While we’re developing Project Genome, we’ve decided to tell you about the Main Island where May and you are going to have an adventure on. Today the story is going to be about the Growlers! One of the most powerful, in every way, Tribe on the Island. Their members, known as Tigers in our world, are strong in spirit, so their will guides them towards a better future. However, it’s a double-edged sword. Most of them are too serious in most of the situations and quite violent, especially when it comes to defending the Tribe and its members. But it doesn’t prevent them from participating in the Grand Booze Day every year where they just fight each other until one person isn’t knocked out. Frankly, that event is so much fun even though it sounds traumatic, because it’s mostly a fight of hearts and friendship. Even such a fierce and fearless Tribe has something they’re afraid of… it’s the Flame God. When something unexpected happens every Growler calls out the Flame God as if it was a swear, funny right? And there’s one thing every Growler, and even their God, loves - Orgy. Orgies are something that only a chief of Growlers can start and end. Every woman in the Tribe knows that being able to show off their perfect body to the chief is an important rule they have to follow to have a great life! Their chief, Rage, is one of a kind. Some of the Growlers still wonder how he became the chief since he can’t stand dealing with the problems of the Tribe. However, his contribution to the growth of the Tribe is priceless since Rage alone is capable of not only bringing fear to other Tribes but also helping everyone solve their problems during the Growlers’ so-called Council. You just can’t imagine what ridiculous events happen during the Council! Would you dare to participate in the Grand Booze Day? As you know, Tanuki (or Raccoons in general) are quite cunning and sly, and it’s partially related to the Pilfers, however, if you look closely, you’ll see some unexpected details in their characters and looks. Let’s take Melfy for example. She tries to look shy while talking but her outfit speaks for itself: “I want sex!” And when she drinks, wow, the pleasure she gives you makes you completely forget about your problems or even wounds. You know why she’s like that, right? Mysterious girls are essential for crazy relationships, especially in Project Genome. When you visit the Pilfers Tribe, you’ll be amazed how playful and easy-going everyone is not only to Pilfers themselves but to every other tribe and foreigners. It’s a totally normal thing to go out for work on a Monday morning and see a group of children fighting with wooden swords, telling each other scary stories about Pilfers BBQ, or playing catch-up with a huge and dangerous forest golem. But it’s not always like that. You’ll be doomed if you try to know something about Pilfer they don't want you to know. Just like Melfy’s age. In the best case scenario, you’ll get hit with a pan or she’ll make you pay with your sharp tongue. When you’re playing Russian Roulette it’s always like that, so make sure to play better! Flaw failed once and got18+! We haven’t introduced you to the Tribe Chief since it’s not the time yet. They will have a magnificent story to share when May finally comes to see them. Just you wait for Project Genome to come out and see what May and her adventures have to offer. By the way, even now Pilfers’ children are playing hide-and-seek with you! We’re here this beautiful Sunday to tell you about the development of Project Genome! Firstly, we’d like to thank you all for following and supporting us. Your help is what makes us continue making the game with a smile on our faces! Secondly, recently we’ve got some issues with programming, however we were able to overcome them and now we’re back on track stronger than ever! So, today our team would like to share some of the items that we’re planning to use as Equipment for the characters in battle, as Quest items, and as Mini games interface. You’re going to love what kind of stuff all these things are able to do! As for the Project Genome’s state, it’s doing great! We’re done with everything that’s needed for the first version of the game. This includes: 30k words of plot for you to fully experience the world of the game! 2 huge interactive animated adult scenes with choices that matter! 3 large main quests and more than 20 side quests to get to know the characters’ problems! 7 types of completely different mini games so you don’t get bored! Immersing roguelike mode and combat system to let you dive into the game even deeper! Open world map for 2 first main locations (one of them is even divided in two since it’s too big) for you to explore! However, now all we need is to compile it all together with the help of our programmer. When we’re ready, we’re going to share the release date, the bonuses all of you get by downloading the game, and the benefits our subscribers are going to get! P.S. Right now we’re working hard to make a fully interactive and playable Combat System as it’s the most complicated thing in our game. Yesterday and today we managed to test out the alpha Build and even find some things that need to be changed. They’re mostly on the interface side, we really want the game experience to be smooth and beautiful so you could say “Wow!” when you see it! All the internal systems, effects and animations work as intended, and all sounds are gorgeous. Our main task here is to make it all look good not only for us but for all of you and on a screen with any resolution. When we’re ready, there will be a video showcase of how battles are played and how to interact with everything on the combat screen. AND, when the Combat is ready the rest is quite easy to make. In our estimation, Project Genome is going to come out even sooner than we planned! Thank you for reading and for the support. All the main characters are going to have several special poses for different emotions AND they will look directly into each other's eyes while talking! That’s so sweet! You