Your feelings on comyu without any spoilers please!

I dont mind the plot, to be fair (tho it could be a lot better imo). But the way that Benios route ended, the plot just felt so incomplete, I was completely not even expecting it to end (well about 5 or 6 lines before it ended I realized what was happening).

Spoiler

Honestly I thought there must be another 5 or 6 hours atleast left of her route still at that point lol. Nothing was resolved, King was still alive (he had changed slightly was about all that happened, I mean seriously?) and round table was still fine, even the boss guy of the round table).

Also there was no romance at all in Benios route tbh, in fact I felt sorry for Benio for most of her route, protagonist pretty much didnt even show genuine affection and love for Benio at any point from what I could see, at best he showed that he started to like (not the Japanese like) her a bit lol

I am all for having routes fill in some gaps of other routes, but each route should still be its own independent story with a satisfactory intro, middle and conclusion. Benio route felt like it wasnt even finished, and there is essentially no satisfying ending to Comyu with Benio as the heroine, I mean I am even questioning as I type this if you are 100% sure the end I got with Benio was the good end for her? Are you sure it wasnt the bad end?

Yea, I did hear Mayukis route was a bit better on the romance front, I just wish that the romance (and any sex scenes) would occur a few years later or something when she is no longer a loli lol (assuming this does not happen).

100% sure, Benio's route only have one ending and it's this one.

And to be fair (wow, I'm defending Comyu?)...

Spoiler

if King died in that ending, what would have changed? If I recall correctly, most of the shit that happened in Benio's route was Round Table's guy plan. Not his. What I REALLY wanted to see in Comyu, see Akihito and friends side with Caesar and see a bit more of his pov, the game doesn't give me. He's painted as a villain really unfairly sometimes.

But all the other routes have a bit more of conclusion (not that Ayaya's and Mayuki's have that strong a plot to conclude).

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand no. It's really is loli porn.

2 routes in particular were amazing to me, Hisoka and Kagome.

Agree. That were the only routes that I liked (although I really disliked some things in Kagome's ending). Benio's drags a lot, Ayaya's just a filler and Mayuki's plot is laughable (the way they overreact to unpopularity in forums is seriously cringy)

You are right about King in Benio's route, but either way, the way it ended was just ridiculous.

Spoiler

The way he has Kagome on one arm and Benio on the other made it look like he was going to end up with his threesome in future.

Poor Benio wasnt really even allowed a proper route lol (she was a bit irritating with her justice bs to be fair, but the MC with his constant red crap is worse)

Mayuki's route is dumb as a story, but I guess it could be worse, it does feel like it is in there 100% for the loli idol loving Otaku's.

I guess I will get Mayuki and Ayaya over with then, Kagome is why I picked the game up, my favorite type of heroine lol. Why is Ayaya route a joke route, is it really short? Really crap? Or both of those? Hoping it is short if it is just a joke lol.

I hope Kagome and Hisoka are worth it -.-

Yes, it is super short. Not really bad bc it's over before that happens, but nothing useful happens either.

And I guess the majority of people that picked this game did it bc Kagome.

Just finished Hisoka route, and it was quite a bit more entertaining than any of the others. I would actually say it was good if the romance was done well. But the romance was done terribly, yet they decided to use the romance between the protagonist and Hisoka to drive the plot and try and invoke some feels, but it just felt a bit stupid. Ah well, onto Kagome and the end of the game (I hope Kagome's route is worth it)

I pretty much have the same opinion on the Hisoka route. It also felt like the whole route came out of nowhere.

Sadly I didn't finnish this game. I had other things to do and droped it right at Kagomes route. It's annoying because I liked her the most but at this point I don't want to read the whole thing again :(

Haha, seems a bit crazy to do all that and then not do the route of the highlight girl -.-.

Either way, I am half way or so (I think?) through Kagome route, and, so far it is defiantly the most interesting, but it did get a bit messed up at one point SPOILER:

Spoiler

Where three women had clearly been well lets just say murdered and quote from the game "They had certain fluids on them which suggested they had other acts commited to them" (very hard to know what they were right...) Dont like this shit... Yes it was offscreen, but still very unpleasant.

I dont see the need for this crap (felt like it was only there to make protagonist "see red" again) , up until this point the game had been a bit subtle and avoided directly describing any events of this nature (plus the hints of it previously didnt involve torture). I dont know why they suddenly decided to throw it in our face at this point.

Anyhow, I hope this is the last of this kind of crap. And will enjoy the rest of the route =/

Finished Kagome route.

Honestly I only finished this game because Kagome was the last route and I was determined not to leave the next game I played unfinished.

The reality of this VN is, imo that it was not very good, I give it a 5/10 (I feel it is quite generously rated on VNDB)

Even the story of Kagome's route felt lacking and poorly executed, despite being better than the other routes. Plus the end didnt really conclude the story imo. I would also say a lot of the stuff to do with "The System" was really poorly explained and made little sense, I feel this may have been some lines lost in translation, but yea all the System stuff was a load of BS as far as I can tell.

Also, SPOILER on Kagome route:

Spoiler

Protagonist takes Kagome's virginity, next thing we know he is taking Yorukos also, dafuk? And then later we have Kagome determined to stop stampeding to be reunited with the man she loves...(little does she know he cheated on her the first chance he got lol). How sweet...Oh wait?

The premise of the game is good. The execution of the story very poor imo, the characters are alright, but suffer from the poor plot. It felt like it was written by 14 year olds (and this may be harsh to 14 year olds).

To be perfectly honest, I was in the same situation as you. I constantly found it mentioned with a high rating, amazing VN etc. So much wasted potential. For example, entire idea of classes was obsolete... The best moment was probably the last song. I think it was called Run or something like that

I actually liked those repeating lines with "red colour" and "so what"s, it just depends on the person.  I'd say just give it a try and see for yourself.

Most of the hate is on xx character, and enforced route or whatnot, which doesn't really matter until the latter half of the game.  Of course, you can always hijack a save file from someone if you're that desperate.

Being the oddball, I didn't really like Kagome as a character (come@me:wafuu:), her route is pretty thrilling regardless.  Hisoka's character and route left a pretty big impression on me.

Oh, and, Benio's cute.  Even though by the end, her dialogues gets more cringe every time it shows up:vinty:

I am not a hater, I really and genuinely had high expectations and high enthusiasm when I started playing the game, I thought the premise sounded awesome. I actually liked Hisoka also (altho I did like Kagome, partly because she was the only one romanceable with any breasts it is fair to say), and even thought the protagonist sounded and looked kinda cool. But I felt the plot was a complete clusterfuck, it was ok, if it was 100% trash I wouldnt have been able to finish it, but the whole game just felt confused. The "seeing the colour red" stuff is more a joke than a negative point for the game.
