History: The proud No Pantsu Kingdom was erected over the northern lands of Alaska, a place of icy cold days and aurora borealis. It came to existence thanks to the clash between the Kingdom of Loliconia and the Kyonyu Enforcers, when a single soldier screamed through the whole battlefield; a cry for justice and unity: "We all wear the same thing down there anyway!" Those words, accompanied by a sudden pantsu strip from her, left in awe the whole battlefield, which promptly erupted in a joyous roar and a rain of lingerie. The kindgom was formed afterwards, and they abide by only one rule: One shall not use pantsu, as it is seen as an item used to repress the freedom of the masses. Nonetheless, the kingdom location isn't the perfect for such a free rule, taking into account the cold that reigns over those lands. Even so, the Kingdom stands bare and proudly.

Extra mentions: The Kingdom is ruled by the monarchy system, being the Queen the one that enforces the rules. She was elected after her sudden outburst in the battlefield, and is considered a national hero in the No Pantsu Kingdom. She has a group of knights and aides which help maintain order and public decency (and they punish those who are too shameless and use Pantsu). No names can be given due to confidential reasons, but her highness identity can be hinted by the G.R. that she uses to sign paperwork and related stuff.

The Kingdom's creed is none other than "In pantsu we don't trust!"

Name: Weaboo Moe Islands

Location: Shetland Islands

History: One day a group of very bored teenage female anime fans decided the world wasn’t moe enough, so they invaded the Shetland Islands. Although maybe invaded is the wrong word, as the islanders did nothing to stop them. On Shetland the highlight of entertainment is watching a sheep give birth, so they welcomed anything that would life more exciting. The girls renamed the islands Weaboo Moe Islands.

Government: The government is divided into different sections. Overall power goes to the Moe Queen, who rules as a dictator and really has no idea how to run a country. Every month she meets with all the different government divisions and they have a discussion in poorly pronounced and grammatically incorrect Japanese.

Law Enforcement is overseen by the Yandere Division who carry out inventive punishments inspired by Higurashi and School Days on any wrong-doers. The worst crimes are ignoring the Moe Queen’s orders and being a chav. Both punishable by public death (much more exciting than watching sheep giving birth).

Healthcare is taken care of by girls in nurse outfits with a firm belief that a sticky plaster can heal all ailments.

Maid Cafés are the main source of revenue for the country, and the national dish is food shaped like Hello Kitty. Taxes are paid in the form of sweets.

Other info: Everyone must wear an anime school uniform with way too many frills. Even the boys. ‘Desu’ must be said at the end of every sentence. Cute characters like Kud, Lise and the entire Hoshizora no Memoria cast are national heroes that everyone must try to be like. The main ingredient in any of the dishes in the cafés is sugar. Lots of sugar.

Future plans include total world denomination, which will be achieved by fluttering eyelashes and offering world leaders some homemade cake in exchange for their country.

Moe Land

Location

This place is set on Amami Island, which earlier belonged to Japan. Most of the area is mountainous and is abundant in various species of plants and flowers. On the entire island are extending little villages and small towns, which are separated from each other by the said mountains. Here is the map, which is showing exactly, where this country is placed:

Colors on this flag are white, black and blue. The black star in center is symbolizing 9 biggest towns on this island, because people of this places are ruling this country. Blue triangle inside that star is symbolizing peace and harmony between the rulers. Blue and white strips are showing peace and harmony between citizens of this country (it's also one of the best pantsu pattern).

Moe Land is known for his beautiful anthem called "Tenshi Ni Fureta Yo". Our nation is proud of this masterpiece and every time they are singing it together with smile on their faces.

History

In the first years of 2^nd millennium Japanese government decided to separate one of their islands and make there new country, which will be subject partially to the Japan. They made on Amami island widespread ballot in order to choose the most important people, which will be ruling new country. Residents was living in separated towns, so there weren't any possibility for candidates to present themselves to the entire population. After few days of discussion the government has decided: every five years, from nine the biggest towns on this island, will be chosen nine people, who will be rulers of this country. In that way first ballot was performed - it was year 2005. Citizens wasn't interested in political wars and in empty promises. Therefore they just choose people, who were the most cute and sweet.

From the first nine rulers the most significant were:

Konata Izumi, who promised to increase export and import of manga and anime.

Sanzenin Nagi, who wanted to increase incomes to budget.

Haruhi Suzumiya, who was in charge of diplomacy and was taking care about contacts with rulers of other countries (and of other planets as well).

Yotsuba Kaiwai, who was the littlest ruler in the world. She most cared about environment and helped in decreasing population's contribution in global warming. She even remain among the ruling for a second term.

Everyday "The Little Goverment of Moe Land" (in short TLG) has meetings, where all nine people are discussing matters important for lives of citizens. Rulers are living among them, so it's not possible to do corruption or other fraud, because everyone in their towns are known. In addition, every town is getting bigger and bigger, because wants to be one of that nine to have own representative in TLG.

In 2009, at the end of first term of TLG, was sent a letter to Japanese government with request for a total independence, which was positively considered. Since 7^thof May 2010, Moe Land is independent country with own laws and power structure. This day is national holiday, when every one is singing national anthem on local towns' parades.

Law & Justice

Moe Land is relatively new country, so law is still in creating phase. Nevertheless, every shameful and heinous act causes exile that person from this island. On airports is really intensive control and every person who is coming here, must be checked. Our present minister of tourism, Hachikuji Mayoi, is trying to decrease this control and make Moe Land more tourism-friendly place.

The whole country is based on trust of local communities. People are helping each other in everything, and government is only working as connector between towns.

To this day everyone is living in peace and harmony as it's indicated by the flag.

Welcome to Kudoraando, the product of the hopes and dreams of the loli fans who refused to give up hope.

Location: The former continent of Antarctica.

History: Kudoraando was established in 2017, ten years after the "Muscle Sensation" Revolution spread across the world. Between the constant cries of "Muscles, yay yay!" that were now unavoidable nearly everywhere on the planet, a group of non-muscular lolicons- all shunned by society on counts of spreading dreaded "No-muscle ideals"- banded together and found the last remaining spot on Earth still untouched by the revolution. The six unnamed legends used the name of a well-known (in the former lolicon community) Russian-Japanese girl, Kudryavka Noumi, and combined it with her nonsensical way of speaking to name this new community "Kudoraando." While their inspiration had been one of the first to fall victim to the revolution, the residents of Kudoraando chose to view the young girl as a martyr, who was "Brainwashed into succumbing to the horrific revolution and spreading its ideals." Her pre-muscular form was used on the nation's flag, as a symbol of hope that Lolis would one day return to their former glory.

In 2020, a broadcast was sent out to the rest of the world, in an attempt to find similar-minded people to join their nation as citizens. In as little as six months, the population had doubled... to 12 residents. As of this writing (in 2021), the natives remain hopeful that the Muscle Sensation can be reversed, and that Loli will one day return to its former glory.

