The biggest surprise is that MangaGamer seeks to fund the continuation of Supipara. This is the first time a Japanese VN will be developed with western money, it's a very unusual circumstance. It's a very ambitious plan. I have my doubts about it, but I hope it works out for them.

Not sure if I'm even interested in Eden, after all the past shitstorm. Minori lost a lot in my eyes within last few years.

This might seem like MG finally getting their shit together, but in reality it's just an outcome of long overdue business negotiations. I guess it's at least good they are starting to release higher quality, somewhat decent games instead of all the trash they used to publish in the past.

I played Euphoria in japanese a bit.. was a bit too dark for my tastes, especially when I was trying to translate it myself xD. I might get it if it releases in english though. At least that way, I can read it quickly instead of having to sit slowly through the crazy parts.

The House in Fata Morgana looks kinda interesting... not sure I'm really into the 'goth' setting/art-style though... but looks like it has high reviews.. hm.  (ooh looks like there's a demo for it, gonna try it~)

So it's official--all-ages Steam releases of eroge with 18+ versions in English are possible.  This means that Mangagamer won't have to rely completely on nukige funding for sustainability.  This is important because their story-focused eroge releases in the past have tended to be unprofitable.  I worried that the incentive to release long story-focused titles would disappear.

I'm usually against H-scenes so I can say I'm glad Steam players are getting a choice.
