I can confirm ExtractData works on I/O's .arc files.

I have a different error with I/O. I installed it from the ISO and replaced the files with the English ones from lemnisca, but I'm getting this:
I don't know Japanese so I don't even know how to go about looking up the solution to this.

And I seem to have run into problem 2.
Every time I run the Umineko>VNDS converter, it errors a couple hundred times because it can't find the sounds. Any of them. Help?

Well, I've run into my first problem.
The download for 5-8 isn't working at all- it says
Whoops, looks like something went wrong.Every time I click "Download".

Has anyone here gone all the way through Umineko on Android with VNDS? I'm about to try but I've has bad experiences with VNDS in the past, so if someone could give me a heads-up on what kind of problems I'll run into, that would be appreciated. I'll keep you posted.
Ps. Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this, I'm kinda just preparing to ask for a lot of help lol

Most of my torrents have been prepatched, can I run the patcher on a partially patched version or do I need to find a clean version?
EDIT: Ung, the translation patch needs me to have a disk that I don't have. :/
Is there a full translated torrent somewhere?

hey are any of the other scenes like that? if u skip ahead does it turn back into english?
Just ran into another at the decision during the first berserker battle, and yeah, skipping turns it back to English but I can tell I'm missing stuff.

Where did you get your copy of Fate/Stay Night? Regardless, this is an error with your patch. Try googling "mirror moon fate stay night" to get to the translator's site, and downloading the latest patch. Installation directions will be in the download.
Um.. I googled "Fate/stay nught fuwanovel". Not the best strategy?

Sorry, I don't like making new threads so i'm going to bump this old one.
I'm not very far into this game, I was talking to the council president and a teacher interrupted us, then it gave me a choice to be worried about Sakura or Rin. Picking Sakura made the rest of the scene Japanese.. am I using an old download that's fixed now, or does it need to be fixed still?
Is that scene really important?

The one everyone seemed to be having on the first page, where they couldn't get the game to start using either exe file.
Uh, the problem everyone had on the first page had to do with music. If you mean the problem I was having, then redownload the game.
BTW Are you the same SyberiaWinx that was banned from GameFAQs?

No, I watched that end on Youtube and skipped it with the VNDS debug mode, so I'm fine. Thanks, though.

I still have the Android version, so I'm okay. My sister held a salvaged harddrive magnet to my laptop's harddrive, so it was "manually wiped" or something. I'm working on getting a new HDD.

Well, I just watched the missing scene on Youtube and skipped over it. Apparently the new converter fixes that bug, but there was an accident involving my computer and a magnet.. So I can't reconvert.

Very well could be. Haven't played it, so I don't know what's going into route determination, but VNDS does have some limitations. A few are listed at the bottom of this post.
Do you know how I can get my save off of my phone so I don't lose it?
EDIT: Confirmed, the problem is being caused by VNDS.

Not sure if this changes anything but I'm using VNDS for Android.
EDIT I'm 70% sure it's because of VNDS. :/

Also make sure that you select the choices for Haruka in the common route as well.

I got as far as
Protecting the dog instead of her and then she died, without it giving me another choice. It's not that I got don't understand how the walkthrough works.
I found the edit button, it is cleverly hidden.

I don't know if this is a technical issue or what, but it won't let me get Haruka's good end. I'm using the walkthrough and picking all of the right things, but it just gets me the bad end over and over. Help?

Quick advice regarding anti-viruses (since I assume you're using windows): always do your usual stuff in a non-admin session. Create an admin session you only use to do admin stuff and when you need to install something, run it as an admin. Just not having administrator rights trump down the basic viruses. Of course that won't stop the legion of more elaborated viruses but well, there's never enough protection when you know that your computer is the target of a virus attack every 4 minutes on average...
I know I should do that, but this isn't an expensive computer and I barely have anything on it..
I'll go make a noobuser now, thanks for the advice.

I don't have any antivirus on this computer.. :/
EDIT: It's working now, I guess it was doing something else because I told it to redownload the torrent and that's why the bg.dat wasn't working.

Get utorrent. Its better because you can pick what files you want to download. However, the choice is yours you can always delete it and re-download the torrent again.
Yeah, I did that.. And now it says BG.dat is missing.

I'm using Torch, and it seems pretty limited. I don't seem to be able to choose a specific file. :/
EDIT: Is the PSP version translated anywhere? It would be a lot more convenient for me.

Sorry to make my own thread and bump this one, not sure which I should have done.
My copy of Never7 is telling me that it can't find the file "chara.dat" even though the file is in the never7 directory exactly where it's looking.
Can anyone help?

Illya's my favorite character too, but I'm glad she didn't have a route.
I liked her because they weren't constantly trying to make her relationship with Shirou a sexual thing, like it was with everyone else.
