Could someone recommend me some good psychological/philosophical VN (translated), VN you can actually learn something from, those which make you think. For example: Umineko - what is true? Ways to understand it etc. F/SN - heroism and dreams... Steins;gate - entire concept of time... Also, I try to avoid VN with rape or crazy sexual abuse Like entire wormrape thing from F/SN Sakura's background I am sick tired of reading stuff like that in western literature... Virtue's Last Reward is a take on human trust and suspicion, but play its prequel 999 (for the DS) first. Some philosophical stuff in there too. Saya no Uta deals with madness and loneliness. When I asked this very same question to my friends who play VN they suggested Chaos;Head and Rewrite. Does any of these really have what I am searching for? The last two routes, and I suppose Akane's route, are a little thought-provoking, but still probably not what you're looking for. Haven't played Chaos;Head myself so I can't say anything about that.
