black-cat Posted December 23, 2015 Share Posted December 23, 2015 just like the title said. i have so many song that i want to get from a lot of VN. but whenever i try to search for audio files on the installation folder none came up.up till now i just recorded every song using software and obviously it has shitty quality.what i'm looking for right now is some BGM from katawa shoujo and Comyu. i want to know if there's a way to get the song from the game folder. also for future reference. As for that katawa shoujo site i can't access it for some reason (website keep loading). is it still active ?Different engines have different extraction methods to them. Deep Blue has pointed you to KS' OST, you might want this tutorial for Ren'Py based VNs. No idea what is Comyu's engine, but like all Japanese VNs run on Kirikiri/Kirikiri 2 which has a fairly boring extraction method but I'm linking it to you anyway. Oh, and I can't seem to remember what to do with ,xp3 files so that they become... actual files... and my connection is really poor right now so I can't help you more than this for the time being. Sorry comyu has XP3 file and right now im trying that tutorial on the thread. as for the link you provide i cant access them. reddit is blocked (though i can access it using unblocksite but took so long to load) and the other one is always timeout.
