Moenovel basically rejected a lot of people in the current visual novel community by censoring Kono Oozora. In their words, they did it because: They wanted to expand to a wider market. By sending C&D they are pretty much saying they care about the old vn userbase market they so decisively set aside. That would be quite the conflict between their goals and actions. That reasoning aside. They might C&D just because why not. Protecting our works etc bla bla. Overall it does seem unlikely they will do anything in near future.
