rannar99
I sure do hope FrontWing isn't planning to make KS campaign to localize this work

So I'm looking forward to this new title Edited September 27, 2022 by adamstan
littleshogun
Late to comment here. As for Ginka itself, to be honest I'm pretty much indifferent seeing that we still don't know much of it, other than it's the possible sequel/prequel/alternative version of ATRI here. That said, at least I know the art here is quite good looking so at least there's one thing to look forward into. Also seeing that we got ATRI simultaneous release, Frontwing may do the same with Ginka later (At least it's easier than managing the bug in Sharin from what I can understand). PS - As far as I remember, Frontwing didn't use KS to crowdfund ATRI but instead they got the fund from Aniplex. Whether it'll be the same or not we'll see. adamstan
Yay! finally it's here There release is scheduled for tomorrow - 2023-10-26 on DLSite, DMM and Steam. And, like ATRI, it will be multi-language release. Description from Steam page: Quote "GINKA", Frontwing's latest visual novel, is brought to you by a talented creative team that includes Asta Konno and Yusano, the duo behind "ATRI -My Dear Moments-". Story Five years ago, Aoba Ryusei's childhood friend, Shinomiya Ginka, disappeared without a trace on the night of the summer festival. The superstitious islanders believed this to be an act of God, saying that she was "spirited away." Now in high school, Ryusei decides to visit the island over summer break. He needs to know: Did Ginka ever come back? Could she be living a normal high school life? Sadly, his faint hopes are crushed when he learns that Ginka was never seen again after that night. He dejectedly prepares to depart, but then he meets a young girl who looks exactly like his missing childhood friend― Ginka. "Welcome back, Ryusei." The girl doesn't know her own name. All she knows is that she loves Ryusei. Where has she been? Why hasn't she aged? Finally reunited with his long lost friend, Ryusei vows to have the best summer vacation ever on the tranquil little island of his childhood. littleshogun
And now it's been available in English, so feel free to try it and have fun. By the way, looks like it's quite popular from what I see on Steam, and also it's available in English with apparently not really related to ATRI. In the end, I just hope that Frontwing keep it up with licensing VNs instead of keep making Sharin updates even though it supposed to calm the backer who've been waiting for years. PS - Turned out that Aniplex didn't involved in Ginka, which make sense seeing that they've been busy with upcoming Mahoyo Steam version.
