Luch
Topics merged, please try to see if a similar topic exists before creating a new one. And on topic, I download episodes because better quality and I like to archive the files for later use.

drill
I typically just stream anime, too much of a hassle to download every episode I want.

Zakamutt
Torrents, 720p, KCP (not using MadVR cause ill have to set every setting to performance for decent fps which seems to counter the purpose of madvr anyway). Viewed from short distance using my faptop sitting on my chest~
Blackbird
I always using Torrents and watching on 720p using VLC, feel more comfort to watch that way. Sometimes I watch streaming with bad quality if there is something I can't wait to watch, sometimes torrents it just too slow.
Tay
Crunchyroll membership for me. Â Once-a-year payments make it a good birthday or Christmas request, plus I'm able to watch everything in glorious 1080p.
Skeith
Download anime from torrent sites, so that the quality is awesome. Then, I forget about it, and never watch it until I have to archive it into my HDD. lols
Sioxz
Crunchyroll membership for me.  Once-a-year payments make it a good birthday or Christmas request, plus I'm able to watch everything in glorious 1080p. downloading the BD raws and using decent filters makes better  video and sound quality then crunchyrolls 1080P
Silvachief
I like to have a copy of the anime i'm watching - if i'm streaming it I may as well have a copy to watch again later, right? Â If I like the anime I buy it...or at least plan to buy it once I have the cash. I feel the same way about VNs and some Video Games. Kitouski
I prefer hard copies above all else, but when I'm "fishing" for something, I torrent anime or watch it on Crunchyroll. If I really enjoyed it though, I always, always buy a hard copy. (...and if I love it, I buy TONS of merchandise of it. x_x)

EastN3
I stream online, because I have a tablet, so torrents never work and crunchyroll is laggy as heck. I'll also purchase a series if I really enjoyed it.
Cali
Crunchyroll membership for me.  Once-a-year payments make it a good birthday or Christmas request, plus I'm able to watch everything in glorious 1080p.  Yea thanks again for the guestpass Tay, however there is a alot of licensing problems if your not the in the US. its a bit annoying having to find ways to circumvent it. Ah well

Nosebleed
I prefer torrents but no matter what series it is the download speed is always so low it hurts. Honestly for on going anime i prefer just using 3rd party streaming websites, it doesn't change much for me and i am acceptable torwards the quality it has and i don't have to wait for any download completition. For completed series i often use direct download, it works better for me than torrents for some reason.
pandahao
I used to prefer streaming, but now i torrent because torrenting is so much faster than streaming...yeah its weird lol.
Mevvrynne
I always download torrents when I can because, I have an amazing computer and I want to watch it in as high quality as possible. Â The only time I watch streaming is if Netflix has something that I have already seen before and nobody is seeding a torrent.
Novel21
I use torrent to download anime, since is must faster than download it using Mega osv and sometimes i watch Anime online.
roninmedia
I download the episodes and will buy blu-rays imported if the price difference isn't massive which it very often is. Â Sometime next year, I'm constructing a dedicated HTPC/light gaming box and have it sit in the living room to watch my anime or play visual novels. Looking to have ~8-16 terabytes of storage depending on how far storage prices continue to drop.
