Hoshimachi Suisei (星街すいせい) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive. While originally an independent VTuber who eventually was recruited into hololive, she is currently part of "hololive 0th gen" alongside fellow solo debutants: Tokino Sora, Roboco, Sakura Miko and AZKi. Suisei is a modest, multitalented singer and aspiring idol who is among the more level-headed members of hololive, though she also has a childish streak. After her unexpectedly compelling performance as a traitor in a game of Project Winter, she gained a reputation for remorseless sociopathy behind a facade of polite sweetness. No one seems to know how much of the "Psychopath Suisei" persona is real or not, but Suisei herself acknowledges that it is extremely funny and has referred to the incident on multiple occasions. Ayunda Risu (アユンダ・リス) is a female Indonesian Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its Indonesian (ID) branch first generation of VTubers alongside Airani Iofifteen and Moona Hoshinova. Risu has a humorous, high-energy and extremely friendly personality. Risu's interactions with Moona and Iofi, other hololive members and anyone in general, has given her the reputation of being exceedingly sweet, kind and personable. According to herself she can be described as cheerful, clumsy and a crybaby. She currently have 149 000 subscribers

Akai Haato (赤井はあと) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its first generation of VTubers alongside Yozora Mel, Aki Rosenthal, Natsuiro Matsuri, and Shirakami Fubuki. Haato appears to be a classic tsundere who teases her fans by calling them kimo ota (creepy otaku), among other things. However, she does nothing to discourage creepy behaviors, and frequently does weird, creepy things herself; for example, using cropped NSFW fanart for video thumbnails, sniffing her own feet, and decorating her home in Animal Crossing: New Horizons with lewd drawings of herself and Tsunomaki Watame. Though Haato compares her fans to pigs, she seems perfectly content to (metaphorically) splash in the mud right next to them. Her sense of humor is extremely deranged even by hololive's standards. She often publishes short, random clips that make little sense even to Japanese listeners, and has a series of cooking videos in which she commits atrocities such as boiling beef in a mixture of Mentos and cola, or melting marshmallows over sliced ham. When playing video games, Haato has considerably more confidence than actual skill, which usually ends up biting her in the back. She is infamous for her ear-splitting scream, and often releases these screams even when not playing horror games. Fans refer to these brutal screams as "Haato's blessings." She used to greet her viewers with "Oha-rouge", but now prefers to use "Haachama-chama". She currently have 644 000 subscribers

Usada Pekora (兎田ぺこら) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its third generation of VTubers under the name of "hololive Fantasy" (ホロライブファンタジー) alongside Uruha Rushia, Shiranui Flare, Shirogane Noel, and Houshou Marine. Pekora hails from the nation of Pekoland, where she claims she is a member of royalty. While not much is currently known about Pekoland, it is assumed that its denizens are, like Pekora, humans with rabbit-ears and comparatively long lifespans, and that the rabbit-motif apparent in Pekora's fashion and accessories is significant to their culture. According to Pekora, "peko" is the only word in the Pekolandish language. In-line with her claims of a royal upbringing, Pekora's personality can be described as outwardly bratty, haughty, immature and surly, but genuinely playful and friendly. Pekora is infamous for mischief, to the point where other hololive members will instantly become suspicious of any project if they learn that Pekora was involved. While her intended victim is usually Sakura Miko, no one is exempt from her trolling, not even herself. Pekora's fans appropriately display this same kind of attitude and are known to ruthlessly tease her through the chat when the opportunity arises. In spite of everything, Pekora still wants to be recognized as a real idol, but fans mostly think of her as a "comedian" and "crazy rabbit". Pekora has a distinctive laugh (frequently represented in text as "AH↓ HA↑ HA↑ HA↑") somewhat resembling that of an older female aristocrat, and frequently interjects her sentences with the "-peko" suffix, though she has been known to forget this occasionally. She asserts her dominance by shouting "PE↗ KO↘ PE↗ KO↘ PE↗ KO↘". She currently have 808 000 subscribers + she is a memelord

Kureiji Ollie is a female Indonesian Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its Indonesian (ID) branch second generation of VTubers alongside Anya Melfissa and Pavolia Reine. Ollie is extraordinarily hyperactive, affecting even her somewhat apprehensive introduction. Having spent a good minute psyching herself up to appear onscreen, when she finally did, she began to loudly wail and panic. Befitting her status as a zombie, Ollie's limbs occasionally detach from her body; her arm fell off at least twice in the first five minutes of her debut. She seems to be very aware of internet and meme culture, as she frequently used internet slang on her debut stream, like "dope", "dank" and "pog", understanding their meaning and usage. She's also a big fan of memes and hopes her fans make memes out of her. YouTube | VTuber Wiki

