    Sweet Pool Load Game Error/Crashing

    Are you running your computer with Japan system locale?: Yes

    Description of Problem:

    I just went to go load my games save file, and I had this pop up appear. Clicked ok and it closed the game.

    What did you already try?:

    Opened 3 times regularly. Third time I tried using the same trick I used to run Togainu No Chi on Windows 8 [Hover game on task bar, right click window]

    I have also tried running as an administrator. Still nothing. I don't read Japanese so I don't know what this error even says. I don't want to lose my save file or have to restart.
    Did you download your game from Fuwanovel?: Yes.

     

    Edit: I asked a friend of mine to help me translate it and what we got from it was:

    "An error occurred while loading the saved data.

    Edit the game."

    Togainu no Chi Save/Load Issues

    Description of Problem: Cannot save/load or edit anything in config during gameplay. Result of doing so will freeze the game. I will have to go to task manager and force it to end. Right clicking in on thr task bar does nothing, pressing esc while in game does nothing. There is no safe way to exit out of the freeze aside from force shut down of the game.

    Tried following this thread on their forums. http://aarinfantasy.com/forum/f49/t174028-togainu-no-chi-windows.html But nothing I tried worked so I followed a link in that thread to game crashing issues, that didn't work either. I'm at the point where I just want to throw this game out the window. I understand this game was released in 2006 [?] so it wasn't meant to be used on Windows 8 but I have read that a lot of people have fixed this issue and I'm just sitting here like, how?
    I cannot return to my old operating system so that option is out the window. 

    I can play the game but not being able to save, load or edit the config's is just a giant pain in the butt. I have wanted to play this game for a long time and I don't want to just give up on it.

    Does anyone have any ides of fix's that will work?

    DRAMAtical Murder Crash + Restart (SOLVED)

    I've got an issue. I'm an Noiz's route and I'm at the part where your in his mind and need to save him however the game decides to do something similar to crash [but it doesn't exit/close the window] and then it "restarts" the game.

    Dialogue before it does this [if it helps pinpoint where the issue is]

    I have to accept him

    "...!"

    I felt the anxiety and the tension build up at the nape of my neck.

    I... opened my shivering lips to Noiz.

    I reached out to his long tongue and closed my eyes.

    Something lukewarm entered inside my mouth.

    ...Noiz.

    I'll accept you.

    So...

    ...Come back.

    Then it does that thing. The game flashes first and then these show up [in order] I thought I did something at first but now I'm unsure.

    My computer is Windows 8 [64], and yes my Non-Unicode is set to Japanese. I tried looking at other posts but all I could find was people that had the game close on them. I do have CCCP installed as well, and I haven't run into any other problems with fuwanovel's VN's before.

    I tried playing it as an admin [no change]. I made sure my CCCP was up to date as well as run the game with no other programs running. Nothing made a difference. I am to scared to try uninstalling the game and installing again as I don't want to lose my data or restart.

    =/ Hoping this is an easy fix as I don't want to restart the game. good 8+ hours into this already.
