Batman and Harry Dresden teaming up? Unfortunately I feel like Batman would be out of his league.

HARRY DRESDEN — WIZARD
Lost Items Found. Paranormal Investigations.
Consulting. Advice. Reasonable Rates.
No Love Potions, Endless Purses, Parties or Other Entertainment

I can't see Batman going to see a self-proclaimed wizard, so they would have to run into each other during a case. Batman sees Harry apparently using magic and attempts to uncover the sleight-of-hand and deception behind it all. He tails him, observing everything from small pixie battalions armed with box cutters to elf-like women rising out of the water of a lake.

In the end Batman approaches Harry and becomes his apprentice. Can you imagine how scary Batman could be if he could use magic?

To answer the questions posed:

Favorite Series?: The Dresden Files - Jim Butcher
What changes?: Batman becomes a wizard.
How much does he affect the ending?Batman becomes a Wizard.
Am I the worst fanfic writer ever?Batman becomes a Wizard in my story. So no.
Can I tell you're running out of ideas?: I can tell that you think you're running out of ideas. However, given the challenges we've had so far I think there's a lot more in store for us ^_^

The lady Or the Tiger Or the Batman.

There once was a barbaric king whose trials were settled when the accused was forced into an arena and had to decide between two doors. One door would have a ferocious tiger, the other a woman they would marry; one day the king caught her daughter in a love affair with a commoner, so he was sentenced to the arena.

Before the trial the princess found out which was behind each door, so she told her lover. But she had mixed feelings, she didn't want her lover to die at the hands of a tiger, but she also didn't want to see him with another woman. The day of the trial came, and he opened the door according to the princess's advice.

When it opened he had closed his eyes out of fear, then he look inside; there he was shocked to find that there was a tiger in the room that the princess told him to pick, but he was even more shocked to see a tall man wearing black wrestle the tiger.

He watched in amazement as the man in black got the tiger into a choke hold, and that's when he realized that Batman was wrestling the tiger behind the door. Batman was in the middle of holding the tiger in a full nelson, when he saw the man watching the the fight from the doorway."Nothing to see here." said Batman in his deep voice. The man then slowly closed the door, and then walked towards the other one.

I guess Batman affects the ending to this story just as much as anyone (Not much...).

In terms of fan-fiction, I've read much worse, and also when I first read this story as a school assignment we had to come up with our own ending, that's when I've heard worse versions. And yes I can tell that you are running out of ideas, but at least you are trying.

Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Raskolnikov murders the Pawnbroker and her sister, only to be quickly tracked down and apprehended by Batman during his state of delirium. Because of this, he fails to meet Sonya and thusly never finds love or redemption. He grows to be a bitter, defeated man while imprisoned in Siberia. He never overcomes his nihilism.

Probably a less meaningful story this way.

Are you the worst fanfic writer ever?

I wouldn't go that far.

Can you tell I'm running out of ideas?

Just a little bit.

Insert Batman into your favorite story. What changes? How much does he affect the ending? Are you the worst fanfic writer ever? Can you tell I'm running out of ideas?

I would insert Batman into William Golding's Lord of the Flies.

I'd say the story changes quite a bit as people probably wouldn't die as Batman would come save them.

The ending would not have the same impact as the whole loss of innocence part is toned down.

Probably.

Yes.

This might be stupid idea and totally not work, but we'll see how this turns out hehe.  Batman as Conan the Barbarian. (inspired by the 1982 movie featuring Arnold Scharzenegger.)

----------

Between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of. And unto this, Batman, destined to wear the jeweled crown of Aquilonia upon a troubled brow. It is I, his chronicler, who alone can tell thee of his saga. Let me tell you of the days of high adventure!

He was but a child at the time.  His name was Bruce Wayne then.  His father was telling him about Crom and the power of the bat.

"Fire and wind come from the sky, from the gods of the sky, but Crom is your god. Crom, and he lives in the earth. Once giants lived in the earth, Bruce, and in the darkness of chaos, they fooled Crom, and they took from him the enigma of the Bat. Crom was angered, and the earth shook, and fire and wind struck down these giants, and they threw their bodies into the waters. But in their rage, the gods forgot the secret of the Bat and left it on the battlefield, and we who found it. We are just men, not gods, not giants, just men. And the secret of the bat has always carried with it a mystery. You must learn its riddle, Bruce, you must learn its discipline, for no one, no one in this world can you trust, not men, not women, not beasts... This you can trust. --"  Bruce's father was pointing at a batarang.

Shortly after, Bruce's village was attacked by Thulsa Doom and his army, killing all, but taking children as slaves.  Bruce had to watch as Thulsa Doom himself picked up his mother's batarang and killed her with it.  Bruce was then led to a place where he was tied to a large poll with other slaves and made to push a large wooden handle, turning around the poll.  It was hard labor, strenghtening Bruce's body as he eventualy was the last one left turning the wheel.  After that he was thrown into the arena, where he triumphed with his natural abilities.  He was then taught the ways of battle by a foreign master and one day he was released, thrown into the wild with his chains still on.  As he was running away from wolves, he came upon a dark cave in the cliffs.  As his eyes were adjusting to the darkness, he stumbled upon something.  It seemd like an old skeleton in a batlike suit, laid on a throne, with a batarang in his hand, covered in a thick layer of dust.  Bruce had remembered. This was the power of Crom, the way of the Bat.  He would use the ancient ways of his people, and prowl the night like a bat to get his revenge on Thulsa Doom.  He would now be Batman.

