I have finished the game 4 times already (the 4 routes), and i'm now going to do the kill the monkey route, but i still don't have this item, so where do i get the popularity staff? littleshogun Posted October 27, 2016 Share Posted October 27, 2016 According to Rance wiki, it was obtained randomly as start of turn event with low chance after Nobunaga moved to Honnouji. Oh, and also you must not conquered another country yet to trigger the event (Also you must didn't enter Kill the Monkey route). Dmork Posted October 27, 2016 Author Share Posted October 27, 2016 I just discovered something, if you just keep ending the turn without declaring war with other country, no one will declare war on you, and when you get the staff, you declare war to other country and let them dominate all your territory, doing that you are going to unlock the staff in the NG+.
