That's right, I'm talking about HATE! I know we all have em' so what are yours? Here are a few of mine. Shinji (Fate Stay Night) The moment I beheld his smarmy face I knew I was going to not like him and I was absolutely right. However, I was unaware just how much my loathing would grow. Every single time he appeared my hatred grew and grew until of course the final route and then it just burst. Honestly, I can't think of a fictional character I hate more then Shinji so congratulations to Type Moon! Grave (Symphonic Rain) The very definition of a vile and detestable monster. He is rich, talented, arrogant, and a really abusive father. What he did to Lise was abhorrent and the fact that he seemingly got away with it makes it even worse. Shin (Kara No Shoujo) Spoiler You killed her! How could you do something like that! She was such a wonderful character and you murdered her in such a brutal and violent way! How could you! It was just a shitty shock scene which felt way too unatural. Disinherit her and kick her out or kill her and dump the body is the two options i think fits the scenario. She is a manipulative drama queen. She is one of the most ungrateful characters i've ever seen. She's a narcissistic, weak willed brat. She's just annoying as all living crap. Shirakawa Nanaka (Da Capo II) Yes, I did Koko's route first. Yes, I am completely biased. No, I do not care. Nanaka gave Koko so much shit in both of their routes. I just don't like her. There are characters I dislike, but they're written that way. As much as I hate Gilgamesh as a character, I appreciate his inclusion and writing in Fate. He's meant to be hated, so I'm not sure if it counts, however I've never felt a need to punch the screen like after the scene when he saw Sekai being raped, did nothing about it and later masturbated to the memory of it, while being already quite steadily in relationship with Kotonoha. This was fucked up on so many levels that I'm slightly surprised I didn't stop playing at that point - and what's funny(?), that was probably the route that made him the least horrible (pure focus on Kotonoha, being as gentle to her as possible, no cheating). I can't say I didn't enjoy it, because from technical point of view it's an amazing achievement (pretty much a 40+ hours of interactive anime) and the whole love triangle scenario have some really powerful moments. And if you can find the right path, the conclusion can be really satisfying. The protagonist is simply the worst person in the world and your job as a player is frantically trying to prevent him from ruining other people's and his own life. And there are scenes that makes me question the sanity of the writers - but I guess many things there were done simply for porn, some routes play pretty much like a nukige, with Makoto banging everything that moves and has two legs, the ones I followed (pretty much the "optimal" ones for Kotonoha and Sekai) were much, much lighter when it goes to erotic content, but still had disturbing moments like the one mentioned above. Like Matou Shinji, every time he wasn't on screen I ended up looking forward to the next ass thing he would bring to the story :3 The ones that I "hate" are the ones that only bored me, brought nothing to the story and tempted me to press ctrl. Like half of Comyu's cast. Oh, that rule doesn't apply to abusive love interests that "rape out of love" and the game actually paints this as good natured (no problem if the game treats this as unhealthy and an insane type of love).
