Confession:  So, all day today... I had this song going through my head. Singing it to myself.   :michiru:

It was embarrassing to try at first, but then it's actually quite cute & catchy. lol

That reminds me of the time my mom used my computer to look up something and I totally forgot that I didn't close out of a erotica website. So she gos and wakes the computer from sleep mode and I'm standing there with a look of horror babbling incoherently about viruses and the like. I try to close out of the website, but than she tells me knock it off and that she wanted to take a look at the website. So I piss off and watch TV in the corner after awhile she gets up and tells me that this other website has better stuff

I sense wincest.

jk, that is kind of awesome.

Speaking of catchy/addictive songs that never leave one's head, I have had this particular one stuck in it for weeks and it's amazing. No escape.

What I would do for a full version/extended version...

Man, I really should finish Gintama one of these days...

Confession: Today I forgot to lock my door, my mom walked in and saw how my desktop icon size was set to large. I feel so embarrassed.

desktopinactiono5q0r.jpg

That's how I always play and totally not faked.

Wow, Majikoi A-1 h-scene and an extra-large Pornhub icon.  Nice twofer.

EDIT: Just noticed what appears to be hentai manga.  You got a threefer.

Pro tip: if you leave your door unlocked, hide or close literally everything, because Murphy's Law is real, and it will fuck you over.

Confession: Whenever I leave my room and I'm not alone, I close literally everything I have open related to VNs, and that includes the VNs themselves, Fuwa, the folders containing the VNs, and any walkthroughs I might have open (I save the webpages to my computer in case out internet goes down.  Which it does, quite frequently >.> )  I'm quite paranoid someone in my family will end up going through my computer at some point and discover the cache of VN h-scenes hidden within.  Luckily nobody in my family can use computers with Windows very well, so I doubt I have much to worry about.  Still gonna be paranoid.

Definitely red soap.

+ i vote for this http://i.imgur.com/hAhYehJ.pngas new fuwaemote.

I have to make it smaller though.

Confession, my uncle is a psychiatrist and strong supporter of ECT.

If I thought of myself to be mentally sound, I would probably support it too.

Confession: When it comes to songs, I don't like extended versions.

Confession2: I've been listening to this nonstop.

Confession3: Sharnoth is the only VN I played with h-scenes, and I can't really call those h-scenes. I patched G-Senjou to remove the H.

My parents have learned that my computer is some kind of holy place that must not be trespassed, so I don't have to worry about leaving anything open or having potentially dangerous folders in my desktop. As long as I don't have anything super nsfw in plain view, I'm fine. Although my dad looks me bit weirdly every time he sees that I have VN open.

You must teach me your ways, Turnip Sensei.

Intended joke is intended...

Even if I could get that sort of system going (which I can't, I'm sure of it without even having attempted it), I'd still have massive panic attacks whenever anyone touched my computer.  Anxiety disorders and sudden stress and shocks don't mix well :sachi:

Yeah, it works as long as no one comes close to my computer, but it's still super awkward in the rare cases when some one wants to borrow my computer. Then it's like: "wait a moment and I close all these definitely not suspicious programs and internet sites."

I played Saya no Uta when I was twelve. Screen facing the hallway, living room computer.

badass_over_here_lol_meme.png

Though I later seriously panicked when I was on a Mac playing Katawa Shoujo with the naked-roommate-except-for-leaf-over-his-willy scene and minimized it when my mom and grandma came in and said they needed to look something up.

Macs still show you little mini versions of what you minimized on the bottom bar. Naked Kenji was sitting at the bottom of the screen the whole time they used it. I pray to this day they were both just blind.

Confession: I was imagining this scene playing out in my mind, and just made laugh. If I had a kid, and saw something like that on his computer, I'd wonder to myself, "what in the world is he playing?" lol.

Here have the second opening.

KURU KURU SHAFFURU~

I think I like the first opening song more, or it might have just grown on me.  :yumiko:

... -pauses after 30sec of repeated kuru kuru shaffuru- ".......AHHHHH!!!"

Confession: My pub trivia group is gradually catching on to my otaku nature. Last week, I wore a Working!! t-shirt and had to explain what it was from. Tonight, a Pokemon category randomly came up, and I was abnormally confident about some of the answers. I like to think I'm not embarrassed or ashamed about my hobbies, but I do seem to avoid talking about this stuff unless I'm only around people with whom I feel really comfortable, and it seems I'm just not there yet with these folks.

Confession: I used to play those crappy old Newgrounds dating sims in elementary school - they were really sort of my gateway to VNs.

Man, there was this Naruto one I stumbled upon with a really poorly-drawn H-scene that I remember quickly closing and freaking out for days that the police were going to come get me for playing a 'bad' game.

Confession: I think I'm a closet-otaku irl. I don't really share my hobbies of gaming, anime and such unless I can sense the person I'm around is open to it or also into it.  Sooo, most of the time, I come off as a boring person because when someone asks me, "oh, what did you do over the weekend?" or w/e.. I always give vague answers like "Just stayed home" / "Nothing" xD and then the conversation dies.    I don't really know how to connect with people.

Yeah, that sounds really familiar. Generally, the approach I take is to not be shy about showing off my appreciation, but also not to start talking about it unless directly asked about it, or unless I'm really comfortable with the person (e.g., I often talk in small amounts about what anime I'm watching with my friends, to fill in a gap in a conversation; they usually seem to find it at least fun to hear about, in small amounts, even if they aren't going to go watch it themselves).

To be clear, I'm generally quite open about displaying it: for example, at work, my computer lock screen and desktop wallpaper are always safe-for-work depictions of anime or VN characters. Given that I'm in an "open office" floorplan (not cubicles - wide open), people see it all the time. Basically nobody ever comments, but... well, I'll just keep hoping that somebody will strike up a conversation about it someday...

Confession: Very few people IRL know that I'm into anime (then again there aren't many people that I even know in the first place, but fewer still know about me being into anime) and nobody knows that I'm into VNs. I don't really talk about it unless I'm asked, and no one asks... though even if they did, I'd probably lie.

Confession: I haven't been home in over a week.

Why? o_O