Airani Iofifteen (アイラニ・イオフィフティーン) is a female Indonesian Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its Indonesian (ID) branch first generation of VTubers alongside Moona Hoshinova and Ayunda Risu. Iofi is a cute, cheerful and open person, but she is prone to panicking when things don't go in her favour or unexpected event happened on her streams. She has exceptional knowledge of Indonesian customs, slang and regional dialects. Her design also speaks for herself as a skilled artist who is currently majoring in VCD. YouTube | VTuber Wiki

Moona Hoshinova is a female Indonesian Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its Indonesian (ID) branch first generation of VTubers alongside Airani Iofifteen and Ayunda Risu. Moona is a shy girl, which is the opposite of her image of a flat faced college girl. Despite her shy nature, when streaming she speaks in an upbeat tone with a rather unique Indonesian accent. Like Tsunomaki Watame, she loves to bob and weave her head and body around. She worked as a fashion model before showing an interest in joining hololive. She loves to shitpost on Twitter while trying to connect with her fans. YouTube | VTuber Wiki

Kiryu Coco (桐生ココ) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its fourth generation of VTubers alongside Tsunomaki Watame, Tokoyami Towa, Amane Kanata and Himemori Luna. Coco is an outspoken, irreverent individual who often employs crude humor, speech (using "ass" instead of "butt" or "shit" instead of "crap") and swearing, but she isn't as outright lewd as some members like Matsuri. She also enjoys teasing other members and most segments of her morning news show consists of teasing other hololive members over technical difficulties of failings on stream. She often pushes the boundaries of what Vtubers can do on YouTube by using thumbnails of her flipping the bird or her questionable content. Despite that, Coco is probably one of the biggest hearted members of hololive. During a live stream of The Raft with Aqua, Aqua shared her feelings about how difficult the life of a virtual Idol could be and Coco gave some truly kind words of encouragement that nearly brought Aqua to tears. She's also playful and fun-loving. She started the hololive "ARK Addiction" because she wanted them all to play the game together (going as far as to buy Roboco her copy of ARK: Aberration when she discovered that she'd purchased ARK: Extinction instead) and usually comes to the aid of the other players when the experience technical problems. This is further showed by the fact that, unlike the Nijisanji ARK server, which is PvP, Coco's is PvE. She proposed the construction of a 'hololive house' for all the hololive streamers to live together and help take care of each other. Coco loves the Yakuza video game series and streams it often. Her love for Yakuza goes as far that she is called "Kaichou/ 会長" (chairman), which is a title associated with the yakuza and shared by her favorite character, Kazuma Kiryu. She currently have 744 000 subscribers

Natsuiro Matsuri (夏色まつり) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its first generation of VTubers alongside Yozora Mel, Aki Rosenthal, Shirakami Fubuki, and Akai Haato. Matsuri is an energetic, expressive, and chaotic individual who seems to enjoy doing outrageous (and usually lewd) things simply because she can. Some examples include pressuring Minato Aqua into sleeping next to her in a Minecraft stream, posting a suggestive video on Shirakami Fubuki's Twitter of her moaning Fubuki's name, screaming at Hoshikawa Sara to let her drink her pee, and groping other members off-camera (including Hoshimachi Suisei, Shirogane Noel, and Murasaki Shion, among others). However, underneath her naughty and tomboyish exterior, Matsuri is actually a sensitive, emotionally intelligent young girl who can speak frankly and maturely about a variety of topics. She will sometimes host audio only streams right before she goes to sleep or while in the bath and simply talk to her viewers about her life and her inner thoughts. She currently have 608 000 subscribers