Language: Taken from their aformentioned namesake, native Kudoraando residents speak what some used to refer to as "Engrish"- an attempt at mixing the Japanese and English languages that usually ends in disaster. The Residents see it as moe, however, and believe that it perfectly represents their goals as a country.

The national phrase printed on their currency (known as doraa biirusu) is "Haro, eberibadii!," and it is invariably used as the main greeting between the residents. The citizens are peaceful, and have yet to actually rebel against the Government of Muscle, but have mutually agreed that if they did fight, their battle cry would be a long "Wafuuuuuu~!"

Government: Technically a Democracy, but no governmental work ever actually gets done, and no votes have ever been staged in its history. Everyone is too busy exchanging photos of Lolis from the pre-revolution days.

A Heart of Steel

Location:

At the moment, our nation is small, however, it will continue to grow, as we will continue in our rock-hard pursuit in life.

This is the location of our nation. "Where is this?" you may ask. Why, it's right in the middle of the Rocky Mountains! I'll go into the specifics of how we convinced Brock Obama, the current President of the US, into allowing us to take such a large location for our nation later.

Our flag is somewhat lazy, yes, but is without a doubt, something we are truly proud of. As some of you may be aware of, this is known as the triple point diagram, a diagram used to determine at which points a substance is a solid, a liquid, or a gas, under certain pressures and temperatures. Through our extensive research, we have made a large, yet not at all surprising conclusion. So large in fact, that we have decided to make it our flag:

As you can see, no matter the temperature or pressure, solidbatman is, without any room for doubt, always solid. This also symbolizes the people, as we too have decided to follow in solidbatman's footsteps, in an attempt to retain solidity, no matter what happens.

Our people have seen the repetition of musical notes as a sort of sign. We saw that, it was a sign for us to continue our way of life. Through this song, we learned that, something can be good, even if it only slightly changes. We can live our lives with the mindset of sticking to our beliefs and other such things by becoming rock hard.

History:

It all started in an IRC chat in #fuwanovel. The year was 20XX. I had, for the first time ever, had the opportunity to chat with solidbatman, and eventually learned of his great solidity. "Wow, this guy's really rock solid," I thought. His solidity left a burn in my brain. I could never forget the day... Thus, I had devoted myself to everything rock hard. I studied, studied, and studied about it all. I made it my dream to start up a nation in the rocky mountains, and eventually, a good friend of mine, Brock Obama, the current president of the US, had been inspired by my efforts, allowing me the bottom half of the Rocky Mountains. Another friend, Roxanne Hoenn, was also inspired, pushing her to become a person of great power in Canada, paving way for access to the top half of the Rocky Mountains. Other significant figures include, Elvis Presley, the king of rock, Roark Sinnoh, and of course, solidbatman. One may think that living in the mountains would prove to be a difficult task, but you'd be surprised how many resources are available to us here... and the things you can do when everything's solid.

Notable Laws:

1. Always be solid, in both mind and body.

2. When in doubt, rock on.

1st Amendment: Girls/Women/Female/etc. are exempt from rule one in terms of body, though are free to achieve solidity in mind and body if they so choose.

Form of Government:

We have left solidbatman as the leader of our nation. As our leader, he lives as a model for us all. Today, we all live to attempt at imitating the solidity that is solidbatman... without success, however, we believe that as long as we continue to aim toward the rock hardness that is solidbatman, we will one day come close, or even achieve it.

This took uhh, what, an hour? I dunno though, I lost track of time. I had way too much fun writing this one.

Glorious Hierocratic City-State of Hipsteria

History:

One glorious day, Devendra Banhart was visiting Austin, Texas. At the same time, Rick Perry was on his morning run. The Guv’nor bumped into Devandra Banhart, and promptly apologized, for even if he is something of a moron he has, at least, basic social awareness. However, this was not enough for Devandra Banhart, who cried oppreshun and all that, funneling the great hipster riots of 2015. Austin was paralyzed, as it was unable to function without its many overpriced coffee houses and video stores. Before the situation was critical, however, Austin seceded from Texas (and the Union) and formed its own, independent city state. No one gave half a fuck. Also, Zooey Deschanel was elected as first president for life.

Form of government:

Presidential democracy, with fully elected congress. However, congress is called parliament, because that’s what’s called in Europe, and we all know that Europe is a very sophisticated country. Also, to ensure that nothing ever changes from the glorious status-quo, parliament has five chambers. Constitutions are too mainstream so they don't have one, relying on hipster consensus instead.

Electoral system:

Even if parliament has five chambers, that still doesn’t guarantee that things will comfortably remain the same for ever and ever, before it was cool. Therefore, the electoral system is especially designed to disenfranchise groups with opposing views to the social consensus and to ensure that only mainstream (oh my, that word!) hipsters.

Parties/groups/factions/whatever can present two candidates for each district. Every district chooses two representatives/senators/whatever. The candidate who gets the most votes is elected. HOWEVER, if his running mate was the one who got second place, he is not automatically elected. Rather, they must have double the votes than the closest competing coalition; if they don’t, then the candidate who got the most votes in the closest competing coalition is elected instead.

Example:

Coalition A: candidate A gets 31%, candidate B gets 30%. Total: 61% of votes

Coalition B: candidate C gets 18%, candidate D gets 15%. Total: 33% of votes.

Candidates A and C would get elected, since Coalition A did not double coalition B in votes.

Lacking facial hair is forbidden for men, having it is optional (encouraged) for women.

Let me present to everynyan: The Freestate of Akihabara

This state is located and made out of Akihabara district in Tokyo, Japan.

The flag has the Japanese flag as its base but with the sun replaced by a iconic silhouette from the state.

and unlike most anthems, it's not sung, it's listened to in silence.

The freestate was established 2048 after the new major of Tokyo Kouichi Toyama in his ways to "reinforce morality (sic!)" pushed out laws banning possession, creation and spread of "questionable content" mostly targeting loli. This lead to a major uprising not limited by otaku that resulted in Akihabara breaking loose from Japan.

They decided on a constitution that only outlaws crimes that has victims and unconditional freedom of speech and publishing. The freestate does not take out an mandatory tax as costs are covered by voluntary contributions and reduced by androids and volunteers working in many sectors. The few decisions needed to take collectively is taken at the monthly assembly meeting in a maid-cafe which every citizen can attend.

As citizenship is not limited to people living in 3d some some of its most prominent citizens are 2d characters such as the whole cast from Bakemonogatari.

Yanbian

After an unprovoked biological and nuclear attack on North Korea (the Democratic People's Republic of Korea) by the United States on the 31st of December, 2015, the small group of surviving citizens were given sanctuary by China in Yanbian.

Yanbian is the red area marked.

The land they had left was too badly contaminated to inhabit and many of the refugees had become irradiated and ill. For their war crimes, the United States were made to provide aid to the victims. Most of this money went to China, who in turn gave the Yanbian area to the exiled Koreans. As their previous leader, Kim Jong-Un, had chosen to remain in the ruins of Pyongyang despite the radiation, the new area was left without a leader. In the first election for the founding of the new nation and the semi-presidential system of government, Choi Min-Seo was made president. The new country was named "Yanbian" to preserve the previous name of the land but they adopted the old anthem of North Korea, "Aegukka", in memory of the land they one day hoped to restore.

