That might actually screw with the files. 2) Have you tried running the game in compatibility mode with an earlier version of Windows? (I assume you're running Windows). Obviously, "Are you in Japanese Locale," "Are you using Applocale instead of actually being in Japanese Locale," and "Did your Antivirus block files," are all standard questions.
