That one game you're embarrassed to admit you have...

I was going through my Steam Library and I'm horrified to find that I've somehow managed to pick up a copy of Idol Magical Girl Chiru Chiru Michiru. Pt 1 AND Pt 2.

Not to mention, I have all the Sakura games. =_= I don't even remember when I got them; I must've picked them up as a bundle before I knew about all that shady crap Winged Cloud was pulling.

(and when the hell I buy a copy of Japanese School Life...?)

So what's the one game you're ashamed to admit you have in your game library?

Grisaia spin-offs are pretty much a status symbol, suggesting you've read the original trilogy and are expanding to Frontwing's lesser products. Plus Chiru Chiru games aren't really bad from what I've heard. ;)

The most shamefull item in my Steam library would definitely be Huniepop, followed by the a full set of Nekopara games and Sakura Dungeon. :]

Edit: But just like Asonn, it's not like I'm really ashamed of any of that by this point of my descent into weeb degeneracy. :P

Probably all the VNs I got purely so I could just get 100% saves just to read the H scenes... included untranslated ones (and I can't read Japanese yet)

And the worst part is almost half of them I didnt care for the H scenes anyway... Thankfully I started deleting a bunch and only keeping the ones I care about

No one hates on Chiru Chiru and gets away with it. :pyaa:

ChiruChiru is love! ChiruChiru is life! :michiru:

Back to the topic of hand ..... nothing really. I have Nekopara and If My Heart Had Wings (both of which have threesome scenes with lolis). So I have no shame really :P

I don't tell anybody about VNs. I wouldn't call it embarrassed, more like strategic planning. Some of the people I interact with will likely react negatively to +18 titles, particularly if it involves lolis and I'm not really in a position to ignore that. Sad but true.

I'm not ashamed about anything I played when it comes to this community. Huniepop has been mentioned twice already, but I actually have had some fun hours with it. It's not a masterpiece VN. In fact I wouldn't really call it a VN, but the puzzle part of it is rather well made, the gift items is a nice addition to the genre, but the dating/question part is... not great.

Honestly I'm not at all ashamed of the VNs I own.

However, not being ashamed of them =/= being able to proudly flaunt them irl.

Things would certainly be awkward if my family or most of my friends/acquaintances had a little browse through my VN collection... or honestly even if they were made aware of a) that I play visual novels b) what visual novels are and contain, especially in certain instances... :gasp:

A barely intelligible lewd-ish VN called SUPER STAR or something. The heroine seemed cute so I decided to give it a roll, but it just felt like something only a lonely, inept failure 30 year old fatso would be able to find worthwhile as escapism or as porn and thus while that probably IS my fate as well, I'd rather not play games that remind me of that situation.
