Well from many anime that I watched that have
time loop
always bad when it's end because they can't connect the story ._.
Well I just hope J.C. Staff can make it interesting and understandable for peoples who haven't read the VN :3
But this one gives a good chance for Saya route to appear.
In terms of budget, that is most likely the case. You take the offer that works best for your work, and it seems that JC Staff and WB's was the best. Looks like season 2 also has more budget due to pretty strong sales.
Indeed. If KyoAni made it, I bet they would run out of money before they air it. And if they really put it live it would be risky and has a big chance it would fail.
KyoAni does animation in best quality as they can after all.

Question though! Why didnt they just put all the routes as is but with
time loops
as a way to move from one route to another...keeping all the romance and that.
Higurashi did it and it still made the whole
time loop

1.) Time constraint during broadcast.

FIRST half 10 mins +

something like that.
They have to make a way to adapt the timing while airing it live. Changing story, shrinking gags that were in the VN, summarizing the dialog and etc.
2.) Budget - I read it somewhere in the net(probably from Danny Choo since he has a relation to JC staff) that its not cheap to make one anime episode.
I think one anime per episode estimate cost $50,000 USD or $10,000 USD. Not sure about the actual cost but its between those two price.
They said that they made a way to adaptation LB where they fit things and not spoiling the "Secret of the world". Other Anime production company weren't able to make that possible.
This is what I think why they didn't make it possible to make a perfect romance route.

I wouldn't mind that JC staff would animate it.
It's the director(the one who directed "Kill me Baby") who was directing it.
That guy has no sense of humor as a Director.

Most of these don't have any gameplay whatsoever. They're all great VN's but when someone is asking for something specific the polite thing to do is recommending them something they're asking for not every good VN you know.
But this are the VN I know that would be a good list to start to finish.

Muvluv is probably one of my favourite vns ever.
You really really have to suffer through extra, I know it sucks, but you really do. Unlimited is actually pretty interesting.
Alternative is just AOIDHISGFJAKCGDOCGDIAGCAG OMG
I literally was melachonic and just plain star struck by how amazing it was. I think I couldn't play another vn for weeks because of it lol.
I actually suffered months.
I research every bits of MuvLuv story there is.

and yes H-scene are actually need, specially when you are new to the VN world.
You know that just hearing the word Visual Novel/Eroge, the first thing that comes to our mind that it has H material in it.
For those who are adventurous in their young age, their ego would say "Hehehe. I guess lets try it".
But as one new beginner plays, they would find out that the story set for the VN has character and feelings and thus they would be attracted to the story before they know it.
Lets just say that H-scene are like candy after all the time you spent reading for the VN.

The things that I said above won't work in Nukige genre were youare really after the H materials

I actually recommend MuvLuv to be the last.
You might get bored playing VN after you finish the trilogy.
I suffered 1 month withdrawal after playing the MuvLuv Trilogy.

MuvLuv Extra is actually boring but it brings the last trilogy(MuvLuv Alternative) its true potential.

I would say yes and no. It really depends on the people who expects it.
One example of H-Scene being necessary is that, there will always be curios people(specially VN newbie) who will be looking for nudity. This nudity(H-CG) is like a trap so that people will be driven to play for the H-scene. H-scene is sometimes boring when you go directly to it therefor the player will be force to go to the story to find out more what really leads to that scene(H) not unless the player is aiming for Nukige but still they still be force to go to the story.
I would also say no cause there are people who are already tired of H-scene and highly aimed for the plot because they saw a review or a summary about it saying that this has a great story. Well it depends on the interpretation of the review.
To summarize things or my conclusion to this, it really depends on the human urge to like H-scene or not. We get turned on on it, emotional on it, moved, disgust and etc... and just hope it doesn't get way to serious. If you know what I mean.
