However, right now whenever the game is a kirikiri based game, the text hook becomes random numbers/symbols. Those games used to work fine but I suspect this could be due to my switch to Windows 10. I have already set the locale to Japanese. Any help would be appreciated.

For the most part, VNR works fine. However, right now whenever the game is a kirikiri based game, the text hook becomes random numbers/symbols.
