    • Yes, I don't want my HDD getting all cluttered. Screw rereading!

    • Nope, I never delete 'em even if I've completed them 100%. I love them too much to do that to them <3

    • Yes and no. I keep my favorites and delete the rest.

    • Yes and no. I keep a few for rereading on a rainy day, but I'm going to delete them eventually.

    • Technically, no. I move all the VNs I've finished onto an external hard drive because that's just how I roll.

I only store the ones that are most impressive, if they are somehow worth to run every once in a while. In overall though, I uninstall most of games I typically finish, especially if they take up a lot of disc space. Back then, I used to keep some of the more difficult or time consuming visual novels for CG galleries or music, but since you can easily find those on the net nowadays, there's really no reason to clutter your HDD. The only exception from this are the save files, which I tend to keep forever.

Seems legit.  Anyone besides you opened it yet?  I mean, it's like putting a sign that says "Don't push this button" near a big red button.  People are gonna push the hell out of that button.

Considering im the only one who uses my computer nope....atleast I hope not....

Nope never delete them but I do keep them in an inconspicuous folder to avoid unwanted attention.

in my day we just named it porn. Most of the time in classes we switch laptops and such to analyze each other's technical data so almost everyone know's where the other guy's stash of porn is and what's in it. At home though i simply call it

I rarely uninstall games from my PC (just those which suck[ed]) and haven't deleted any VN so far. So, when I'm browsing my games/VN folder I remember the good times I had while playing - it's a great feeling. Well, they're like trophys to me and I just can't delete stuff I was sometime somewhat emotionally attached to.

when i first got here around a year ago give or take i went nuts bought a hundred blank dvds and filled them with vn's, games, manga, anime and light novels so my lap top could be a mini entertainment center when i travel to see my family a few times a year so i always erase them off my pc when i complete them . but if i like them good for me i probably have it on disk somewhere.

I use to have the latest 5 VNs installed but for the rest I have the install-disk and the memories saved away. I also separately save away the CG from memorable titles.

I think not keeping VNs installed saves the value of re-reading them since you forget and it stops you from re-reading just "that" route and skipping the pre-route, instead you re-read the whole title when you miss it that much.

I probably have the storage necessary having them all installed (including School Days and its spinoffs) but it clutters up, so it's not a storage problem.

Wait, School Days has spinoffs?  Do people love/hate them too?

They also keep the tradition with stable releases despite taking up so much space, Summer Days crashed so often they re-released it as Shiny Days with one more arch-route. Sadly they got milder on the bad-ends and yandereness <_<

thats OK id happly stab some one in the face for a copy of school days that was stable enough that i could play it. at least they fixed the bugs with summer days school days still wont work no matter what i do to the damn thing. im probably the only yandere lover and fan of bad ends who has yet to play school days.

I have them on an external disk. Unless they are kusoge and I never want to think about them again. Btw, I have to say, those are some well written poll choices :D.

Really?  xD  I spent less than five minutes thinking them up.  I kinda thought they were meh personally, but I'm glad you like them.

I didn't plan on deleting any, but my HDD is approaching full capacity to to my insane habit of never deleting any episodes of any podcast, and I listen to around 6 different shows that range from 1-4 hours a week.

I need to get an external solution for this problem, but for now, I have to deal with deleting my beloved VNs.
