lil buster ex, cuz i am still hoping

but fo realz, ammagami is the first vn i wanted, dracu riot looks nice, i want stuff that is not already fan translated, why would you like someone to translate a vn again? for instance what is wrong with the g senjo no maou or clannad translation? they are perfectly functional, ask for new stuff not re release of already treanslated stuff just sayin

well i guess if they were put on steam they would get more popularity but i think that is more or less relevant, if someone is ment to read vn's they will eventually find those titles and if they were not then the vn's on steams front page would fly by them without notice

  • 5 months later...

There are a lot of VNs I wish to see getting translated..

1. 11eyes -Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shoujo-

I recently got to see the anime... It's actually not bad at all.. I wish if someone would complete the project..

I wanna see Majikoi A series fan disks getting translated too..

There are a lot of other games. But I really really wish if someone would translate 11eyes -Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shoujo- and other 5pb games that are yet to be translated..

Hi, I am new to this forum but I want to elicit as many opinions as possible about:

WHAT game should be translated?

WHY should it be translated (art, story, etc)

Thanks and I am really looking forward to hearing from you. It is possible that your opinions and advice here could actually lead to the games being translated, so please help out and share your knowledge and opinions!

Many thanks!

h2o footprints of the sand because the story is good(?)

and other games that only translated the main game but didnt translated the fan disc/sequels etc.......... it feels incomplete

however that will never be granted......

I can get behind H2O as it's a beautiful and nostalgic title that is unquestionably worth the attention of every romance fan, just make sure you disregard the fandisk as it completely betrays the original VN. Yui and Hamaji routes should never have seen the light of day in the first place, while the after stories destroy the atmosphere of the original and break the protagonist's character.

If it's even possible to translate it, Dies Irae is probably the only one out there I'd consider important enough for me to put on a list like this.  It's the one VN out there I can say without a doubt will probably make me a better writer if I manage to read it.  As much as I'd like for it to get an English translation I'll probably end up having to learn Japanese for it eventually.  Especially once I reach the conclusion of this project since a future one I have in mind feels somewhat similar to Dies Irae in terms of tone.

Pretty sure we've had this thread already but (not in order):

1) Dies Irae

Seems like a high-ass quality tome of badassery. Sounds great.

2) Maggot Baits

I love me some gross, porny story.

3) Steins; Gate 0 (and the rest of the Science Adventure series)

I really liked the first Steins; Gate, so it's a no brainer that I want this. VITA VERSION LOCALIZED PLEASE

I could've sworn there was more...

edit:

12Riven too, damn shame that Lemnisca TL was absorbed into Sekai Project right before finishing it. Hopefully their progress is not jeopardized.

I second Maggots Baits. Really interested in that title, but I dont want to try to read something like that with just a parser and furigana aids. I think I´d die halfway through.

Also, Migarete Goran, yozora no hoshi wo. Already pre-ordered it but to be able to play it translated would be 100x better. Heterochromia herione! ... KYAAAA~, kawaii!

Also, the rest of the Yosuga no Sora routes. Seriously bugs me that they basically abandoned the project on like 83%. Think someone are still working on it once in a while, but its progressing slower than a snail with a bullet wound trying to go uphill in pouring rain.

Here's my wishlist

1. Subahibi- it's fully translated, but it's been stalled for a while. I hope it actually comes out cause I'd love to play it.

2. Sakura No Uta- another great VN that I want to play, mostly because it was written by the same guy as SubaHibi.

3. Dies Irae- Don't think it'll ever happen, but I can wish.

4. Yosuga No Sora- The TL is moving extremely slow, but I liked the anime and have been waiting for this for a long time.

5. Aiyoku no Eustia- It looks amazing and a TL was started, but it never finished which is unfortunate.

6. Baldr Sky series- same with Aiyoku no Eustia except I've heard this series is one of the best ever.

7. The Tokeijikake no Ley Line series- it looks like a fun VN series that I would like to try out. The first game may be getting TLed right now, but I don't know.

8. ChuSinGura 46+1- it kinda looks like Majikoi except set in the past, which appeals to me quite a bit.

9. Soukou Akki Muramasa- has a really high rating on VNDB and it includes mechs which I like quite a bit.

10. Ore-tachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai- I love romance VNs with a lot of drama to them and this one looks to be one of the best. Still can't believe it was made by the same company who made the Shuffle series.

There may be a few others, but I can't think of them at the moment.

These ones are actually on that beginner's Untranslated reading list (omitting Subahibi since it's hopefully coming soon) so they wouldn't be too late in ones reading experiences regarding that.
