If VNDB is anything to go by, it seems it was created/hired by a bunch of Japanese companies. As for what little we can see of the English, I don't see any glaring issues. That's good. Wouldn't be the first time a Japanese company suddenly releases something in English with minimal effort put forth. Doesn't seem that's the case. Good. Now... it's a nukige... I can see the appeal of playing all ages versions of them but... What kind is it? Did they add scenes to replace the gaping holes left by the sex? Did they just cut it out? If it's the latter... But based on the sales of things like Nekopara, a lot of people might quite simply not know that this has a Japanese boob version, and just happily buy the game with the cute anime characters. That's what I fear. And when the game sells like hell, the developers are like, "hell yeah! It worked!" If that does lead to more nukige from them being put on steam as all-ages versions, I'll just... guh I just... can't even. I mixed it up with something else, lol. I only realized that after I had encountered those conspicuous "there-should-be-ecchi-here"-shaped holes in the "story". Norn games a short, low-priced nukige - straight up porn fests. Most are 3-4 hours long INCLUDING the reading all the H-scenes and costume variant scenes. Most also have 15-20 H scenes. Norn and the dark-side sister company Miel have a small stable of artists and VAs and churn out games, one every few months. They're the 18+ version of Winged Cloud or Dharker. But... all ages? What's going to be left? 1 hour of slice-of-life stuff? The other surprising thing is that the Japanese version had it's digital release, what, 6 weeks ago? It's still a recent release in Japan, and it's already in English on Steam. If the translation is actually decent, then they could make a pretty good amount of money releasing quick and often in English. Especially if there was an 18+ patch... for DLC maybe (flame ON!)? They seem pretty responsive, and eager to get into TLing more games in the future so that's nice that least. I have nothing against Norn; granted, their games aren't anything special (honestly, most of them range from outright godawful to mediocre at most, porn-wise), but every company has it's place and they definitely know theirs. What Toranth said - if they're slightly more clever than most of japanese studios willing to share their games with the rest of the world, they might actually adjust their business model and start releasing short games on Steam with 18+ patches aside.
