Doesn't really matter. Sekai is still to blame if they make a contract where Lose can do this without breach of contract. It's as simple as that. Lose might be to blame too, but I can't see a scenario where Sekai is perfectly innocent in this mess.

Nowhere am I saying that Sekai is innocent though. Just that screaming that Sekai is lying is just wrong and stupid.

But saying that the devloper itself is lying to both Sekai and Fakku is not?

It doesn't even require Lose to have lied, explicitly.  A simple miscommunication would suffice.

It's entirely possible Lose always intended from day one to release the altered version, and Sekai Project from day one thought getting a 100% unaltered release was in the cards.  And further that Sekai thought it was so obvious that you wouldn't alter the 18+ version that they didn't think to ask, and certainly never wrote down in the contract.  Everyone involved thinks everybody else is on the same page... but they aren't.

How is the protagonist in this one? I'm thinking about starting this after finishing up if my heart had wings. I don't need to much, but a semblance of personality is a must.

Ohh and a vague spoiler which i don't mind. Does the grand route have a heroine? One pet peeve of mine is doing heroine routes and having a slice of life true ending.

The protagonist is very much like Kashou from Nekopara, except a bit more innocent/emotionally stunted. In fact, Maitetsu feels a lot like Nekopara all around. Aesthetically beautiful, porn focused, very cheap feels, overly emotional, but fantastic sex scenes. But all around I'd say it's a straight upgrade on Nekopara in every possible way, except perhaps that Nekopara has its own unique charm. Cat girls versus lolis, basically.

minor spoiler about the grand route:

Spoiler

It's a harem ending. No new heroine. Pretty satisfying ending, though. Worth doing.
All in all, I would recommend either doing everything, or doing only Hachiroku's route to be most efficient. It's the best route by far.

The protagonist is an emotionally stunted, traumatized kinda person. Other than that, he is very straightforward and serious I suppose.

Maitetsu is kinda unusual I would say, I haven't finished all the routes yet, but it's heavily focused on business operation and politics, also kinda unexpectedly I don't remember there being any comedy whatsoever.
It's also involves trains of course, and some drama.

If you just want to romance trains, and think cute girls talking business strategy, funding options, shareholding companies, election stratagies, train repairs, etc. sounds boring. It might be a hard sell, but if not, I think it worth a try.

I suppose "Maitetsu" has a bit of that sense of building towards something that "If my heart had wings" has too. Gliders in the later and economic stimulation in the former.

Recently I did play this and took a liking to it, especially when we knew that Soutetsu here is qute capable as the MC. The story goes like Soutetsu did came back to his hometown (Ohitoyo) and seeing that there'll be aircraft factory being built he decided to fight against it because he can't bear to see his hometown being polluted. While at first it's easy to say that aircraft factory supporter is bad and the one who supported Soutetsu is good, it's not as easy as it looks seeing that both parties did have their own thinking to built Ohitoyo. That said, Soutetsu of curse would strife to fulfill what he want and he decided to use the train. Other than that, we also have the setting that each train did have AI system in form of little girl and that the AI could be romanced as well (While at first it's look out there, in the end it's just the same as Ell from Osadai in which it's more out there seeing that Ell is a spaceship). For the location setting, while Lose didn't said it directly it's quite obvious that Ohitoyo was located at the rural place in Kumamoto prefecture.

I did like that Lose here did took many efforts to make many sprites, and by that I mean even Soutetsu father and mother did have sprites as well in which it shouldn't be necessary seeing that both of them were posthumous characters. There's also a bar that indicate the progression for each chapter, so you'll going to know of how much the contents that you already read, and in a sense gave some satisfaction everytime you'd finished the bar. There's also e-mote system, although looking at Nekopara it's not surprising though. Lastly, the heroines positioning in this VN is very clear with the three in the cover (Hachiroku, Paulette, and Hibki) are the main heroines while the rest of the girls were side heroines (There's four side routes and those routes were very short).

As for the seiyuu/VA, for now I'll just explaining the man heroines one. Hachiroku's (The main heroine and first AI that Soutetsu know) seiyuu is Kirihana, who as we knew voiced Ayachi Nene from Sanoba (Some of Hachiroku's tones remind me of Nene), Ousaka Sora from Hoshiori, Lena Liechtenauer from Senren Banka, Horibe Yasube from ChuSingura, Mitsukasa Ayase from Riddle Jokers, and Ikoma Murasaki from Phantom Trigger. Paulette's (The mayor of Ohitoyo who is very young, and hinted to knew Soutetsu in the past) seiyuu is Aji Sanma who voiced Mochizuki Rina in Fureraba, Shinozaki Marika in Hoshiori, Kuchiki Touko in Kara no Shoujo, Reime Kaho in Haretaka, and Heroina di Caballero istaa in Kirikoi (Quite mouthful). Lastly we have Hibiki who is Soutetsu step sister, and her seiyuu is Himari who is also voiced Chocola in Nekpara, Croix Eden in Evenicle, and Hokari Kanae in euphoria.

I guess that's all for my first look in Maitetsu here, and I'll try to write more later if possible.

Oh, guys, I had a strange dream, when Sekai understood that they failed with Maitetsu release, deleted all releases from all shops...

And on site I saw the new release date - 28.03.2019...

Like nothing wasn't released earlier ^_^

Is it mean that March 28th is your birthday date then? If so then I'll take a note on that.

No, my birthday is August 20th ^_^

Okay then, and I'll take a note on that later.

Currently already finished with common route, although right now I wonder whose route that I should take. And unfortunately there's no side routes opinion because we can only took that after finished the main route.

One of my fav VNs, I'll curious who you'll pick first and who you'll like the most.

For me, Hachi's route was the first pick, no brainer; I love AI/Servant heroines.

All my compatriots that played the game went Hibiki first. Makes sense; she's the most strongly advertised in the common route.

So between Hachiroku's and Hibiki's I see. Although seeing that Hachiroku's is the best route, perhaps it would be better to save it for the last. So perhaps it would be the best to finish Hibiki' s first, even though Paulette was more interesting with not so suble hint in regard of her past with Sotetsu. In the end, my play order here would be Hibiki > Reina > Hachiroku > Side Routes and I'll plan my play order for side routes later.

As for my favorite, I think all three of them have interesting approach to their situation around them so it's hard to tell which is the best girl. But if you talk who's the girl that I would like the most it should be Hachiroku seeing that she's very loyal to Soutetsu, have more prominence in common route (Because she's the main heroine), and her voice is resembled Nene (Not important). Keep in mind that I may change my favorite in the future though.

Finished Paulette's route and let's just say that become the mayor is not as easy as it looks because you need to take care of parliament before finally managed to make your own decision, at least in democratic country. While the problem in Maitetsu is easily solved thanks to Soutetsu and Paulette's competence along with the help from Ohitoyo citizens, the route still give us interesting lesson of what mayor (Or any executive) need to face each time they make the policies. Other than mayor issue which stressed Paulette, it also answer my question whether she knew Soutetsu after his almost death experience, and the answer is yes she does although Soutetsu learnt about it off screen though. Overall it's interesting to learn more about Ohitoyo town through Paulette's route here, although unfortunately many Japanese term did escape me though.

As for the next route of Maitetsu, I think I'll go with Hibiki later. Oh and you can unlock all of the sex scenes if you've interested with, and I think it didn't affect the plot much at least from what I see at Paulette's route here (It might be nice for some additional dialogue though).
