On topic: We're all reading Liar Game at the moment so if you want to join now that's what you have to read, there's still several weeks left until the deadline so you should be fine. Kendjin Posted February 22, 2015 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Finished Liar Game I might come back and write a lot more on this but for now, a short feelings on it. I liked how it started and the over "games" had a sort of Danganronpa feel, 10 years this has run for and I have to say, it was very solid, sadly having just finished it, I found the manga kind of crashes and burns at the end. Until the last 8 issues, you feel the same things are happening and its exciting, then the final game concludes and they explain actually this was all just a test, I am led to believe they weren't actually gonna sell these people off (or maybe they were and changed their minds, however the feeling is that it was more like reality tv and the people in the masks weren't out to kill anyone. Sadly pace went out the window at the end, it felt a bit like a cop-out, only to end on a: Oh no there is a real big bad, but not in this, because this is the final issue and maybe we will do a sequel, maybe. 8/10 till final 10 issues, then a score lower for the ending Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
