Shinigami no Testament nodvd patch

http://depositfiles.com/files/jgfspcjc7 Try this.  You use it by pressing the top button in the console that populs up when you activate the tool and going to where you installed the game (make sure you have the search set to find all exe files, not just Siglus or Reallive) and just use it on them.  If this doesn't work, erase the cracked exe and delete the .bak that is stuck on the 'clean' exe beneath it.  This will give you back an unaffected file.

This tool is the first resort when you think you need a nodvd and most aren't working for you.  Some antivirus tools will hit it though.

Ah, one more issue.  Despite the existence of cracks, it is not possible to play any game by this company if the disc isn't in the drive or mounted using something like Daemon Tools at all times.  This is true of all these games.  The nodvd is really just a straight crack that removes the DRM.

Thank for the answer but an error pops up when I select the EXE file:

I also tried with the "normal" nodvd patch for this game but this windows appears:

Honestly I wouldn't mind if I could ply the game with the iso mounted but as you can see even if it is the game still asks me the disc.

Thank you for the answer, normally this game doesn't work on windows 8 but I installed the update from the website of producers, I'll try to install it in a different folder. My system local is in japanese.

Edit: Well the cracker worked but now when I want to start the game this appears, so I deleted the .bak file but it still appears:

hello, Clephas can you help me, um, im using Windows 8.1 and the VN downloaded from NyaaTorrent where i think they already CRACK it, so perhaps Crack from anime-sharing doesnt work with me as it says that CRC code doesn't match the EXE file, i thought that perhaps they already Crack it, but when i've tried to open it, it just popped fast but nothing happen as i try to click it many time still the same, and i try check the Task Manager and there's nothing from Testament means that nothing execute from it, so assume that perhaps because i use windows 8, so can you tell me what i must do? it didn't have BAK.file in it, and just i said perhaps they already CRACK it, i already updated the game and no error but still nothing happen.

DanielJp, I had the exact same problem as you and just confirmed the solution. It's necessary to download the TESTAMENT_UPDATE_101a patch at http://3rdeye.jp/support/support.html which Yuno-Gasai mentions in the first post of the thread. That's the official Windows 8 compatibility patch which also contains all the previous patch's fixes, and it even works for Windows 10 which I'm running.

There's also an issue with the torrent on Nyaa. It has a built-in modified TESTAMENT.exe intended to avoid needing to have the disc in the drive or the disc image mounted (NoDVD). However, when you run the 101a patch to fix that bug you've encountered, it replaces that TESTAMENT.exe with one that no longer bypasses the need for the original disc/disc image, so it's pointless. Furthermore, you may have difficulty running the 101a patched TESTAMENT.exe with the Nyaa torrent's modified disc image mounted, if it's not recognized as the original disc.

I personally chose to install the game from the original Shinigami no Testament disc image which was part of a girlcelly torrent on anime-sharing, and am playing it with that original disc image mounted (after applying the 101a patch, to be clear).
