Monogatari Series

Only Nisemonogatari is slow paced I think, maybe Tsubasa's arcs too but not even that much. Otherwise it's really not slow. Plus, characters are constantly talking so there's not even any void or anything (although that can participate in making you sleepy).

Delivered everything and anything you could expect.

 

This series manages to impress me every single time despite it being mostly just talking.

But hey we had a beautiful shower scene, Shaft never disappoints with shower scenes.

 

Also, not so subtle foreshadowing

Kagenui is so fabulous sometimes with that balance standing. Along with Gaen doing stuff before it even happen...

Also, Down: Monogatari was all about the dialogue and artstyle anyway. I don't think a lot of people actually watched the show for its story (even though I personally think the overarching story is actually pretty well written).

 

I personally preferred Hanamonogatari because to be honest I'm starting to get tired of Araragi just a little bit (yeah I'm ashamed to admit it  ).

The park and the starry sky scene are both top 10 anime moments for me.