Gawr Gura is an English Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its English (EN) branch first generation of Vtubers alongside Ninomae Ina'nis, Takanashi Kiara, Watson Amelia and Mori Calliope. Gura is friendly and readily likeable, and often amuses with foolish antics. She has difficulty telling left from right; once sent the entire hololive EN digging for 20 minutes the wrong direction because she misread a map; often misspells words ("twister" as "tiwster", "salmon" as "salman", "almond milk" as "Ame milk", "iron" as "arm"); once mistook bread for a potato; has trouble remembering her own age; once calculated that 9+10 equals 11; and failed to know the term "simp", which she corrected to "shrimp". However, she is also highly clever, as evidenced by her quick wit and vast knowledge of Shark Facts. When questioned on why she was not "boing boing", she excused it by noting that she was more "hydrodynamic". Her skill with fast-paced rhythm games is exceptional, and she is highly ambitious. Gura is a descendant of the Lost City of Atlantis, who swam to Earth while saying, "It's so boring down there LOLOLOL!" She bought her clothes (and her shark hat) in the human world and she really loves them. In her spare time, she enjoys talking to marine life. She is considered to be the fastest growing Vtuber of all time She currently have 1 040 000 subscribers

Mori Calliope is an English Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its English (EN) branch first generation of Vtubers alongside Ninomae Ina'nis, Takanashi Kiara, Watson Amelia, and Gawr Gura. Calliope is equally excited by both rapping and "reaping". Her favorite weapons include the flail, a medieval weapon made from a spiked metal ball on a chain. Although fluent in English, Calliope often fails to understand current modes of speech, such as the use of contractions or modern slang. She is easily flustered by romance, leading some to call her the "tsundereaper". Her goals and dreams include becoming a great track maker and mixer, collaborating with other VTubers and people, supporting her fellow first gen members, becoming an expert in Japanese, writing and performing an anime or video game opening song, and writing a full album. She currently have 515 000 subscribers

Uruha Rushia (潤羽るしあ) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its third generation of VTubers under the name of "hololive Fantasy" (ホロライブファンタジー) alongside Usada Pekora, Shiranui Flare, Shirogane Noel, and Houshou Marine. Rushia is a soft-spoken, somewhat naive girl who panics easily. While she is usually innocent and kind, she can occasionally become enraged and scream in an uncharacteristically beast-like manner before regaining her composure (for example, while playing Dark Souls or Mario Kart). She is infamous for her extremely poor anger management skills; in addition to screaming, she will often violently smash her fist against her desk. This behavior was previously regarded as breaking character, but it is now mostly considered part of her character. Rushia is sensitive about her breast size, and both fans and other hololive members often tease her for it, to the point that she will flinch whenever she hears someone say "wall" (壁) or "cutting board" (まな板). She also has a humorous "yandere" persona that occasionally surfaces when people start talking too much about other VTubers instead of her. She greets her viewers with Konrushi 「こんるし」 and ends with Otsurushia 「おつるしあ」. She currently have 611 000 subscribers

Watson Amelia is an English Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its English (EN) branch first generation of Vtubers alongside Ninomae Ina'nis, Takanashi Kiara, Mori Calliope, and Gawr Gura. In her debut stream, Amelia began using a British accent, but quickly revealed that it was a cover identity for use in investigations. She primarily uses an American accent. She currently have 483 000 subscribers

Ninomae Ina'nis is an English Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of its English (EN) branch first generation of Vtubers alongside Takanashi Kiara, Watson Amelia, Mori Calliope, and Gawr Gura. Despite her otherworldly appearance, Ina is gentle, peaceful and down-to-earth. She is considerate and kind; Takanashi Kiara relates that when she is down, Ina is always the first to message her. Despite her appearance, Ina'nis claims to be human. Her current appearance and ability to control tentacles are thanks to the strange book she found. She is a very talented artist, she drew Hololive EN’s members present in their introductory video, a few illustrations of herself, the cover of Mori Calliope's Debut EP (DEAD BEATS), and all of Hololive En’s first generation member’s mascots. She currently have 408 000 subscribers

In her debut, Watson Amelia described Kiara as having "Positive attitude and lovely voice". Kiara is described as bird-brained. She it sometimes forgetful and has poor attention span. She prefers video games with fixed goals, such as RPGs, rather than open-world games like Minecraft. Kiara has a particular fondness for Mori Calliope. Kiara, a phoenix who has been continuously reborn, always meets Calliope each time she dies. However, it is not within Calliope's power to keep a phoenix in the Underworld. Kiara is multilingual, speaking English, Japanese, German (native speaker), and "Bird". She has stated that her English is not perfect, and has corrected Mori Calliope's Japanese. However, in direct contrast to this image, Watame often amuses herself by making crazed facial expressions. Her wide-eyed, psychotic smile has become iconic on her channel, even appearing on some of her official merchandise (a double-sided pillow cover). She also bobs and weaves her head and body around, which has become one of her signature gestures that she does especially when singing.
