No laws will stop it from being sold. If anything stops it, it'll be some licence b.s. (though depending on which country you live in, you might need to tread carefully, due to Makina's Hscenes). As for a potential restoration patch in the event +18 doesn't become available for sale? Hard to say, but I sort of have my doubts. Kajitsu is already floating around out there with the original translation, but for the other two titles to be restored would take some real dedication I imagine. But I could be wrong, plenty of resto patches out there already (IMHHW is a good example). But as I understand it, the +18/non +18 Grisaia trilogy has fundamental differences that go beyond just ripping out hscenes. Kind of like FSN versus FSN Realta Nua. I suppose a handful of the dirty jokes have been toned down, but overall the script is still mostly the same and full of crass humor. And where there are differences, Sekai Project will attempt to retain the original version of the script. Here is, as far as I know, the only story difference between the 18+ version and all-ages version of Kajitsu: In Angelic Howl, they removed the cannibalism for the all-ages version. If I listen to what vndb comments have to say, there is a fair amount of controversy to re-write in the 2nd and 3rd installments. Famichip Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Weekly Update #2: Short update this week, but we've gotten started on editing "Fruit of Grisaia" scripts for the steam release. 19 scripts composing 426kb were reviewed this week, containing 31.6% of the game's common route. This editing process will be the focus of our localization work for a while. The speed it will progress may vary, depending on the amount of "new" content that needs to be translated in each route. BackerKit invites will be going out next week, we're waiting on some responses before we send out invites. We also were able to add digital/physical OST, the 3 poster set, and one of the Grisaia tapestries as new add ons that were not offered on the campaign. It used to be just a line of text saying something along the lines of, "We'll have a website up soon!" Pretty bare-bones right now, since they barely have anything available for purchase, but it'd be a good idea to periodically look at their Twitter account and website if you're interested in the 18+ versions, since Sekai doesn't seem to be saying anything about them, and the Kickstarter has most definitely ended. Super late on this, but I'd just like to clarify that that's not entirely correct. I don't remember how obvious it was in the original release, but it was still very much in the Vita version too, even if it was more abstract (still very obvious, though.) This is why I've been warning people about not backing if you're primarily interested in the 18+ version. For real, you only have yourself to blame for this. They never said there wouldn't be one, but they also never said there would be one. They should have let us know before the campaign was over but in the absence of any information on that version at all, I'm not sure why you'd back expecting to get a physical version.
