Can't Quote

Internet Explorer has had some issues with copy pasting so if you're trying to quote by doing that that's probably the reason why.

If it's just the quote function itself then I don't know.

I think there's an option to turn the text editor into a plain text editor which fixed the other user's problem. But I don't use IE so I really don't know what else to do. Another thing that i saw on the microsoft forums was to run IE on compatibility mode when using text editors. That seemed to fix some bugs.

a response from the IPB dev's regarding the issues

Hello,

Am I right in thinking that you (and they) are using Internet Explorer 11? If so, there are quite a few known issues with Internet Explorer 11 and IP.Board unfortunately that our development team are investigating and working on fixing in a future update. For now however the options are to either manually type the BBCodes  or to use another web browser temporarily.

you can try doing quoting while in the basic editor as one guy said in one of those tracker links, but it might be an idea to simply not use the Virus that is Internet explorer