Many other countries provided aid to the founding of Yanbian, most notably Japan who outsourced much of their medical, scientific and robotics research to there. They kept strong ties with Japan and Yanbian adopted numerous parts of Japanese culture. Yanbian quickly became renowned as the front for new technological advancements and obtained a large amount of investment from around the globe. One of the laws of the country was to be open with information and so the sharing of knowledge helped speed the growth. Many countries were concerned about the monitoring of research and did not utilise Yanbian, fearing their own secret knowledge would be stolen or observed. The main aim of the government led research in Yanbian is still to investigate ways of restoring the old homeland, in hope of one day being able to return.

On the small group of islands marked on the map, a little below Japan, is located Loliconnia.

This nation was created as an ally to the Freestate of Akihabara, and also as an industrial and economic force to strengthen both nations. Those islands were pretty much deserted, and negotiations with the UN over control of the territory weren't too complicated. Fairly quickly, the Freestate of Akihabara took control of the islands and made them a sort of colony, Loliconnia.

The flag of Loliconnia represents the ideal all young Loliconnians strive for, the ever-adored shimapan.

In terms of "national identifiers", the Loliconnians don't have an anthem established as such, but all abide by one simple motto: "Cute is Justice".

The Loliconnian government is a democratic one, with some differences from the known model. One of the most remarkable is the Ministry of Pantsu, MiniPantsu for short. This organization controls the import and export, apart from the fabrication and quality control of pantsu manufactured there. This ministry proved to be vital, because Loliconnia is now one of the most powerful economies of the area, thanks to the high-quality pantsu made and exported to different countries. Some of those even sold for thousands of US dollars, helping to create jobs and strengthening the workforce throughout the country.

I took the liberty of using another nation to elaborate mine. Lousy effort, but meh.

In 2018 a small nation is founded between Kazakhstan and China called "Serkan". Due to China's restrictive policies regarding the practice of religion many Buddhists who practiced meditation out in the open were persecuted at the time. These Buddhists followers wished to find a haven to freely practiced their religion so they migrated West where they settled on Lake Zaysan in Kazakhstan. Their leader, Ma Zhigong, wished to create a Chinese dominated area that emphasized religious tolerance.

As you might imagine, having the Chinese government and Kazakhstan to recognize this small nation was not easy. Ma Zhigong appealed to the Russian president at the time, Ivan Stravinsky, for assistance. Zhigong was able to convince Russia to back their country by promising them to pay the equivalent of 20 million Russian rubles over the next 50 years to Russia. With the backing of the Russian government, Kazakhstan and China who did not wish to stir up international tensions allowed this small country to exist. So began the history of Serkan.

Serkan though dominated by Chinese also had a notable amount of Kazakhs and Russians who lived in the area thus the culture of this country became a mix of Western and Eastern. Kazakhs who are ethnically Asian, tend to resemble Turkish people, were once a part of the Soviet Union and had a very Russian culture. The dominate language of the country was Chinese with Russian as a major second and some Kazakh also. Thus a country was established in which quite different cultures were able to come together and get along.

The first order of business was to design a flag for their country that would represent what they stood for. The form of government they decided on was a true democracy. Since the country had a relatively low population at the time, it was feasible that everyone in the country at least 18 years old voted and that directly decided who became their president. The Serkan constitution was officially written in 2019 and had the president as head and had a way to check his power that if a policy he passed was unfavorable a vote by the people could rebuke it if atleast 60% of the votes wanted to repeal an act ordered by the president.

Notable Laws:

1. All religions are to be excepted and allowed to worship freely as long as that religion does not directly harm another human.

2. Women are guaranteed the same rights as men.

3. Ethnicity will not be a factor that determines eligibility in politics or the type of job one can achieve.

Serkan was a country founded on the principle that having biases or restrictive laws aimed at a certain group will only hurt a country. Most founding citizens had experienced religious suppression of a sort and did not want any sort of restrictive practices regarding what they could practice and did not want certain groups to feel unwelcome.

In a turn of events that shocked the globe, the surprise candidate Strugatskaya Kudryavka Anatolyevna wins the Russian presidential election at the age of 29 with a staggering 93% of the votes. According to an earlier poll, most voters did not have the slightest clue as to what her policies were, but that she was "... too cute to not vote for." Of course, voting without an inkling of knowledge of what you're voting for is common practice in Russia, so this surprised absolutely nobody.

The first manned mission to Mars was launched today, estimated to arrive on Mars on October 30, and after a 2 week stay return to Earth on April 02, 2028. The cosmonauts referred to the launch as their gift to the president, since Strugatskaya celebrated her 36th Birthday on this day.

In an unexpected move, Russian president Kudryavka Strugatskaya has declared Canada annexed. When Prime Minister Harper enquired as to how they could be annexed if Russia's forces have not even been mobilized, the President simply replied "Do you want us to?" Harper later commented on the annexation "If we're being ruled by a woman in another country, does it really matter which one?" Several hours later he apologized for the comment. As a reminder, during her 2020-2024 term, President Strugatskaya greatly improved Russia's infrastructure, as well as abolished conscription, which in a few years lead to Russia taking over the USA's formerly held position of the country with the most powerful military.

The President of the United States said that if Russia were to move to annex the USA, they would be openly hostile, but President Strugatskaya said that no more countries needed to be annexed. Whether this is true or not is as of yet unknown.

As has been expected for several weeks now, major reforms have been carried out. Russia and its annexed territories will henceforth be known as the Great Northern Aliiance. Due to the size of our new country, it will be separated into 3 states - Canada, which now also includes Alaska, Russia and Northlands, which consists of the remaining countries. The official language of the GNA is English, although each territory is free to have their former language as a secondary language. The GNA's national anthem is a song composed for this special occasion called One's Future. The position of President is now also a lifelong position.
The name change in particular has been met with great enthusiasm, as most citizens think it sounds far cooler than the old one.

Founding / Expansion

For much of its short, turbulent history Nohman’s Land has had consistent and well defined borders. Its policy of conquest and expansion has been relatively unique. Every decade or whenever a new advancement minister comes to power, a select few vicars are appointed in the name of transforming the cultural and scientific landscape of the country. They are given ample resources and a wide degree of authority to carry out wars, expeditions, secret missions, and scientific and artistic endeavors. This includes kidnapping leaders of industry, top scientific minds, genius artisans, and so on. This means venturing forth with armies, not in the name of expanding borders or acquiring new land, but of securing resources and pillaging technological and cultural gains.

Founded in 1837 via a coup of the previous government by the hands of a mercenary band, the country faced 3 decades of political strife until a stable government was able to position itself and secure authority over the people of the land. The following 2 years would prove to be transformative as the government worked through its growing pains, bringing the few remaining autonomous communities that dotted the land into the fold. What came out at the end of all this was an elective monarchy and a government predicated on merit.

