Good day soldiers! Today I have gathered you all for a very simple purpose! After weeks of evaluation, it is now time for me to assign you to the branch of military we have deemed you worthy for. You will either end up in the Survey Corps, acting as the vanguard to our assaults against the Titans, the Garrison, ensuring the safety of our city walls, and protecting the citizens, or the Military Police, the elite few who guard the King, and government officials.

YOUR DUTY IS TO KILL TITANS AND THREATS TO HUMANITY. FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION.

Assignments are as follow:

Survey Corps

vibrantblade

SuperOreman

Suikashoujo

Kimossab

Stray Cat

Rose

Noah_Crisis

Brensen

Nekomimishinigami

Garrison

Flutterz

Ivangelato

Silverbullet 312

Atorq

Kyrt

Gurluas

Zodai

Military Police

Edumax

Quark

MasterWizard

Katatsumuri

HOW THIS WORKS:

This game will be decided through various dice rolls (slightly similar to D&D). Over the next 2 weeks, 7 scenarios will be presented with various courses of actions to choose from. Your branch will decide what to do and we will see how it affects you through dice rolls. For example, the garrison might be faced with a Titan breaking through the walls. They can choose to fight, evacuate citizens, retreat to a more defensible spot, or flee. Picking one option will affect the next scenario (similar to a choose your own adventure).

What I need from your teams, is within 24 hours, elect a spokesperson that will PM me the choices your branch makes. In this thread, I will record those choices for everyone to see and also post the scenarios. It is highly advisable you all set up group PMs for your teams. Please do not discuss team activities in this thread. This thread is now reserved for questions, and scenarios/results.

SCORING:

Scoring will follow as such. Each scenario for a team will result in a certain amount of points for that team. The Survey Corps will have the highest valued scenarios, but also the highest lose points scenarios/negative impact scenarios. The Garrison will be average, and the Military Police will have very low scoring scenarios/low risk scenarios. Note: What one branch does, can affect another branch very easily. Notice how the Garrison is made up of the top 4 scorers. If all of this doesn't make sense, it will after the first scenario.

The first scenario will begin when I receive PMs from all 3 spokespeople. If you don't see your name in any of the three branches, just let me know, and I will correct that :) If you have questions, feel free to ask. I will be lurking most of the day.

I have arrived.  What seems to be the situation?

Would anyone care to set up the group PM?  I'd nominate either myself or Flutterz as the Garrison representative.  This is something I think I'd be good at, though I'm unsure how often I'll be online for the PM discussions, and Flutterz would be the person I think best suited aside from myself.

Only the Survery Corps have selected a spokesperson. Still waiting for the Garrison and Military Police. Please have a spokesperson ready by 11am Eastern so I have time to explain the first scenario for each group.

Garrison has yet to have a group PM set up at the moment.  I'll give it another ~half hour before I decide to set it up myself if need be.

All branches have reported in and are now able to receive their first missions.

Survey Corps: You have been assigned to scout outside the walls, to the North and judge the feasibility of building a walled outpost outside of the city. There are two ways to get there. Going through the large forest will be slower, but allow you to use your 3D gear if needed. Making straight for the target location will take half the time, but you will all be in the open. You may also ignore your orders. Your decision?

Garrison: We have received reports of a disturbance in the southern districts of the city with an anti-wall faction. Go investigate these reports with haste. Your choices are to investigate at once, investigate slowly, or lie about your investigation.

Military Police: We have an easy escort mission for you today. Some business men are having a conference in the Southern part of the city. Simply escort their carriages to the Auditorium, and begin regular guard duty around the building. Your choices are: follow mission orders to the letter, attempt to hire a portion of the garrison, or ignore mission entirely.

Just confirming, we decide on a group decision yes?

Yesh. Spokesperson PMs me the decision, and I go from there. Please try to decide within 24 hours. 48 is the absolute limit with these, but if we get answers within 24, I can include more scenarios meaning more points.

Before I post the next scenario, a little but on how the dice rolling works. The Survey Corps will roll a normal 6 sided die, with a +5 modifier. So if they roll a 4, then they end with 9. The Garrison will roll an 8 sided die, with a +3 modifier, and the MP will roll a 10 sided die with a +1 modifier. Titans will roll a 10 sided die as well, but the size class will decide the modifier. Certain scenarios will only be shown the the applicable branch. For example, today's Survey Corps scenario would have been private, only seen by them, if they had rolled below what the Titans rolled. Now for the scenarios. (Note, that dice will be rolled based off the choices I get as for what happens.)

Survey Corps: The Survey Corps decide to make straight for their target zone. This does pose a significant risk as Titans would make the troops of the corps a buffet line in an open area. Luckily for the Corps, no Titans seem to appear. However, in the distance, where the forest is, they see numerous Titans making their way into the forest. Three options for the Survey Corps: Continue with the mission. Make a turn for the Titans and investigate their movements. Turn back for the city. (Survey Corps rolls 6, Titans roll 5.) Before deciding, the Survey Corps launches a single flare to warn the city regardless.

Garrison: The Garrison has decided to move with caution to the disturbance. Upon their arrival, they discover a grim situation. A crack has appeared in the wall, but numerous anti-wall movement members are blocking repair crews from repairing the damage. Things are on the verge of turning violent as tempers flare. Three options for the Garrison: Arrest the anti-wall movement members. Evacuate the area as repair crews work. Alert the MP, policing is their job after all.

Military Police: Deep inside the inner walls, the MP escorts the business men and government officials to the auditorium. For the MP, it is simply another day of work. 2 choices: Slack off. Slack off more.
