvious reasons, but apparently, I have to. I don't see the problem with fallen goddesses in law route. The eternal goddess has slain and annihilated these lands and people because they have neither adhered to the Hegemon of Yggdrasil nor to the Asgardian Empire. Thing is, I don't see how you can get Thor's or Rigret's affection to 7 without corrupting them, as they would not have enough cutscenes to get the points.

In order to unlock berserk medallions, does it matter whether you use berserk level 1 or 2? Also, after you cleared Battle Royale mode, if you load up a save from before you finished Battle Royale mode, does the game still "know" that you cleared it, for the purposes of unlocking berserk medallions? I'd prefer not to do it again, but I just realized how little motivation I have to play without the story to provide said motivation.

    Couple things I'm curious about:

    1) Is the harem option only in the Chaos route or is it an option in Law too?

    2) Seeing as Venus Blood Ragnarok is a sequel, does its story make the Chaos route canon or is it vague about which route is canon?

Harem option (Conqueror's Banquet) is chaos route only. See my above post.

Probably, as only law route has Norn and a positive relationship with Odin.

You need law + chaos to equal 65 to unlock god medallions, and you need law + chaos to equal 90 to unlock tail medallion: https://ninetail.fandom.com/wiki/VenusBloodFrontier:Medallions#5.3_.E7.A5.9E_.28God.29 Mathematically, you would unlock god medallions first... Somehow, I got tail medallions first. How did I defy the laws of mathematics?

  10. Question: Why is Surt's/Sinmara's coffin translated as Le Vateinn, when the characters refer to it as Laegjarn? There is even a generic weapon in the game that is called Laevateinn

In chaos route, I had all goddesses corrupted but not turned into mad deities (finished the run without even seeing those cutscenes) and had affection points at:

    Tyrca 7

    Freya 6

    Thor 8

    Rigret 6

    Fena 11

    Hel 9

    Fenrir 8

    Jorm 7

And did not watch Tentacle Grotto. However, I ended up getting 3 Guard Dogs ending, instead of Conqueror's Banquet... What?

I heard that if you have over 7 affection and 99 mingle  before corruption you can "awaken" the goddesses and recieve another unit version of them, but how can that be? For Odin, you can just hit 7 points without corruption, but for Thor, without corruption, you would only get 5, and Rigret would only get 4.