Law

The law of the land is flexible, the chief tenant guiding the law being “achieve.” Exemptions are often made for the end result of an action. Individual cities and towns possess their own unique set of laws, tailored to better facilitate specific purposes and growth. Taxation is made not purely in the form of flat monetary contributions or by a percentage of income, but by an individual community’s contribution to the overall integrity, refinement, and growth of the country’s scientific and cultural core. Cities and towns that don’t blossom into bastions of scientific discovery, artistic merit, or industrial centers are often restructured; an audit is made of each individual citizen, company, and institution. Those that are deemed detrimental or of no use to the community’s growth are removed from the city – either relocated to a city where they can be of better use or forced into indentured servitude, typically low-levels of military service. Other people are then moved in that can stimulate growth and better focus the contributions of the community.

Likewise, those lands ‘conquered’ through the great cultural expansions that occur every decade must pay tribute, exacted mostly in the form of a

monetary tax, but also sometimes in the form of scientific and cultural gain – works of great poets and artists, new inventions, etc.

Notable People

Due to the nature of the government (inadequate, ill-performing kings can be deposed by the authority of the advancement minister) and the society, the country’s history is littered with a number of great figures – kings, advancement ministers, vicars, scientists, artists, philosophers, etc. One of particular note is advancement minister and later king, Sareef Hardiman, who fleshed out and refined the country’s philosophy into what it is today.

Another individual of note was Queen Asriyah, a philospher queen who nursed the country off its slave industry and outlawed nation-wide the entire practice of slavery.

Of all the vicars, Vicar Absat is widely regarded as the prime example of nohmenian strength and resoluteness. A fat, jovial man whose temerity was only matched by his ruthlessness. Combine this with a mind for all things military, and you have a vicar who brought countless tributes and human capital back to the country.

A patroness of the arts, Vicar Ru'yah ushered in an artistic golden age to the capital city of New Eden. With her eye for talent and an open coin purse, she commissioned many of the city's beautiful, inspiring landmarks.

A blight on Nohmenian history, King Nimr greatly diminished the kingdom's coffers with fruitless projects and vanity driven commissions.

A brief history about this country:

This nation was founded in the year 1524 by Spanish conquerors, which suppressed the native tribes and conquered them, those tribes were the Olmecas and the Xicalancas; the leader of that group of conquerors was Jorge Hernandez a friend of Hernan Cortez, but them didn’t want to be smuggled whit the recently established New Spain and wanted their own nation instead, so they conquered most of the old territories of the natives and fought against the New Spain during almost 10 years until they accepted the frontiers that were recorded in the “Decreto del Popocatepetl” that decree still in effect and now determines the frontier between Tlaxcallan and Mexico, after that decree the country established an commerce accord whit Mexico and it still in effect until these days. And that’s how the country was founded.

After changing the government type and even tried Kingdom finally was decided use a Democratic Republic in the year 1860 that created the Law of Tlaxcallan whose precursor was Ignacio Pozos who was King at that time, he decided to make the country a democratic republic to prevent a Independence war like in the Neighbor country (Mexico) 50 years before; and he created the Constitution of 1861 which has its last modification in 1936 by the at that time President Roberto Perez, finally the country entered in the UN at the year 2000.

History

While there is no-one alive today who still remembers the Ragnarok war of 2055, the repercussions are still felt even today, 150 years later. And while it is unknown who started it, civilization in it's entirety was wiped out in a matter of days by the constant rain of Ragnarok warheads (the chemical composition of the Ragnarok substance is currently unknown).

In the year of 2077 A group of shipwrecked survivors discovered a large, albeit damaged, server node of pre-war origin in a secure bunker on the Island they had been stranded on. Overseeing this node, was the AI now known as KEEPER. KEEPER, having suffered several malfunctions over the years, gave the humans (who it named "the Children") access to the damaged node, and allowed them to learn whatever they could from it. The Children learned quickly, and under KEEPERS guidance began repairing the bunkers facilities, and rediscovered many things that had been lost since the war. The rebuilding process is only sparingly recorded, since the next records made are from the winter of 2130. By that time, the Scientocracy had been formed, and the Island (now known as "Hope") had become fully developed, and a small fleet had been assembled. It was also around this time that the first of the 143 original Children was turned into a memory program and integrated with KEEPER.

The first contact with other human societies (while survivors had stumbled upon and became a part of the Scientocracy before, this is the first time that the presence of other post-war countries became known) happened in 2131, when the Drone-carrier SDC Mayoi encountered a pre-war battleship manned by people claiming to be part of the "Guinean Confederacy". After a short battle, the Guinean Battleship had been sunk and the remains of it's crew had been taken prisoner aboard the Mayoi. This was the first battle of the Reclamation War, which has been fought since then. While the Guinean Confederacy quickly fell before the advanced weaponry of the Scientocracy, it quickly became apparent that the Confederacy was not the only post-war Civilization that had sprung up. Hundred, if not thousands, of new states, fearing the sudden appearance of the Scientocracy, quickly attacked to curb our nations power. Fearing an over-extension of our forces, KEEPER made a new war-policy, which focused on defense and the reclamation of old and new technology alike. This policy has been upheld for the last 74 years.

Today, while the war lacks the intensity it once had, it is still ongoing. With the launch of the Arcueid Orbit-to-surface system, the Scientocracy finally has the means to strike any surface of the earth, whether it is with military units or with ordnance, unopposed. An end to the Reclamation war is finally in sight, and the forces operating in other parts of the world might be sent home soon...

Every crime has a specific punishment tailored for it, with a few notable crimes and their respective punishments being:

Murder: A procedure where the criminal is turned into a memory program and integrated into a "Prisoner circuit" Which will Scan the memory program continuously for a year, carefully subjecting it to mind-altering changes. If the program has been approved by the internal affairs and military councilors, it will be downloaded into a clone body containing functions that keep the criminal from committing any more crimes. After that, it is released back into society. The Criminals original body is dissected, and it's organs are used for medical purposes.

Theft: Reimbursing the victim with an amount double the value of that which was stolen. The criminal will also be put under constant surveillance for 5 years.

If the criminal cannot repay the victim, military deployment can be considered as alternative punishment.

Treason: Death by ingestion of sulfuric acid.

The first historian and the author of The Scientocracy, an overview of it's history and society. One of the Children. The last one to be integrated as a memory program with KEEPER, in the year of 2161. It is also his personality that KEEPER is said to resemble most.

The only citizen to have held every post in the high council. He is also the oldest person in the entire scientocracy, being one of the first to be born on the Island, and also being the discoverer of functional immortality. At the time of writing, as the minister of archeology, he is currently overseeing excavations in what was pre-war known as Japan, where he has made many great finds in a region he calls "Akihabara".

The minister of Aerospace research from 2192 to 2202. His dedication and work was what led to the Arcueid system, the gravity drive, and the principle behind localized gravity manipulation.

The commander of the Drone carrier Mayoi during the first twenty years of the Reclamation war. She was later promoted to admiral after the battle of Port Moresby in 2151.