know, it’s so fun writing these posts when you know how the development is going - you want to tell everything but you can’t since it’s going to ruin all anticipation! However, it doesn’t mean we’re here with nothing. Firstly, we’d like to remind you about our Previous Post and about the huge work that we managed to do for you to enjoy our game even more. We highly recommend you to read it! Secondly, we’re done with programming the interface and with the randomly generated map for our Roguelike mode! The funny story - when we finished with them, it went as smoothly as it possibly could and then we thought “what a progress, hopefully everything is going to be like this”. Yes, after that we faced the Combat System that is supposed to be simple… it seems like the easier you make something for people the harder it is in development. Noted. Thirdly, we’ve finished implementing gameplay into the Adult Scenes! That includes several types of animations for different poses in the scenes, animated emotions, and interactive scenery with choices for you to decide how to play with your “toy”! In particular, we’re adding open-world maps for every region of the Island and we’re adding interactive points, events, quests, and artifacts on them for you to have lots of fun playtime with. The most important thing here is the Items that can help you get through the story and get much more information and lore about the world of the game. During the exploration you’re going to encounter lots of different quests (and not that type of quests where you need to kill 10 boars, no, actual different quests), and with the help of the open world map and various items your adventure is going to become immersing and diversified. Every single thing you find is meaningful and can allow you to befriend with someone or to someone if you know what we mean. That’s crucial for us to create a rewarding experience, the gameplay that will feel light, immersive, enjoyable, and most importantly loved by you. That’s why we’re going to start giving away the alpha build of the game to you as soon as it’s fully playable so you could give us super valuable feedback, thus we could create the perfect Project Genome together! Now it’s about our favorite mini games. Everyone loves mini games. Especially when they’re fun, don’t take much time, and don’t ruin the narration. We’re doing our best to make them exactly like that. Now we’re showing you the most interesting ones: “Rhythm battle”, “Your Own Story”, and “Dead end”. 1. “Rhythm battle” is, as the name suggests, a rhythm game. You’ll need to fight various characters in a musical battle, pressing the correct buttons at correct times following the rhythm. Yours truly just love such games, we couldn’t avoid making our own version and weaving it into the story. 2. “Your Own Story” is a game where you’d need to expose May's talent in writing articles about pretty much everything. You’ll choose what May should write to make the article the most epic or funny thing ever. The choice is yours! The most interesting articles are going to be put in the Fame Wall across all our social media so everyone will know how creative you are! 3. In the “Dead end” you play as Chibi May and try to complete all the missions and press the red button to save Ro from troubles. But when May tries to move, she’ll go right until the first obstacle without stopping. That’s not as bad as you think, when walking May will smash enemy robots or will collect Ro when bumping into them. 1 move is 1 step, so spend them wisely. And don’t stop at the enemy’s gunsight, that can end badly. You can try to solve the “Dead end” level we’ve prepared for you. If you manage to do it in 8 turns, you’re a genius! It was fun! Especially when we were trying to make text look colorful and beautiful. That mostly refers to descriptions, flavor texts, and names. Our main focus right now is in the Roguelike mode. We want to create a smooth experience when exploring maps, discovering new artifacts, slaying monsters and bosses, interacting with other characters, and doing quests. That’s especially tricky when you play it yourself and look at the game from the players’ point of view. That’s why we’re polishing all the minor (at first sight) things so every one of you don’t even think about things that can even remotely bother or disturb you. One thing that’s coming on our schedule is Adult Scenes . We’ve got so many different animations and interactive elements that it even blows our own mind! As you can see on the preview, May and Rage love spending time together. And you’ll be able to enjoy that as well right now. What would you like May to do with Rage’s d*ck? Right now, according to tradition, we’re doing our best to test out most of the them to get rid of those annoying issues that can make playing the game unenjoyable. As for the Plot and Adult Scenes we’ve talked about recently, we’ve been doing simulations of how they should be presented for the best experience, and we’re on the right track! Our Writer together with the Gamedesigner used lots of their time to make every single piece of dialog perfect, thus not only the text itself but the presentation are going to impress you. Especially the Poses and characters’ movements during their speech, there will be plenty of vivid conversations to dive into. When creating the content, it’s very important to make sure you’re going to play it in one breath enjoying every single aspect of it. We’re talking about interactivity right now. When you have options to choose from, when you have gameplay to do, when you have rewards to get, that is what makes the game a game. And the Adult Scenes are no exception. To make sure you’re going to like them, we widened the idea of our scenes and added even more interactions into them. You'll be able to have an impact on how the scene is going and what the characters are doing and how it comes to an end. You’ll have plenty of time to have fun with what you need right now by using just one hand. That’s how simple and cool it’s going to be!
