Not really because both are just charage/moege, and more importantly there's no story relation between those two unlike Utawarerumono. Even if there's some connection between those two, most likely it's just the nod to the previous VN like WA2 did refer the events from WA (And also share the same song). So yeah, you can just immediately jump to To Heart 2 if you want to read it, and so you didn't really need for Shiravune to somehow finally gain motivation to localize To Heart.

    thx

I believe Aquaplus stopped selling all of Leaf's games with the exception of Utawarerumono and the White Album series. So, I don't think there's any way to get them legally, except for buying used copies. Or you can use the alternative method.

Also, according to VNDB, both games you mentioned are still untranslated. The patches for both haven't been released yet.

oh... do you know where i can find them alternatively? you can message me the alternative methods or somehting.....

  3. I recently started watching 16 bit sensation and really had the urge to go and read some of the old leaf vns like shizuku and to heart. I checked vndb and it says that toheart is getting translated but I can't figure how to download the TL. I also can't figure out anywhere that I can download to heart or where to find a english patch for shizuku. Can anyone help me with these problems?

It is against the rules to link pirate sites here. White Album 2 can probably be purchased on Fanza and the patch can be found on Todokanai Translations web site. Check VNDB. If you want the pirated version, you will have to search it yourself.

Then in this case I don't know much, and now that you mention it Saya no Uta is indeed bugged. The other site that has a number of Japanese VNs is OOParts, although unfortunately it's only available for Japanese language and more importantly you need to log in to try the site (You need to pay in order to access the full service from the site if I'm right). Anyway, so far from what I can see the only site that provided well known VNs are only the one that I gave the links to and OOParts, although if you want to search more obscure web browser VNs, then there are several unknown title in VNDB.

PS - There's also Erogames that also provide several VNs, although those VNs are nukige though. You also need to log in to play the game, and apparently you also need to pay if you want to enjoy the full feature.

Thank you for the help. I actually found out about OOparts a couple days ago. I think im outta luck honestly.

In case you can read Russian, there's Ever17 web version in which it's only available in Russian. Other than that, there's Fate Stay Night web version. There's also a site that gather short length VNs such as True Remembrance or Saya no Uta, although there's no configuration and save function on the VNs. I hope that my answer here can be helpful to you.

Yeah ive actually used all of these. I tried using google to translate ever17 but it was terrible. Also that site with saya no uta site doesnt really work. It only works for about 2 minutes.

  7. I found a site that has tsukihime and umineko for web browser but then they removed tsukihime. I was wondering if anyone knew any sites that have visual novels that are made in japan (not visual novels off itch.io or somehting.) I have so far only found the JAST web browser visual novels and the assenhiem project.

There is certainly no official port of Air on the Nintendo DS. It's possible that if you know what your doing with DS hacking and homebrew stuff, there is a way to get it to work, but that's obviously more of an engineering project than any practical way to read Air on the go.

how do i get it to work? i have a hacked 3ds with vnds and homebrew on it.