History:

In 2050, there was a sudden epidemic and people began to transform into monsters that caused havoc around the world. Around the same time, people, specifically girls suddenly had the ability to transform into mahou shoujos. Mahou Shoujos are special beings because not every girl had the ability, only those who met a certain criteria, and to this day no one knows what the criteria are. Even though they defeated the monsters and protected Earth from harm, the world didn’t see them as their saviors, but also viewed them as monsters. A war began between mahou shoujos and the world; mahou shoujos who just wanted to coexist with the world and humans who just wanted to live peacefully. The war lasted for years; blood was shed on both sides, countless lives were lost until a girl made a wish to end it all. Kaname Madoka made a wish to save the world and created a miracle that stopped the endless fighting. Using her powers, the miracle she had created was coexistence between mahou shoujos and normal people. It is now the year 2060, ten years after the first epidemic and the existence of mahou shoujos. There is now a nation, a place where mahou shoujos belong and coexist with others. This nation is called Magical City, previously known as Japan. Magical City was created to defeat the monsters and protect the world from harm. Two weeks after Magical City had settled, the monsters had reappeared again and the city is now the location where all mahou shoujos gather to protect the world.

2020: The People’s Republic of China unites with Japan, thus becoming known as the East Republic, now the strongest country in the world. The USA and the European Union refuse to recognize this union and begin an effort to weaken its economy by banning all commerce with the East Republic. Any countries that disobey the ban have all diplomatic and commercial relations cut as well. Even so, most Asian countries stand by the East Republic’s side. The world is once again divided between East and West.

2024: The segregation between East and West becomes fiercer with time, strengthening xenophobic feelings and giving rise to the extreme right. The government begins the “Defense of the Greater Interest Program”

2028: The members of UNO reunite with the East Republic’s leader, Miyamoto Liu, questioning the porpoise of the “DGI Program”. After a short negotiation, Miyamoto Liu signs a document declaring he has “no hostile intentions”. News of the negotiations success and images of this document circulate the whole Western World. On the next evening, the East Republics military expansion begins with an attack on Russia.

2029: With the military success thus far, the East Republic government gains enormous popularity. Miyamoto Liu is nominated the “Great Leader” with 83% rate of approval. The East Republic name is changed to “Great East Empire”. All countries that stood by their side in the past had become part of their territory, as well as the Middle East and most of Russia. At the same time, they start advancing trough the Pacific. The west tries to form a united front, but discussions about how the world should be divided after the war take most of their energy, preventing them from forming a well-organized line of defense.

Foundation

2031: The Great East Empire’s military advance continues. The remaining members of the European Union reluctantly unite under a single flag in order to counter strike. A great effort is put in creating a single “European nationality”. The government’s propaganda reminds the people of the “noble days of the past, when Europe ruled the world”, while leaving out the continents internal antagonisms. All remaining countries throughout the world who don’t want to fall under the Empire’s dominion found themselves with no choice but to join either Euria or the United States. In the end, the whole continent of Africa was annexed to Euria and the Latin America to the USA, but the population and culture of both continents was mostly ignored by the northern regions.

2039: The Republic of Euria managed to get back all of Europe’s territory, and conquered some of the Middle East. However, they could advance no further. The USA, likewise, managed to drive the Empire forces out of America, but met no success in their attempts to attack trough the Pacific. After a long war of attrition, the three devastated countries signed a non-aggression tread.

2040: The Eurian nationalist propaganda, together with the poor state in which the country found itself, gave birth to a general feeling of nostalgia of the days of the past. The people longed for that lost glory. And so, old aesthetical and social values started to resurge. The government starts selling nobility titles as a way to raise funds for the reconstruction after the war.

2042: The country’s name is changed from “Republic of Euria” to “Kingdom of Euria”.

Architecture

In the year of 2042, the great architecture Filipo Vitruvio wrote the treatise “In Defense of a Noble Architecture”, in which he defended that the country should be rebuild in way that reminded the people of the Golden Era, reaching their souls.

Robert Lyotard then wrote the treatise: “counterpoint”, in which he harshly criticized Vitruvio’s ideas, calling them anachronistic and insisting on the need a style fit for the new times. Lyotard gained a small number of followers, but was justly shunned by society and is now mostly forgotten.

Today, most Eurian buildings use the most modern technologies, but are ornamented in a neo-neo-classic or neo-neo-gothic style, appealing to the people’s hearts.

The Kyakan Republic

"Do everything for the greater good of Kyakan"

The majority of Europe, in present. When the country was first getting it's roots, Kyakan was located in eastern Russia.

History:

It started as a military country created in the 80's at the height of the cold war. It was the 4th member of the soviet union. after the cold war passed without any violence and the soviet union broke, it was left with a large military and nothing to do with it. It's borders slowly grew and grew as it took over neighboring countries with it's unbeatable military. Since they overtook many agricultural societies and they became a huge exporter and started becoming a world superpower. But the people were unhappy. They were under a bad dictatorship and it resulted in revolt. Lead by Vladimir Robertski the revolt was a success and they overthrew the dictator. The country was now highly objectivist and political figures had very little importance and were mainly just to act as a ambassador and would propose new laws. The people voted on almost everything. They still continued to grow and grow till the present day, 2023. They now took over the majority of the European continent. They are allies with with Asia who were scared they would be overtook by them otherwise. They had huge nuclear arsenals and were on the brink of another cold war with america who had also grew, annexing canada and working on doing the same with mexico, Puerto Rico and guam had become states and the virgin islands and U.A. Samoa were close. Bio warfare was becoming more and more popular and they were developing laser weapons and even mini-nukes that could be fired from a over-the-shoulder launcher. Because they assimilate the surviving soldiers of the army they attack they have a very large army called "The Unified Armies of Kyakan" because the assimilated soldiers keep their rank there are to many generals to keep a unanimous consensus between them on how they should attack so there is a arch-general elected by the people. They make command the generals and with how little power politicians have, arch generals are the most powerful and respected people in the country. There large amounts of gasoline and food that was exported was also a huge weapon as a few months before attacking they would extort them. Making the enemy very weak before they attack. This coupled with the best strategists in the world brought them to victory every time. The population is almost all atheist and those who are religious are mainly in cults who are the greatest threat to the country, they commit many terrorist attacks for various reasons, but most of the time it's rebelling against the law of how you can't practice religion publicly, of course with such a atheist population not many would oppose it. The terrorist attacks are a huge threat to the country and very hard to control as the cults are careful not to leave traces. They and their terrorist attacks are growing as the country grows larger.

Vladimir Robertski, He lead the revolt against the dictatorship and is widely considered a hero by the population. You may even see a statue in his honor scattered around Kyakan.

Alexander Boris, The first and only dictator of The Kyakan Republic who was put to death after the revolt. Nothing really to add about him.

Atheism, the majority of Kyakan's population.

Gaea's forces, a cult that commit terrorist attacks because of the pollution Kyakan has caused. They believe in the earth as a omnipotent being, similar to how the greeks believed in Gaea, the primordial of earth, and which is we call them that, as their actual name is unknown

Political Parties:

Libertarian party, a majority of the of the population, accounting for 63% of Kyakan's population.

