...my original idea for the "VNs you want translated" thread was just to have people post which ones they'd like to see translated. No poll or anything.

yeah, well aaeru wanted a poll. +_+

When does the voting period close, or are we doing a rotating kind of vote?

Hack/no hack: Not entirely sure what hacks are used for

Why do you want it to be TLed: It's from the same producers of Steins;gate and Chaos;head, the former of which is undisputed awesomeness, and the second of which had an interesting concept. Although most reviews claim Robotics;Notes was a let down, I think it'd still be an interesting read. It'll likely take a long time before it gets translated though. (Although there's an anime for it that apparently sucks)

Why do you want it to be TLed: The Art is Beautiful and the Soundtrack is Awesome. Also, I've been picking up some reviews that their is a good plot twist so I was Curious.

I voted for Hakuisei Renai Shoukougun. Why? A few reasons...

* If what I'm seeing on VNDB is correct, there never was an NSFW version. I appreciate a story or game that does not consider on-screen sex scenes to be obligatory.

* It seems to be all about girl x girl(s) relationships. Sure, we have an English version some GxG visual novels (including Amaranto and varied Sono Hanabira stories), but it's still a refreshing change. Too many boy x girl(s) stories can be numbing.

* It was made by Kogado Studio. Two of the company's other visual novels -- Symphonic Rain and Gadget Trial -- were translated by fans without any uproar.

* Looks like the main character's story official starts when she's 21. That sounds like a point of difference, especially after too many VNs in which nearly every important character is not yet 20 years old.

I tend to like varied pairings and themes, as well as VNs that include some complex gameplay. If you want, I can mention some untranslated games that have one or both in another post.

Is there already a translation project for this? It was but now it's long abandoned. Also: 

"yes it is very much alive, there are 2 chapters to the game and the first one is completely translated and in the editing phase."

Hack/no hack: probably hacked (judging by the translation into Russian, which has been translated from English).

Why do you want it to be TLed: It's from the same setting as the Muv-Luv. I really like anime adaptation, plot, character development and "age" too. It was painful form to see KMGN characters in Muv-Luv, realizing that TL project was abandoned.

Why do you want it to be TLed: This is a fandisc of the original visual novel, Irotoridori no Sekai, which is currently being translated at the moment. I'm a fan of the visual novel, so a fandisc that continues the story is everything to the fan.

Other info: The lead of the team that's translating Irotoridori no Sekai said that he might not be up for translating the fandisc when he's finished with the original visual novel. Until recently though, the translators seem to have disappeared and left the original project hanging... so this is an another problem to consider.

Nitroplus has an exclusive partnership with JastUSA. This isn't workable as a fantranslation, since it is likely to (eventually) get an official translation.

I was wondering if there was any talk about translating Angel's Feather. I'd really like to see that one. I've been looking around, but I haven't found it anywhere. I watched the two short OVAs and felt it left a lot to be desired and I would quite like to go through the visual novel. Thanks for your time. :]

Actually I was planning on doing that very project you mentioned. But as you might have read in aarinfantasy our team is doing the Sukisho series.

But here's the deal. If you can find a translator willing to do translations for the game, then we can have the project off the ground. :D

Just one translator or more will be enough. So you better start searching :)
