I enjoy playing a lot of Visual Novels though I enjoy playing Strategy ones (Tears to Tiara, Sengoku Rance, Daibanchou, etc.) the most. I'm also into shmups. As it seems you've played most of the mainstream ones, why not try Piece of Wonder? the story is average (I'd give it a 5) but the gameplay is surprisingly good (7 or 8 maybe).