New world's order, a party that is mainly for science and technology. They contain many scientists and physicists. Accounts for 22% of Kyakan's population

The conservative party, mostly the same as they were in 2014, accounts for 7% of the population

Green party, Because of the pollution they have grew larger and some are members of Gaea's army. Accounts for 6% of the population.

You can not practice religion publicly, Can not commit acts that go against the country (Terrorism, info dealing with other countries etc.) and no theft, murder, arson, ect.

Law System

If someone breaks these laws they are sent to a court they are given a harsh punishments, and for murder and worse, they are exposed to anthrax. Because of fear of these punishments the crime rate is very low.

All laws are voted on and are either passed or rejected by the citizens, so there is no real need for a formal system of law to pass most laws.

-Year 122 BA (Before Ahoge).

A group of nomads reached the northern mountains. There they settled at the foot of the mountains and built their village. Over time, the village grew, and became a small town, named 北山陸 [Kitayama Riku](Northern hill land). The people were self-sufficient, had small plantations and fished in the great lake, Where'd obtained water.

The people from 港の湖 [Yama no Minato-ko] discovers discovers a village of strange people, who lives deep in the forest. Some people have reported that these people have tails and pointy ears.

-Year 16 BA (Before Ahoge)

Diplomats are sent to make the first contact. But it don't go too well, because these people speak another language. These people appear to be called "humanoida kattdjur".

-Year 10 BA (Before Ahoge)

The "humanoida kattdjur" don't want the humans to explore the forest. But the humans decide to ignore them.

-Year 6 BA (Before Ahoge)

The explorers are attacked in the forest. No one is killed, but many of them is seriouly injuried.

-Year 4 BA (Before Ahoge)

The tension grows between the two races, and a war seems likely to happen at any moment.

-Year 2 BA (Before Ahoge)

The humans declare war against the "humanoida kattdjur".

-Year 1 BA (Before Ahoge)

A boy appears, with his two imoutos, and says that they will do the test.

The relationship between the two races worsens.

The trio completes the trial in less than 1 year. Meet the God of this land, that laughs at the foolish of the people, and grants the "dum har" (Ahoge) to the three.

-Year 1 AA (After Ahoge)

When the conflicts are getting really serious, the three heroes appear in the middle of battlefield. Seeing their figures, the "humanoida kattdjur" kneel and says " Förlåt oss, dum hår användare " (Forgive us, Ahoge users). With this, the three turns to the humans, and expressing their indignation with their Ahoges, they face them. Instantly, everyone lower their weapons, and, thus, the war ends.

Several meetings are held so that both sides understand each other, and, finally, a peace treaty is signed.

-Year 6 AA (After Ahoge), July

The people of all cities agree that they should be united under a higher command to prosper in peace.

-Year 6 AA (After Ahoge), December

The hero is indicated to be their leader, their king.

-Year 7 AA (After Ahoge), January

And, thus, at the beginning of the 7th year AA (even if at that time, the calendar wasn't denominated like this), Araragi Koyomi, the best Ahoge user of all times, became king.

-Year 7 AA (After Ahoge), June

All the people was allowed to receive an Ahoge, and the official religion of the kingdom is defined as: Ahogod.

-Year 7 AA (After Ahoge), November

The "humanoida kattdjur", who already followed this religion, is officially included as part of the kingdom, as equals. They learns the official language, and even though their race was called "humanoida kattdjur" (Felines humans), they become known as "Nekomimis".

-Year 8 AA (After Ahoge), February

Araragi Karen and Araragi Tsukihi are known as Fire Sisters, keeping the peace and justice in the kingdom.

-Year 25 AA (After Ahoge), May

Araragi Koyomi proposes a new form of government: the Aristocracy, in which the best citizens assume power, to seek the best for the people. It's defined that 5 humans and 5 Nekomimis will be selected. The 5 best Ahoge user from each race.

Humans and Nekomimis peacefully coexist for a long time.

-Year 96 AA (After Ahoge), March

In the city of 南の国土 [Minami no kokudo], a little girl decides that she'll be among the top 5 of the Kingdom in the next test.

-Year 98 AA (After Ahoge), September

After get her Ahoge, the girl trains without rest.

Year 99 AA (After Ahoge), October

A second Ahoge appears on the head of the girl. She trains more and more.

-Year 100 AA (After Ahoge), April - The 3AD day

With the test happening in the next month, she's almost at her limit, but she thinks that she's still not good enough. And then, shortly after dawn, it happened. The third Ahoge. The girl completely lost the reason with such power. No one could stop her. Except the two best students of the Kingdom, Izumi Konata and Tsumiki Miniwa. It was a difficult and dangerous morning, but, by the afternoon, they arrived at the town. Using his exceptional techniques of Ahoge Control, they managed to pass their sentiments to the girl and they made her understand what she was doing. Finally, the girl calmed down, and the three Ahoges disappeared. That phenomenon was known as "3 Ahoge of Death" (3AD).Since that they, no one tried to get more than one Ahoge again. Posteriorly, a law was created preventing this.

-Year 218 AA (After Ahoge), January

This is today. The major incidents happened until now, and everyone leaves peacefully with Ahoges.

How was founded:

By the use of Ahoge skill, all the people
understood each other and agreed to create a nation. This was the start of the kingdom.

Notable Laws:

Every school must have classes of "Ahoge Control".

If a person who was born without ahoge, the government offers free treatment to grow one.

Since the great disaster, known as 3AD (Three Ahoge of Death), multiple ahoges are prohibited.

Every five years, an evaluation is performed to determine the 5 best Ahoge controllers. This event is known as Ahogemu. The chosen are appointed aristocrats, and must bring the best to the kingdom.

No one should be discriminated by the size of his/her ahoge or not owning one.

Notable figures of the Ahoge-mimi Kingdom history:

Araragi Koyomi (阿良々木暦 Araragi Koyomi)

The first Ahoge user and first king of the Ahoge-mimi Kingdom (when it still was a monarchy). He was the hero that stopped the war between the races.

Araragi Karen (阿良々木火憐 Araragi Karen)

The middle sister of the Araragi family. A very good Ahoge user and the Fire Sisters’ most active member.

Araragi Tsukihi ((阿良々木月火 Araragi Tsukihi)

The younger sister. Following the lead of her big sister, she’s the other member of the Fire Sisters.

Miniwa Tsumiki (御庭つみき Miniwa Tsumiki)

One of the best students of the A class of the Ahogestation School, in北山陸 [Kitayama Riku]. A perfect tsundere example. Her Ahoge intensified both her tsun side and dere side. She’s very shy.

Izumi Konata (泉こなた Izumi Konata)

Tsumiki’s rival as one of the best Ahoge users of the A class of the Ahogesnow School, in雪土地 [Yuki tochi]. Very spontaneous and friendly.

