I'm running windows 8.1 in Japanese locale.

Running as admin didn't help.

I have the 2012 Japanese version of Konosora.

You're not the only one. I get this error every time I start up the game. Nothing else shows up, just a black screen. I tried closing it then going to the title screen with keyboard shortcuts, but the error pops up again.

Ok cool. I tried using VNR a few months back and ran into a similar issue. I was afraid my computer just couldn't handle text hookers for some reason

I have Malwarebytes, but it's possible that that's the issue. I just got Chiitrans working with it so I think I'll go with that for now. Thanks for taking the time to respond

Hi,

I'm trying to use ITHVNR to hook the text from Hanahira https://vndb.org/v5244 but am running into some trouble.

When I select the .exe in the process window and click attach nothing happens. From the tutorials I've watched the game should show up in the dropdown next to the console input and there should be a message in the console, but no options or messages are showing up.

Ive tried it a few times and with a few different games, but none of them seem to work.

I'm running Windows 8.1 with Japanese locale.

Has anyone else run into this problem and/or found a solution?
