I read a little of Tegami Bachi back when SJ was still selling physical copies over in the US and liked it a lot, and I've heard a lot of good things about Black Cat as well. Clephas Posted December 5, 2015 Share Posted December 5, 2015 I voted for Flame of Recca, because it was one of my favorite anime when I was younger... but if you watched To Love Ru you might be interested to know that Konjiki no Yami from it is in Black Cat (as a major character, though of course it isn't really a direct connection... just the same character in two different settings with two different pasts). Flame of Recca was in many ways a prototype for later series in the same vein, like Naruto, along with Yu Yu Hakusho.
