It's ok if it's japanese, I'm use to VNR. And it would be great if it's nukige. Yeah, I can't believe myself how rotten I've become... Thank you in advance! Several games by Asa Project are tagged with breaking the fourth wall, but I've yet to get around to playing any of them so I can't say if it's what you're looking for. There's more fourth wall breaking in the game, but if memory serves me right "acknowledging the readers' existence" only takes place 2-3 times. Among the small number of VNs that I have read so far (max 20), the breaking of the 4th wall (kind of, not in the way you are looking for) happened like only in two VNs (I/O Revision II in some occations and Notch: The Innocent LunA had some kind of 4th wall breaking near the end of the VN) ... But all in all, I think I dislike that trope, it breaks immersion for me sometimes and it usually isn't executed very well so I have yet to find a VN in which I will like it to the fullest ... First thing off top in my head when mentioning breaking the fourth wall is Ar nosurge. Also analogue story insert you inside the story in a weird way, so there is that too. (Take note no one of the mentioned games has sex scenes or anything like it, so they might not met your expectation. Or maybe what you're looking for would be more reasonable to achieve by playing a VR porn game? It does seem to kinda insert you inside the game although that might count as cheating.) It's console only and I don't have any (sigh). Analoge Story is good but it doesn't count or every western RPG with character's creating would suffice. As for VR, I don't think there is any porno game for it yet. And the price... my God. My girlfriend would kill me if I buy it just for porn Besides I like visual novels. I prefer my porn with decent story. When I was playing eroge some time ago, suddenly the idea came to me, why developers put so much efforts in girls and so little in MC. Do I need this shallow protagonist to be my alter-ego? Maybe, there's visual novel where I can be not the silent reader but also a participant. So I looked and I didn't find anything... Anyway in case someone manage to find this thread and want to ask for some recommendations, there's Kimikoi and Nine series (Especially episode 4) if you want similar VNs that has some element that the OP asked. Other than those, there's well known Doki Doki Literature Club and Shuusaku (If you want some untranslated VN) in which the latter did surprise me when a post in Reddit explained the VN in detail, moreso because Shuusaku remind me of an user who like to write adult story using the similar setting as Shuusaku (Even though he change the character name in the story).