Ecarlate Juptris Saint Piria (エカルラート・ジュピトリス・セントピリア Ekarurāto Jupitorisu Sento Piria)

The little girl that lived in南の国土 [Minami no kokudo] and suffered from 3AD. After the incident, she preferred to stay without an Ahoge, even though she admires the Ahoge users.

Culture:

The Ahoge-mimi Kingdom is eco-friendly, so all the technologies that are developed do no harm to the environment.

There are three national holidays per year:

The foundation day (in honor of the foundation of the kingdom)

The Ahoge day (in honor of the Ahoge)

The Peace day (in honor to the hero that bring peace between the races)

The people is very friendly.

Typical food includes:

Onigiri (Made from white rice formed into triangular or oval shapes and often wrapped in nori (seaweed).)

Ramen (Wheat noodles served in a meat- or (occasionally) fish-based broth, often flavored with soy sauce or miso, and uses toppings such as sliced pork (チャーシュー chāshū), dried seaweed (海苔 nori), kamaboko, green onions.)

Nikuman (Food made from flour dough, and filled with cooked ground pork or other ingredients.)

Ärtsoppa (Yellow Pea soup.)

Gravlax (Salmon cured with salt and sugar with herbs.)

Pannkakor (A thin pancake fried in an ordinary frying pan.)

The currency is Ahoes (₳)

Religion:

The official religion, the Ahogod, is nothing complicated, and doesn’t intervenes too many on the daily life.

The basics of the Ahogod are:

Respect the Ahoge.

Don’t steal.

Don’t kill.

Live peacefully.

Do your best to everyone.

Starting with the first king, Araragi Koyomi, every month, a festival is held to God, where people uses the Ahoge to demonstrate gratitude and love to God and everyone else. It’s said that in the first festival, the king was the first to do it, and he used his Ahoge to demonstrate how much he love this kingdom.

Education:

The education is obligatory until the end of High School.

The Elementary School is divided in 6 grades.

Students learn about language, math, geography, history, arts, environment, music, ethics and Ahoge.

The High School is divided in 4 years.

Students deepen their studies on subjects studied previously. The fourth year is dedicated exclusively to the study of the Ahoge.

Higher Education

After High School, those who wants to proceed studying must enter the Vocational School for 2 years. Based on student performance are offered three choices of courses to which the student has more affinity. This is the only way to enter the Royal Academies.

Royal Academies

The higher grade of education of the Kingdom. Those who complete this level receive the Ahoge Magister's degree. The degree typically required 7–8 years of studies.

Transport:

The transportation in the Ahoge-mimi Kingdom is mainly bicycle and boats. Since the technology is completely eco-friendly, there’s no transport that pollutes the environment. The bicycles are cheap, practical and, nowadays, even comfortable.

The boats have aerodynamics designs, so the effort to move it is minimum. The more modern boats convert solar energy to mechanic energy, and transfer to the boat. However, it’s still experimental.

Doesn't exist, and no one needs something like that in the Ahoge-mimi Kingdom.

Country: Holy Kingdom of Paltina.

Location: Melbourne, Australia.

History:

Back in the Medieval era, there was a small city by the name of Almezan near Sydney. Its main focus was their grand military in which they were proud since they had outstanding tacticians, so they always had good campaigns. The bad side was that the king would often give priority to military related issues, so life there was that you either turned a soldier and participated in battles, or live a life of poverty.

There was a boy by the name of Elliot who was a simple villager. One day in his village, the princess Amarelia made a visit and stayed in a near castle. The princess was a sheltered girl who wanted to know more about the world, so one day she escaped from the castle by herself, where she found Elliot lifting some bags of bread and the like. After meeting the two quickly grow close, as Elliot would often tell the princess how (unfair) life was, how the people behaved and what could be done in order to make it better. The princess would often try to persuade her father with those ideas, but without success. After a while, the king thought that moving her to that castle was a wrong idea, since she, somehow, was getting ideas with he considered wrong. He then moved her back to the capital. Before leaving, Amarelia made a last visit to Elliot in which she told she was going to go back to the kingdom. Elliot swore that he would one day free her.

Elliot was a commoner though, the only way he could rise in status to at least enter the kingdom would be being a soldier. He then trained for 5 years and rose in rank, until he was a commander. After a grand battle, he was finally assigned to a post in the holy city of Aurelius, the capital. After some time of settling there, he finally met princess Amarelia once again in a ball. Meeting again after 5 years, he proposed to the princess. The king didn't approve though, as he had plans to marry her to a prince of a foreign country, so he accused him of treason and banished him from the capital. He didn't give up, so he returned to his hometown and began working on a coup d'état. He went from town to town recruiting people, who gladly accepted since they were tired of the oppression. After gathering enough people, he officially announced his intentions and formed the Holy Maiden Resistance. There were a lot of small scale revolts by civilians, although that wasn't enough.

After lowering the morale of the soldiers, Elliot launched an undercover attack at the castle with an operation called Operation Grasp, which finally dethroned the king. After winning, a council was formed with civilian representatives taking part so the people could finally have some weight in the decisions of the kingdom. With that, the Holy Kingdom of Paltina was formed, with Elliot and Amarelia as first king and queen, with the help of the Holy Council of the People, which was formed of commoners for the commoners.

Government:

Monarchy,with a council formed of commoners so they can see their problems by themselves. In stratification: Queen > King > Council. The council is formed by 10 members who discuss the actual problems and think of a solution, which is then passed to the King and Queen for their approval. The council receives financial help from the kingdom, but the money is not theirs so it *must* be used for the people to make better towns. The king is a high authority so it is only passed by lineage, while the council is elected by the people every 5 years. If the council does not bring results, it may be disbanded before time and a new one is elected immediately.

Religion:

Catholic, with added deities like god of rain, of prosperity, of luck, etc. The Tarot Arcana is highly valued and being able to read it is a must for people who want to preach religious beliefs.

Culture:

Family-focused. People tend to have their own families in high regard, since they believe that a stable home is sign of good education. If you have a proper family, people are sure to trust you more which makes easier making a living with society. People tend to prioritize their own families and not just themselves as individuals.

The law system is by court, with people involved with laws act as jury (high status not required).

*Law of continuous improvement: Aimed at the council. Basically, the council must deliver at least 2 important structures per year. Another option is to at least remodel an existing one and make another important building. (Necessary facilities like hospitals, factories, ports, etc. are considered important buildings.

*Law of fair spending: Aimed at the council. The council is given money to work, but that money must be spent to improve towns and cities. To accomplish this, they must request money with an estimate of the costs, where an imperial envoy will receive it and lend the money. Another envoy will be in charge to see that the money is actually being used in what they requested, so he will be following the work until it is finished, keeping an eye out for any irregularity.

History:

Many people have speculated about the vague history of the area. Markings on the carpet that have faded from the wear of time suggest that the area may have been used as what was called an 'office'. Since the room is so close to the outskirts, it is very cold compared to the rest of the places, along with the fact that it is in Canada. Many people in the past have been through this room. All are currently unnameable, as records have long been removed from the place.

