Adding more prepatched games to fuwan (not licensed)

So I know you have a lot of work on the site and blog so why not use us, users, to extend fuwanovel library.

I know that you don't share licensed games like from JAST, valid reason.

However there is loads of other games that are not licensed but not as well known, yet have English translation.

And as I am sure, you just don't have enough time to browse them, finding working download, finding the English patch and patching it (I know I had a trouble finding working torrent for the original Japanese version of one of those I'm going to mention, took me about 30 minutes to even find the torrent and then it was downloading like 20 hours low speed).

All that time you can save by letting us do the search and patching and only presenting you final files, I don't have quick upload so I can't share the torrent itself, but what I could do is take the working patched game (remove savefiles ofc) and upload it to some FTP in few hours, you would then only had to make the fuwanovel installer and post description and info, I can even make some screenshots for it.

Not that I have some big collection myself, I can share 2 games that are not on fuwanovel (and are not licensed), but there surely more people that have those and could help you.

Well anyway if you want I have these 2 and both work without installation, don't know about locale as I use Japanese one all the time.

those ones i wanted to do for a long time now! but i just havent gotten around to it,

supposedly they said the sharing of accounts on my seedbox is forbidden, which does make it trickier. And because on my seedbox, I don't have backups (as opposed to the main site), so I try to keep it just to myself to keep from people with malicious intent.

i guess since those 2 games are so small, maybe you can find a way to upload to Mediafire, and then we can put those mediafire links up, and also so i can download it onto my seedbox and then reupload them as torrents?

Well I think, is better to just put them On a Torrent Directly and maybe Have a Mediafire Link just to get some Seeds automatically for the Torrent, being those seeds us users.

I Was also trying to find some games like that, but to be honest a Play way too much in Jap, so I'm not that into TL's now (I was at the start XD) Sorry I can't be of help in that way. But i have a 1TB HDD so if you want, i can be an oficial seeder for the site, probably I'm going to get another one even bigger so its no prob for me ^^

BTW, you dont need locale for those 2 games actually since they're based in a System that does not care for it. Well In some Cases Windows is just Stupid and It will think anything that's not in your native language is corrupted ¬¬UUU so you might need the locale. I think just in case tell that locale is needed, to make sure.

Mediafire is now crap, without paying I can't upload file over 200mb so I would have to split it (which is not problem) BUT

So having it as links on fuwanovel page would get used pretty quickly.

Well 5gb free and then you can get like 100gb for 5$ and more and more if you need up to terabytes but then you pay a lot.

click for essay about file sharing in last years xD (damn me, I just keep writing and don't know where to stop, anyway its not as long but I didn't expect it to be as long xD)

I don't think between those 2 (google and dropbox) it really matters, either has some advantages, such as on google I can edit doc and docx or excel files without having any sort of software on my computer (as I barely use it), so when I need to read such file I just drop it there and open on web.

Why I used google is because I was using google documents for a long time, like mentioned as a text editor without having word for university stuff etc and I was also uploading all my backups of important files there so when they made the drive it just was easier for me as I can move it there on my disc without need for browser.

I only use it for very small files like documents or game saves, for images I usually use imgur.

However if you want to use it to share with tons of people, you will need different service like those putlockers and such, because as mentioned on google if it downloads more than 200 people, then the rest has to wait for some time, don't know how long. After the fall of those big ones like rapidshare (which is now crap) and now even mediafire, that putlocker seems like best option currently for sharing with people that don't have premium account there (such as links for fuwanovel).

I was using those services in the past, I even had rapidshare, wupload and filesonic premium, but now it is all dead in matter of minutes (talking about games and movies) so like 1.5 years ago I canceled all (well most of those services died or become useless) I moved back to torrents, got some good registration trackers like torrentshack and nyaa for japanese stuff (and sukebei nyaa for 18+)

My friends that are lot into american movies and tv series have some private trackers like torrentleech and sceneaccess but as I am now more into the japanese stuff (I saw one american movie this year - the new Batman and one English [british] tv series Red Dwarf season X) I don't need those.

Anyway I'm writing essays again, I should reconsider my life and become a writer!

The main point being, torrents are best for sharing with masses of people, google drove/dropbox with friends.

Well I like to help as I can when it comes to visual novels, These are the only I have patched, are not on fuwa and are not licensed. I hope to help with some translation when I actually learn Japanese but for now I'm damedame so I'm glad I can help like this.

The game itself was released at 31st of December that year, explaining why it has little "end of the year" theme in story.

So the first game started developtment probably right when she was the most popular.

Yes, It's just like you said. The actual intention for this game was a Fan release of the "Vocaloid Generation" (That's how i called it back then XD) in a VN so most people would buy they're Amateur Work. It's a pretty good game, and also it's 2 sequels are as good as the first one, so It's actually one of my favourites.

imo it's a brilliant VN - though loses some of its charm during translation because alot of its jokes are only funny in Japanese. That said the translators did a very thorough job of making sure they were all clearly explained, making it an excellent resource to study if you want some insight into traditional Japanese humour.

Aaeru~~ Change the Description For Vocaloid Games, IT IS Necessary Unicode for them u.u A Friend of mine wanted to play them, download it from web and couldn't play until he changed the Unicode to Japanese.

BTW, I couldn't get Aoishiro to run Without Having to install the game TT_TT It seems it needs to be rooted to the windows systwem or something 'cause when I try it unisntalled with all files, it wont run no matter what I do .-.UUU I think I'm doing something bad, but I also couldnt do it.
