I'd expect rare destroyers to be by nature rare even for that construction combo, and SS has less that 4% chance of drop from that. So, that leaves mostly CA and CL. Supposedly, on the wiki, it says your first fleet flagship class has a slight effect on crafting -- if you want rare destroyers, try setting a DD as flagship.. So far, out of my 4 subs (3 duplicate I-168's, one I-58), only one dropped in sortie so far... rest came from crafting. I've heard drop rates go up as my HQ level goes up, though? I have been using 1-5 to level my CLs and DDs, hope to get Iku eventually. In other news, I finally managed to avoid impulse spending and had my first resource pass 10k! ...it'll probably all be gone tomorrow.
