I'm starting to beleive that rumoured remake hype afew years back was just that; rumoured hype. BobJones2 Posted March 4, 2015 Share Posted March 4, 2015 Maybe in 20 years but even then, I doubt it. Nasu already gave us the Epilouge chapter, can't you be satisfied with that? If they were to make a direct sequel then they would have to choose a route from the first game to follow. Being the main route, the Fate route would almost certainly be the one but that might leave some people unsatisfied. This route also have the most room for Shirou to develop and left the option open for another Holy Grail War. However, if Saber is summoned again then it would be bullshit, especially since she's already made peace with herself. Not to mention it would contradict the Epilouge chapter. If she isn't summoned again than they would lose their by far most marketable character. They could also choose to follow a completely new route but that would be bullshit cuz it would cheapen all the things that happened in the first game.
