Game Name: DRAMAtical Murder

Description of Problem: Whenever I try to run DMMd.exe I get this error message saying '実行できません'. From the small japanese knowledge that I have, I know this message is saying the program can not be ran. You've probably heard such problems before, but this one is different. My DMMd used to work perfectly fine, and I completed the whole game and moved on to Re:connect. Just when I wanted to revisit it, and tried to run it, it wouldn't turn on. And so I'm mildly concerned about the game as well as the life of my saved progress. Is there any way to fix this without needing to reinstall the game? My friend has the same issue, so I can't be the only one that had this happen to them.

What did you already try? -Change to Japan system locale

-Reboot your computer

-Try to run the game as an admin

-Stop the torrent after you have finished downloading (stop it from seeding)

-Check the permissions of the folder containing the game (properties -> make sure 'read only' is unchecked)

-Turn off your anti-virus

-Check if your antivirus had quarantined game files

 

So basically all the regular steps.

Was there a program you might have downloaded that contained a virus?

Have you tried re-installing and/or downloading?

Did you move anything at all? Moving stuff from your documents might erase something, messing with the registry will destroy everything, and moving the game might do that too.

I doubt it was something I downloaded. My antivirus does a good job of keeping me virus-free.

 

And I didn't move any documents or game files.

Before re-installing/downloading I was hoping to find a solution, since I'd like to keep my saved files if possible.

just gonna ask first but did you dl it from this fuwa?

and if you did make sure your running the dmmd_crack_for_ver110.exe cuz the other dousnt work right.

I already wrote it in the post, but yes I downloaded from Fuwanovel.

I already ran the crack file, because the game used to work perfectly fine a few months ago, but as I came back to it now, I met with the error I mentioned above and without any solution to the issue.

Alright, I ran the crack file again and it works now, sorry for the inconvenience ^^'
