Hey sorry yeah I'm the translator on this topic (for some reason my original account disappeard O_O).

 

Anyway regarding the speed of the translation. As a visual novel it's not that long (perhaps about 38,000 lines - much shorter than some others) and also it does have a ton of slice of life scenes which you can translate extremely quickly provided you're used to translating that sort of stuff. Furthermore it's the summer holidays and I don't have much else to do so I average about 300 lines a day (some days up to 500 etc). I've been doing the project for about 3 weeks now so if you work it out it should be about 17% of the total (in actuality it is closer to 20% due to the fact that on some days I've done 400-500). I can't guarantee it'll continue at such a fast rate as starting in September I'll have more stuff to do as I'll be moving to Japan but it certainly isn't too hard to get 20% done in 3 weeks, especially if you can translate quickly enough and have a lot of free time. Indeed it'd be a lot faster if there was another translator helping me out (well I assume it would anyway) but for now I'm just trying to do the best I can by myself.
