Need Help

I don't know if this is the right section to ask for this but it seems like it.

You see I'm currently reading Root Double Xtend version, but my save was suddenly corrupted. Don't really know what's the cause, I have a feeling it was because my laptop crashed but that doesn't seem to be it.

Already made a thread in the tech support but it may be the wrong section since no one's answering.

Another weird thing is that it keeps saying corrupted every time I re-open the game even though it's supposed to save upon exit. I tried moving the save & let the game reset, which works fine, but that means all my progress is lost. When I put back my save it displays corrupted. Any way to fix this? I really don't want to start over since I'm pretty far in already & maneuvering through the SSS was a real hassle.

If the data is lost for good (hope it's not), would someone be kind enough to share their complete save?

If this is not the right section, where do I put it? Thanks in advance & sorry if this is the wrong section, it's just that with the limited time I have recently I don't think I can afford to restart the whole thing, since I also still need to do other stuff as well using my spare time.

I'm not sure the section is the reason why nobody replied. I wouldn't know what to say regardless of where you post this and the no replies could very well be due to everybody else thinking the same thing. My guess would be that you lost your savegame forever, possibly because something crashed while saving, meaning you only have the first half. Move the savegame somewhere else, start a new savegame and compare file size. If the new one is bigger, odds are that the old one is missing a severe amount of data.

The size is the same, but the data is corrupted...

Damn... looks like it really is lost forever...

Is there a section around here where people share complete saves? I don't want to restart everything if I have to...

don't know if it will help but u can try the save save file in here.....guess it will help...

It works! Sucks that I have to redo the rest of Root D though, but it works!

Guess no one has a complete save huh...

Still, thanks for this hidden gem! Better make a back up from now on just in case...

Though if anyone here found or have a complete save, it would be much appreciated (yeah I have this tendency to want complete CG & others in Extras, but some are just too frustrating to try & complete since I'm not a fan of bad ends & some are hard as hell to get). For now, off I go to work on that Grand Ending.

Okay, now I'm having another strange problem.

For some reason the movies can't be played, is this a glitch? Even in the extras it won't play, I've even gone full screen mode but it doesn't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Edit: Nvm, it seems the problem was with my codecs, it's fixed now.
