potentially slow as fukk because of him being at the same time responsible for like half of mangagamer + x, though maggot baits doesn´t really progress that much at snail pace, at least when compared to your average non arunaru-esque dude

Not to mention that things like "internal-only schedules" scream of endless delays and lack of decent planning by default, they don't exist because life is good and aren't really widespread outside western vn-publishers.

Err, what? Every decent business in every industry develops projects based on internal schedules that are only rarely exposed to the public.

Not at all, he is just very busy and hence translates, well, slowly. Which saddens me immensely when MG sometimes gives him games that are pretty long like Da Capo 3.

Just like every decent business also usually has release windows and timeframes, not simply announcing release dates a month or several weeks prior, you are completely missing the point.

I'm also tired of repeating that I'm not hating on MG, people always react painfully at these small personal opinions concerning the company. I love MG for what they've done for the scene and won't start hating on them without a reason even if someday they'll end up completely disregarding plotge/eroge in favor of nukige, otome, yuri and BL.

If anything, at least Mangagamer keep pumping the release monthly as of now so it wouldn't look too bad, at least for now. Also most of their releases is bigger compared to Sekai, so it's a bit understandable that they probably need some planning before the release - keep in mind that it's just my conjecture though.

@Hetzer123 As for prejudiced that I say in regard of VN, it was in regard of people who treat VN as a porn games, so naturally people would interested with it. Therefore, some people who think that probably think that VN is a porn game and therefore they chose to buy nukige. While the prejudice about VN is worked out, it's still quite prevalent for some people though. And yeah, some people also think that VN should have the gameplay because of the pricing, which is quite hard to worked out there.

@Wildbreed For the rating, it was quite subjective of me here. But seeing that I've been interested with Fureraba (I think it's good enough) and they already worked hard to make sure that Sanoba will be released at October later, I'm sure that they can do well enough. Also in regard of the localization itself, I believe that they'll do well in Sanoba since Decay himself was involved in that. For Sol Press himself, well they keep delaying the release date so they may came as untrustworthy here, although perhaps I should gave them some slack as well seeing that they'd willing to improve Sakusakura scaling, their announcements tends to be smaller compared to Nekonyan though. Oh and as for Phantom Trigger I saw it as Frontwing's milking attempt so I'm not quite into that, but I agree that Island itself is a big release.

you sure love using those harsh words, eh? dunno if it´s intended or just poorly/unlucky worded, but i think the statement as a whole comes across a lot more negative then it probably should. regarding sakurasakura, it´s solpress´s 1st project, and in retrospect they simply shouldn´t have made any release estimates public. on the other hand, if they hadn´t been working on upscaling things & other technical whatnot, people also would´ve complained upon release, like you know those ever nagging hd-ultra fetishists, giving a fuck about actual plot as long as all is shiny. btw you using the term "untrustworthy" here is also no good. not wanting to whiteknight them, but like mentioned it´s one project out of god knows how many + they´d been semi-regularly putting out weekly/monthly wrap-ups & did release a small bunch of products as of now.

& about frontwing milking their franchise, phantom trigger being a whole new series aside, which company really isn´t? not to mention them also releasing other titles along the lines, 3rd party and own. doesn´t really make sense to me

I dunno, for me I've never been into the whole debating the merits of every eng vn publisher. It seems like a whole lot of dickwaving to me with the foreskin on the breeze. I just want the translation to not be ass, the wimmin to be interesting and varied, and for the protag to not make me want to slit my wrists.

Back there I'd quite sleepy, so perhaps my word here was quite poor here. I'm apologized if you felt really offended with my word earlier here, and perhaps I should really watch what kind of word that I say here. I'll try to take my responsibilities in regard of my words earlier here.

For 'untrustworthy' word here, perhaps I did quite harsh with my opinion here. But seeing that I've gave them chance several times in regard of Sakusakura and yet they still not release this by now, I believe SOME fans might have quite wary in regard of Sol Press promise which in turn causing them to not believe them (After all I did say MAY before untrustworthy, so it's more like a subjective opinion here). Of course I also understand if most people still want to trust them. As for the updates, yeah they have been putting them so I would like to say that they have good communication to the fan here. But still I believe that Sol Press here shouldn't made an estimation of the exact month if they realized that there's many extra works in regard of upscaling, and Doddler also said that they've been crazy to do that - before you say that I've been harsh with my word here again, here's the post where Doddler said that for the proof.

I knew that Frontwing did also have some works besides Grisaia, so they did have some diversity in regard of their products compared to age and Type Moon. But they main franchise is still Grisaia though, and in regard of Phantom Trigger they've been releasing five volumes. Also while Fred did say that you should treat Phantom Trigger as the new series, Frontwing did use the label 'Grisaia' so people would think that this is another part of Grisaia even though most of the older cast didn't come back yet. Other than Phantom Trigger here, Frontwing also did release several Grisaia side stories before that, so if it isn't milking then I don't know what it is. I understand though if Frontwing want to do that, because it's the easier way for them to get some customer. Oh and they also like Sekai in regard of gathering the money by did some crowdfund (ie KS and IGG), and this time they using KS as some sort of their pre-order store for the hardcopy of Island - I understand their reasoning though.

Once again, I'm apologize if you've been offended with my word here, and hopefully I could clear some of the mess here.

PS - In regard of comparing the translation companies, I admit that I'm also into it as well. So let's just said that each of the companies have their ups and downs, and that's final.
