If you want to make a representative chart of all feature-length films (60 minutes or more by convention), you should by all means include pornographic material so you can represent the entire film industry, not just the industry you personally believe is worthy of mentioning.
Of course, in this scenario, you'd likely include something like a minimum budget just for the sake of eliminating very small production works that hardly impact the industry, but if you really want to be thorough, you have to include everything.
The beauty of statistics is that they hold no preconceived values, there's no good or bad, everything is just an attempt at representing a reality by quantifiable means, so you shouldn't shy away from any factors if you want to get the best picture possible across to your audience.

I guess what's a stake here is that you don't define a "nukige" as a "VN" and so you won't include it, and I won't get into arguments about this, but I do still think you should have used them in this chart in order to compare with the rest of the trends because they are a big part of the market and affect a lot of decisions in it in relation to how other VNs are picked for localization.

To be completely fair, the word "nukige" is an internet term that I am almost certain does not exist in Japan. If I asked one of the many fans while standing in line for a visual novel release for some good nukige recommendations, I guarantee they would have no idea what that term means. To Japanese people, PC games are PC games. Regardless of the genre, it's a market that focuses fantasies and story telling. About 90% of those stories involve porn. Based on your argument, you're saying that anything that contains porn should no longer be considered a visual novel, essentially meaning you are speaking for the entire country by calling them porn fans.

If you're not going to include all translated VNs, then don't call the chart "All Translated VNs", because then the name is wrong and misleading.  Saying that nukige VNs aren't VNs is like saying that porn flicks aren't part of the film medium.  Whether you like it or not, porn is filmed, and nukige VNs are VNs.  Just because porn flicks aren't sold at your local movie store doesn't mean that they aren't movies (n. a story or event recorded by a camera as a set of moving images; a motion picture.), which they actually are.  If you don't want to make statistics about nukige, fine, but it's incredibly irritating for you to mislabel something just because you don't like the part you're ignoring.  If you don't want to include them, then just don't make the chart, or label it properly.  It's really not that hard.

I really don't get why you always have to bring up your vendetta against porn.  Just about everyone already knows about it, and I can assure you, most of us really don't care.  It is actually possible to keep your opinions about porn to yourself and not repeat them over and over again ad infinitum.

No, that's never been your mistake actually. Rule of thumb - you'll rarely sway your direct opponent with an argument alone for many reasons, one of which is people don't like being preached at, another is they may have a different perspective on the issue. You'll encounter the same problems wherever you go, you should probably become more flexible or you'll only really learn to relax in the company of like minded individuals.

I am not sure whatever I agree with this or not. I do think that it is also important to discus with people with different opinions but at a same time I think it is only logical for people to stay away from groups in witch they are not welcome and that are hostile toward them, like for example if you are a gay you would usually not hang around with people who are part of some anti-gay group.
