dissapearing topics from ''content i follow''

Recommended Posts

Like the title says, recently topics that i follow have been dissapearing for me.

The topics themself are not removed from the site they are just removed from the ''content i follow'' list.

Which is bugging me to no end, examples of topics that dissapear are:

Shin Koihime Musou Translation Project

http://forums.fuwano...lation-project/

KoiTate - Translation Project

http://forums.fuwano...lation-project/

Experiment: Mentors Program (New to VNs or need help finding/playing games?)

http://forums.fuwano...gplaying-games/

VN Player Mentors Wanted (for Science!)

http://forums.fuwano...ed-for-science/

of these ones i am absolutly sure i never removed them from my follow list, and i readded them when i saw they where removed (and then they dissapeared again), the one below this i am almost sure i never removed it. (then again i clean my list out quite often so it is possible i accidently removed it but it's unlikely.)

hi! I'm new here too

http://forums.fuwano...m-new-here-too/

Now i tried to readd them and that works for a few hours and after that they dissapear again.

Now i dont know if this is supposed to happen or if it is a bug.

I just hope that someone can explain it to me or fix it.

Hope i explained myself well enough. :jinpou:

Didn't Tay say something about ordering some forums alphabetically as well? I'm not quite sure which ones...

Well, that's my centies. Also, in all likelihood this is Tay's fault, not a certain other guy's :P

Ahh, that explains why I'm getting such few notifications these few weeks. Apparently almost all the content i follow got removed from the list. Guess I'll have to add them back  :vinty:

i tried that and they removed themselves within one to two days.

You know that posting the topics themselves would help track down the problem? Or do you expect me to sit down, write a list of all your subscriptions, then check again at an arbitrary later date to see if any of them are missing?

Hope you can do something with this.

I dont mind readding the topics to the content i follow list myself but i dont want them to dissapear again.

If i can do something from my side, just say so.

EDIT: backedited my origional post to reflex the links in this one.

Only in the database really, and the subscriptions are 1 row per topic per user at worst... hardly anything, really.

I put a hard cap on notifications today though, since those have been stacking up like crazy before I did a sweep a bit back.

I sure hope so, otherwise there's a bigger problem at play here.

oke, a adden them to my follow list again.

If they are still there by friday i think it should be fixed, before this they would usually dissapear in one to two days.

So i will check back by friday.

Sorry for forgetting it.

Anyway, problem fixed.

I think this tread can be closed with this.

Or left open in case something like this happens again.
