What Video Games Are You Playing Right Now?

I finished both Amnesia games a while ago and went to check out Borderlands 2 on Steam, since they put it for free this weekend. I was actually looking for something to test my new system, since I moved from XP few days ago, tho I'm already tempted to get it permanently; I really liked the first game and second seems like a great sequel.

Aside from that, I went back to Minecraft with 64bits. Back then I could play anything besides vanilla MC (which is horribly bland and boring) and lightly modded clients. Currently I'm playing on the biggest modpack from the FTB (Monster), and the game didn't crashed even once. I'm really glad, since modded Minecraft is something entirely different and Monster has definately a lot to offer.

More like, "What I played".

Last week I finished in a row all four first .hack// Games, the .hack//I.M.O.Q. Saga is quite the thing!

Basically, to my completion list, .hack//Infection, .hack//Mutation, .hack//Outbreak and .hack//Quarantine have been added.

Now I'm completing everything that has to do with .hack// Project before starting with Conglomerate Project (Roots, G.U.), like, reading the light novels, etc... the only ones that are left before starting Conglomerate are the last two volumes of .hack//Another Birth and .hack//Alcus (manga)

Therefore, I guess I could say... that I'm playing the G.U., or that I'm going to play really soon, or whatever.

You're like, my hero right now <3 Those have to be among my favorite RPGs of the PS2 era. Was just going through another playthrough of the IMOQ games myself, though I've never had the chance to actually own Quarantine, since it's gotten rather pricey these days.

Asides from .hack// though, I've been attempting to play LoZ Wind Waker HD....Attempting, because I can't really get into it, which saddens me, since I've heard it's supposed to be rather good. It doesn't seem to have that same spark that drew me to OoT, TP, SS... I dunno, hopefully it gets better as I go on.

Beat the Fire Temple in Ocarina of Time, and made some more progress on Minish Cap.  I love Zelda games  :3

I've only played Ocarina of Time, but I really like it too. I can never finish the game though! I played the original N64 version of it years ago (not sure how long), and I cleared the Forest Temple as adult Link. Then I picked it up later again when I got the 3DS version, and cleared the Water Temple. Haven't gone farther than that though. I promised myself I'd never use a guide or outside help to beat this game, but that can make it tiresome. I don't plan on breaking anytime soon, though.

Taking a break from digital devil saga to play this. The first Tales of Symphonia has the best dub in a tales game imo. Don't know about dawn of the new world since I haven't played it yet. I suck at taking pictures I know.

DotNW has some of the best jokes IMO but a lot of people don't like it.  Mostly due to Laura Bailey's extremely shrill voice as Marta.  And Emil.

Here's a good example of all of them:

Playing through Catherine again for the other endings, and still working through Persona 4 Golden

Yes and Yes.

Well, I think it's pretty damn fun.  Kinda hard to find a decent source of info only about Persona 4, not Persona 4 Golden, so that's been a little irritating, but other than that, I've been having a blast.  I've been balancing the social aspects decently, I think, and I saved right before fighting Shadow Yukiko on Day 28.  Not quite sure how to go around beating her, since she wiped the floor with me.  I haven't tried to fuse personas or use another persona besides Izanagi.  Any tips?  I think I have Slime and Angel from Shuffle Time, and possibly a few others I don't remember.

Brosuke is epic.  Yosuke Strike = OP.

EDIT: Herp derp Yukiko ≠ Yumiko

Use Personas that have Bufu(ice skill) since Shadow Yukiko(not Yumiko this ain't Grisaia ^^) is weak to ice, be careful when using chie because of her weakness to fire. If you can try to fuse a persona to be strong against fire attacks and be able to use bufu. Don't forge to use the compendium to register personas to summon them alter for fusing/using/etc..

Damn, why must those two names be so similar?  Dx

Okay, thanks.  I've been kinda wary about fusing, since the description Igor gave me basically said, "If you fuse two personas together that don' have the same the same fighting style, it's gonna suck".  Is that true?  Haven't looked up much about it.

What you must notice when fusing is the inherited skills, they appear in red. They don't level up by fusing but by the S. Link level(and fighting ofc), so for example a level 1 Fool S.link would give a 1 level bonus(roughly) to any Fool persona you are fusing. The rest doesn't matter for shit.

I always thought things got easier as you went, aside from one or two fights because you lack all the necessary money, items and a full party (specifically healer).

Here's a few good pointers:

  • Fuse personas that you have a high social link rank in.  You get bonus EXP and the persona levels up once for every odd number of levels.  You can equip fused personas that are higher than you're own level, which can be an advantage.
  • SP is everything, conserve if possible.
  • I tried to do dungeons as soon as they were available for 2-3 days and then used the rest of the time to max social links.  I think it's the best approach.  Make sure you have Go-homo items to exit (you can return to the same floor the next day).
  • Buffing skills are your best friend.  Dekaja is your very best friend.  Yosuke has both of them, therefore he is your very very best friend.
  • Boost and Amp skills do stack.
  • Try to keep a balanced party (aka not all weak to the same element).  As you probably know, knocking down is key and getting knocked down is a sure way to lose quickly.  Guarding can prevent this and eventually you'll get items to increase dodge rates.
  • The game ends in December for the most part and most social links stop then as well so plan accordingly.
  • Do the Justice and Heriophant social links as fast as you can.

Just finished Persona 4. What an amazing game. Story wise I liked Persona 3 FES (Which I played and finished last week) a bit more but everything else was better especially the gameplay, love that I could control all the characters now although the AI seemed pretty smart in exploiting weaknesses in P3.

And coincidentally I named my character Yuu without even remembering the name he had in the anime (which I have seen when it came out)

I don't have a PSVita to play P4 Golden so next I'm gonna play SMT: Digital Devil Saga series and SMT: Nocturne. (I played using the PS2 emulator for PC :D)

I feel like everyone's AI experience was different.  For me, Yukari and Junpei did everything I wanted them to do, Mitsuru was Mitsuru and Aigis and Akihiko did the dumbest things I could image.  But I've heard cases of it being the reverse.

I'm currently going back and playing all the story modes I never finished in P4 Arena so that I'm ready for the new game.

So...looked up tips for fighting Shadow Yukiko, and I think I'm gonna fuse Slime and Apsaras into Orobas (since I can't seem to find one in Shuffle Time  >.>) and have him learn Red Wall.  Then I'm gonna grind the hell out of Yukiko's Castle so he'll be strong enough to fight Shadow Yukiko.  My plan is coming to fruition.

EDIT: Got an Orobas with Red Wall and Evil Touch, with the Magician Social Link of 4 (automatically gained 2 levels) and on a stat boosting day.  Awww yeah.

Btw the Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare tried it out on PC for free. The game was fun for about the first 3 hours... After that it was rinse and repeat and not the fun kind.

Yeah, that's kinda what I thought it would be like.  Watched a few reviews, and some of the character class abilities looked pretty fun, but everything else has pretty much already been done before.  Was I right about it seeming to be a combination of CoD and TF2 with a PvZ re-skin?  Kinda curious.

Beat Shadow Yukiko after around 2 hours of grinding to get the last ability for Orobas.  Thought I was gonna die when I realized I forgot to use Red Wall on Chie and S.Y. used Burn to Ashes.  I think the Eye of Flame accessory I found and equipped on her saved my ass that time.  Too close for comfort.

More like Gotham City Impostors than anything. Which by the way was an amazing shooter PvZ just doesn't pull off the vibe.