When:

Nation was established on a fairly warm (compared to the other nights) night of January 6. January 7 is right around the corner.

Notable Laws:

Food prohibited. This is loosely enforced and is regularly broken.

Government:

Governed by those that own the areas around the place. The sole occupant lives under the guidance of the people of the outside realm, though the area is maintained and kept well by the occupant.

The Kingdom of Lemonia

Founded as a monarchy in the year 1 D.A where all of Western Europe would be up to the former Soviet Union territories.

History:

Following the end of the known world with the demon wars, the demon king Vemocleus established the Kingdom of Lemonia in order to restore those that remained with the peace and order they deserved after the horrific events of the war. It was not an easy road, but through their hardships, the people of the new Kingdom flourished.

Over the decades, Lemonia established itself as a magnificent beacon of hope and center of trade for the world. However, Lemonia was not the only country established after the demon wars. The new kingdom would find itself at odds with the Republic of Lime, situated where Eastern Europe would be.

First Lime War(43-45 D.A.):

Displeased with how the borders were set after the founding of both countries, the Republic of Lime eventually sought to increase their land by pushing the border back more than 50 miles toward Lemonia's capital. With war declared, Lemonia and Lime engaged in repeated skirmishes and battles along the border until at last both sides saw the futility of continuing the war and the border was settled at its original position. It was a sure victory for Lemonia, but the people who were already weary of war became all the more so.

(46-97 D.A.):

A long peace came to Lemonia at last. Economic stability would lead to a happy and industrious period for the kingdom. During this period, Lemonia became known far and wide as the most desirable place to live in the new world. The new riches and customs introduced to Lemonia brought about a cultural revolution. Famous people from this era are outlined below. Excellent yields of the chief export (lemons) ensured a boom at the end of the first century that would unfortunately only be stopped by the great lemon crash of 98.

The Lemon Crash and Depression(98-114 D.A.):

After the price of lemons plummeted and trade deals started going sour, life in Lemonia became much less glamorous. Lifestyles had to quickly change due to the contrast of earning from the years before. Lemonia lost some of its luster in the eyes of the world, even if it remained one of the most desirable countries on Earth. But while Lemonia was trying to fix itself on the way to recovery, the Republic of Lime had other, fouler plans...

Second Lime War(115-121 D.A.):

Seeing Lemonia's current state as an opportunity and a sign of weakness, Lime decided to fabricate a delicate situation in one of their border territories. Saying that poor Lemonians fleeing their kingdom were looting and killing in towns on Lime's side of the border, Lime created an excuse to retaliate and finally push the border back as they wanted long ago. And so, amidst a depression and a confusing series of allegations, the Republic of Lime began an invasion of the Kingdom of Lemonia. Lime pushed their way to their previously desired border and managed to hold onto that land for 3 long years before being pushed out by Lemonian forces. In the end, the border went right back to where it was before. Lime's cowardly actions at the start of the war were not revealed until the war's end.

(122 D.A - today):

The period after the second war and up to today is filled with more days of peace and moderate prosperity. However, one never knows just how and when Lime may strike again...

Jack Lemonbauer - Famous funnyman who also gained renown for stopping a dastardly terrorist plot from the Republic of Lime... all in 24 hours too!

Gerald Drops - Led the way for the Lemonian lemon to become the most celebrated lemon in the world. His catchy jingles and ad campaign were known to all.

Andrew Lloyd Lemon - Created the famous play during the cultural revolution: "Of Lemons and Men".

Lemon Revere - Warned Lemonians during the second Lime war: "The Limes are coming"!

General Lemonhauser - Led troops to victory during the first Lime war.

Government:

Though Vemocleus reigns supreme as the king of Lemonia, due to its large size the kingdom is split into multiple territories each with its own specific sets of lower leaders. This ensures that all parts of the land receive equal attention. If the leaders of any territory are opposed by the people, Vemocleus will personally investigate and take action as necessary. This thorough response to the people's wants and needs has helped Vemocleus retain a firm grip on his popularity as a ruler.

Justice System:

Lemonia's police and criminal system are well maintained and a great asset to keeping order, especially at the border with the Republic of Lime. Though the lower courts typically handle the normal day to day running of the courts, Vemocleus will personally lend judgement to special or high-profile cases. Executions are very rare in Lemonia, and the worst judgments typically given are either banishment or life in prison. Lemonia is very tolerant of religious and personal varieties and holds many separate holidays and celebrations for many beliefs, events, and freedoms presented in the Kingdom.

Notable laws include:

"No defacing of public statues, unless it is somehow lemon-related."

"There shall be no insulting of strangers, unless it is the once-a-year beloved 'insult a stranger' holiday."

"All vehicles shall be a shade of yellow as tribute to the country. All others will be towed and stripped for parts."

"If you see suspicious activity, report to your local police station. If you see goblins and pink elephants, report to your doctor."

Language:

The Kingdom of Lemonia has a complex official writing system known as Baruukh. It consists of two scripts written overtop one another. The Bara script is the main solid script consisting of most of the message. The Unlo script, however, is a faded "background" script that sets intonation and more subtle effects, such as mood and more complex meanings and emotions. True Baruukh consists of both of these scripts simultaneously. While Unlo is commonly separated by many spacings, Bara is often continuous, rarely including spaces.

A rough example:

Roughly translated as "Long live the great Vemocleus, High Ruler of our glorious Kingdom of Lemonia!"

Many of the adjectives here (such as 'great' and 'glorious' are merely inferred by the Unlo "background" script, and not actually a word in itself. Only in the spoken language are more direct words used to describe something.

Economy:

The currency of Lemonia is strongly influenced by its chief export, and is called the Lemon Drop, or "Drop" for short. For the majority of Lemonia's existence, the Lemon Drop has remained as one of the strongest currencies of the new world. It is only at its lowest point, during the depression, that the value has forced a drop to #5 in the world's currencies. Lemons are the main cause of Lemonia's prosperity, and the quality of this export is known well throughout the world. If a lemon hasn't come from Lemonia, it is visibly subpar. Because of this, there are few outside the kingdom who attempt to make a cheaper, less quality lemon trade.

Technology:

As one of the more prosperous nations, and a great center of trade, Lemonia has access to the most sophisticated technology located around the globe. Though many techs were unfortunately lost during the demon wars and electricity is scarce and limited, Lemonia has leading current technologies. This includes military equipment for its defense on the eastern borders with Lime (machine guns, tanks, ammunition stockpiles), to more artistic technologies, such as simple film projection that runs entirely on the wonderful sun-powered battery technology. It is partly these advances that make Lemonia one of the most desirable places to live in the world.

Education:

The Kingdom of Lemonia prides itself on proper education. Young children are given every chance to thrive and succeed in various capacities. Though many of the classic respected occupations exist and are very good paths to take, one of the most surprisingly respected paths is that of the lemon farmer. Orchards of lemon trees can earn the respect of an entire community, and often in some circles, the number of lemon trees directly corresponds to your wealth, power, and influence. Truly, in Lemonia, the lemon is a wonderfully powerful fruit.