Batman had many adventures after that, teaming up with his sidekick Subotai the archer thief and later sneaking in one of Thulsa Doom's serpent temples along with the blond warrior thief Valeria, of whom he became enamored.  It was then that King Osric contacted the Batman and his companions.  He offered them as much gold as they could ever dream off, in exchange for rescuing his daughter, who he suspected was being brainwashed to kill him by the cult of Thulsa Doom.  Batman used an advance on the gold to construct a batcave in the cliffs, which he would use as his base of operations.  He preferred working alone on this mission, favoring stealth.

None of the evil wizard's minions saw the Batman as he snuck into their fortress, took out Thulsa Doom from behind, and stealthily went back out with the unconscious princess.

Warning: Katawa Shoujo // Hanako spoilers

Bruce Wayne. Billionaire playboy, industrialist, philanthropist. Batman.
Hisao Nakai. Heart attack victim, depressed, pathetic. Lost.

Bruce practically radiates an aura of power as he paces about what little space is available in my room.

I'm curled up in my bed. Frankly, I feel like I don't want to get up again. Ever.

I let out a dry laugh, tempered by both desperation and a burgeoning feeling of self-hatred.

I met Bruce as he did a routine inspection of the school. At the time, I had no idea he was one of our major contributors. Strolling down the corridor, he saw me in my personal hour of twilight: I had just been driven out of Hanako's room. The face she made as she declared her hatred of me has been burnt into my mind[a].
"...Fuck!"
I pound the wall with my fist.

Hanako rejecting me this strongly has made me realize just how much I treasure her. Seeing that smile of hers -- Hell, just being near her.
I didn’t think about this before. I didn't dare. After all, Hanako is fragile. Could she handle a confession? Would she just shut me out forever?

Where did I go wrong?

Batman is wearing his signature outfit at the moment. Apparently, it helps him think. The fact that he changed into it in my room is slightly disturbing, but I'll let it slide. For all I know, he might be my only chance. He is a playboy after all -- while his relationships might have been more shallow than what I'm looking for, he should hopefully know how to steal a woman's heart. Well, at this point I'm beginning to think just about anyone would do better than me in this department.

Batman stops pacing, and turns to face me. He courteously removes his face-mask.

"Alright. I think I know what to do."
"Okay."
"This information is partly based on an extensive surveillance operation, including security cameras in both yours and Hanako's room."
I suppose he really is prepared, no matter what.
"I feel I must add that I did not watch her changing clothes, or perpetrate similar invasions of privacy. Do not worry."
A rather suspicious denial. Oh well.
"My analysis of the situation has led me to believe that Hanako is a more complex character than you might think. Certainly, she's bad with people. However, your current social dynamic is infantilizing her, causing conflicting feelings. In a way, she likely appreciates your efforts to help her. However, your attempts to help only worsen an already severe inferiority complex. Whatever's left of her self-worth is thus shattered by your ministrations. It’s no wonder she’s begun to resent you."

Bruce pauses briefly. Considering the amount of complicated words he’s using , I am grateful.

"It is my belief that Hanako is suffering a severe conflict of feelings at the moment. I suppose this is a 'love him, hate him' situation. Unfortunately, if you approach her in a conventional way, she will likely lash out in anger. In all likelihood, however, she will soon suffer from cognitive dissonance, after she cools down a bit. If we can tip the scales at that point, we may be able to mellow her out considerably. I suggest we wait until tomorrow. I will then give you further instructions.”

It takes me a long time to digest Batman's words. I'm not sure if I want to believe him at this point. If what he says is true, my recent actions have mostly served to hurt Hanako.

I feel like shit.

I begin to analyze everything I've done with Hanako so far. I remember how, after our little party in Lilly's room, I escorted her back to her room. How I kept my distance when she tried to hug me.[c]

Rejection.

I suppose I thought she wasn't ready for this -- but was that just a rationalization of my own insecurities? Was I afraid to take responsibility?

I remember her disappointment afterwards.

I think back to other times. I think of when she tried to tell me about her past. I was trying to be considerate, to not force her to do something uncomfortable -- or was I, really? Did I try to stop her for another reason?

Hell, what I did was shut her out. I...couldn't take it.

Rejection.

In the end, I guess I haven't treated Hanako like a person.

I've treated her like a pet.

I was planning to continue this, but unfortunately I just realized that batman imposes a 24h limit on these challenges. Since I have stuff (grisaia) to do, I guess this will have to do.

Actually, since this is a week challenge, not a daily one, you should have 48 hours to get 5 points.

Insert Batman into your favorite story. What changes? How much does he affect the ending? Are you the worst fanfic writer ever? Can you tell I'm running out of ideas?

Batman in persona 3

He defeats all of the bosses by himself and saves the world, all in one night.

The ending is affected, since protag never gets his persona and the main characters didn't have to do anything.

I'm not the worst fanfic ever, since I'm not the one who wrote "My Immortal".

I can tell you're running out of ideas, since you suggested it.

My favorite story...

So for this one, I'm going to roll with the Moonlight Bay series by Dean Koontz. (Fear Nothing, Seize the Night, the still not written Ride the Storm)

If Batman managed to wander into this series, I think the power of cold hard cash and tech would change it quite a bit.

First of all, Christopher Snow has Xeroderma Pigmentosum, basically dude can't go into the light. I'm positive his buddy Batman would whip up some super baller suit to protect Chris' sensitive skin, letting travel during daylight be possible, thus progressing the story much faster.

If that alone doesn't end the story in one novel, as opposed to three, then the fact that he's freaking batman and would simply pursue the mystery of the town without any worries, coming to the conclusion that the evil monkeys are chilling out by the military base and going straight in without any doubts and fighting any that get in his way, will.

Those events passing by that much quicker, the third novel wouldn't even need to be written and Batman would actually let the ending happen. That's a pretty big change.

The tense situations Chris gets into, putting his life in danger, having to sneak around everywhere... Yeah, Batman doesn't need any of that, he'd turn it into a pure action story and answer every question so fast, the Scooby Doo crew would just stick to their day jobs waiting for Batman to visit their universe.

TL;DR ~

What changes? - Pretty much the entire mood of the story.

How much does he affect the ending? - The ending actually happens.

Are you the worst fanfic writer ever? - Perhaps.

Can you tell I'm running out of ideas? - See previous answer.

The Lord of the Bats

Three Bats for the Bat-men hiding on caves,

Seven for the lolis in their halls of cuteness,
Nine for Mortal Men destined to post in this thread,

One for the Dark Solidbatman on his dark throne
In the Land of Fuwanovel where the Novels lie.
One Bat to rule them all, One Bat to find them,
One Bat to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of the Contest, where the posts lie.

What changes? - Almost everything.

How much does he affect the ending? - Drastically. I mean, bats. Freaking bats.

Are you the worst fanfic writer ever? - For sure.

Can you tell I'm running out of ideas? - Maybe yo do, maybe you don't - we'll see.

This is turning pretty hard, I almost can't keep up with the franticness of this week.

Also, if I'm tied for third place until now, why my name isn't highlighted? Could be just a mistake, but just to make sure there's complete fairness ;)

Probably just batman getting lazy, I think. He may have failed to notice or just made it for aesthetic purposes. I don't know if he checks all of the spoilers all of the time(since there's so many of them) so you might want to send him a pm~

Today I learned, I suck at scoring.

Nah, it's been hectic the past couple days so I've been rushing through things. By all means, if you notice a mistake, let me know. The sooner it's caught, the easier to correct.

Fixed the scores. http://puu.sh/4X6b7.png  All good now? Good.

Week Four

Thank goodness that week is over. Might have been harder on me than you guys. So because of that, I realize I must reverse the roles.

Not gender roles. solidbatmaid is not going to happen, no matter how hard you try. What was I saying? Oh yeah, something something Week Four Challenge. So what is it?

For Week Four, you must create an album of songs! I want the album name, at least ten song titles, and a short description of each song! 3 bonus points if you draw the CD cover! An unspecified amount of bonus points if you actually write a song and record you singing it (The amount of points for this bonus drops for each person that does it). We are back to weekly rules. Within 48 hours is 5 points, 96 hours is 3 points, and after 96 hours, 1 point.

You people and your what ifs -_- Songs with no effort will not grab the bonus points. I am the ultimate judge of this and will decide on my own discretion. Should I find that you used a pre-existing song, you will be disqualified.

Album name: The Solidbatman: Memorial Collection

1. Solidbatman's Final Battle

A very sick rock song with lyrics that could very well represent solidbatman's battle with his archnemesis and ultimate demise.

2. Solidbatman's Final Battle (Instrumental)

For those of us that don't like distracting lyrics during an amazing battle scene.

3. Solidbatman's Epiphany

A sad soliloquy to the backtrack of a heart touching violin solo.

4. Solidbatman's Last Words

A slow and touching piano piece accompanied by Solidbatman's final words.

5. Solidbatman: The Golden Days

A heart wrenching piece played by an orchestra while a song is sung with the recollection of Solidbatman's achievements.

6. Solidbatman: The Golden Days (Instrumental)

Who needs more than the full orchestra playing?

7. Solidbatman: Childhood Blues

Every album needs a touching combination of Jazz and vocals of an earlier childhood.

8. Solidbatman's Returns

Cue the epic background music filled with hard rock as Solidbatman returns. (A superhero never dies)

9. The Victory

After all that, the only thing left is the orchestra returning to play the victory music as Solidbatman returns and defeats the villain.

10. Solidbatman: Theme Song(Live)

Finally, we come to Solidbatman's theme song which is sung live by Solidbatman on his livestream.
