+ the reincarnation of the legendary hetare-kun *sigh

edit: there arent that many titles, where i´m absolutely by any means unable to empathize with the stories protagonist, means me even wishing/praying for him getting dumbed or such, last one which made me strongly feel that way has been "i-can".
this doenst necessarily mean the game itself is bad - no - it consists of a nice and interesting story, visuals whose pulchritude is a pleasure to the spectators eye, paired with more than less likeable characters, resulting in an entertaining and (mostly) enjoyable experience. but for i the games ntr-theme was abit missleading, because i missed those genre-typical emotions like jealousy, or hatred welling up inside, may it have been for the mc´s over the top whiney personality, or me simply beeing unable to connect with him on a mental level during the read, which made it impossible for i projecting the stories happenings onto myself ergo i didnt give an ounce of crap about him getting ntréd, or not, or whatoever.

nevertheless i´d really like seeing this game been played/read by more people, especially in the west, because its a good game. just dont go blindly into reading it, whilst expecting something on gatenkei´s, or blue series level emotion-wise.

"Netorase" is more common than the typical netorare in VNs from what I observe. It's a subcategory of netorare where the man/woman is willingly to offer up his/her spouse or even themselves to be cuckolded and one getting NTR'ed prefers observing rather than doing the deed. They basically get off getting their spouse/significant other get raped, molested, etc. It's basically a more friendly version of NTR without the feels and the heart piercing emotions and is mostly on the nukige category.

Another subcategory of NTR is called Netori and is basically playing on the perspective of the person committing the NTR (play as the molester, rapist, someone stealing the woman from the other guy). Like Netorare, it's built on the premise of possession and stealing someone precious from somebody but it's not as emotionally crushing because you're the one playing the bad guy. :D

But most people hate NTR and it's not for everyone. I go to hentai sites all the time to watch NTR animes and the comment sections are always about how they hate these kinds of anime, MC is a wuss, etc. This has always been the strongest reception towards NTR in the west. Japanese people seem to be more open towards it.

The gameplay is pretty simple and doesn't get in the way.  You'll spend the vast majority of your time in story scenes.  The prologue patch doesn't contain any actual gameplay or choices, however.

From what I remember when I last played it, it's not just picking the right choices and you actually have predict and strategize on some menu or something and pick a place to station your protagonist so you can block the antagonists. I remember there's also a way to disable all NTR scenes if you hate NTR but ummm that's kinda like censoring the whole damn thing. lol

first of all thanks for explaining the small differences of the genre in your post above to other people & then i´ve to object quite strongly, as theré´re definitely many ones in the west who are into ntr, netori or its subgenres, but arent that much vocal, than others - like those wishing the whole thing plus its fans to hell. let alone on /a/ are countless threads regarding said topic, with tons of participants, be it for the anonymity, or other reasons, but the western ntr scene is quite big and constantly growing, that shouldnt be ignored any longer visual novel-wise by western publishers.

Cuckold is big in the western pornography industry, that's pretty much a fact. NTR may be synonymous to a cuckold genre, but it's really different if you look how each of them are represented or at least a good majority of the works that categorizes them.

Cuckold pornography in the west is mostly about revenge themes (a good 80% of them - popular themes include teenage son cuckolding the father's new wife (in most of these, the son usually despises his father for remarrying/divorcing), jealous guy cuckolding his best friend's hot gf, etc). In almost all cuckold porn, you don't feel bad for the person being cuckolded as they rarely make an appearance or they are completely oblivious of what is going on and you just kinda laugh how stupid they are.

Netorare isn't exactly  "revenge porn" but more leaning towards constant emotional attacks to the reader/viewer as they are put into the shoes of the one being cuckolded (wimpy husband who hasn't slept with his wife for months, worthless bf with a small junk, etc). Also in netorare, it's quite common for a complete stranger to commit netorare but it's very very rare in regular cuckold porn.

Excuse me for being too passionate about this topic. xD

nah no mean to excuse yourself for anything, as am i regarding this genre since idk when i started getting interested in it first. also i didnt mean in the slightest the generic standart stuff like oblivious dude a gets his waifu stolen by dudes b-c, leading to your everyday nukige bullcrap plot.
i, as you am pretty much very into good stories, focusing on netorare type a-b and to a lesser extend netori, simply because if well written pretty much ensures a good amount of drama beeing provided - means an emotional rollercoaster ranging from normal reactions like strong jealusy to psysical pain and drepessional states lasting for weeks. and there´re also is a good amount of fans who enjoy it, exactly as us, but sadly arent the vocal majority - as its seen in the rapid increase of beeing interested in better, non generic ntr mangas, for example ayamachi, hajimemashite

The MG forum where Malamasala was "positive" about Fuwa. I should hop on the Sakura hype train because it is in English.

It's only Malamasala. His argument features a fair bit of inconsistent logic, so I'd advise against following his thread of thought all the way to its natural conclusion. The natural conclusion being a splitting migraine and a day doped up on painkillers.

I have no idea how he can slam Fuwa for being full of people who only like art and don't care about translation quality when later on, in that same thread, he states he only goes for the art and if it has a good story it's a 'pleasant surprise.'

In fact, the answer to that question will probably lead to more erratic, convoluted thoughts so forget I asked.

Oh if people wanted to try/check the game out, here's a 100% save file source if you to see the CG and scenes, It's Alicesoft, so they usually don't disappoint in this department anyway. :D

http://sagaoz.net/savedata/a/05o.htm

The game is called: "母娘乱館" in this site, so just copy paste>Ctrl+F it.

This is where I usually get all my 100% save files for untranslated visual novels. ^_^

Although surprisingly, the save for this game isn't 100% (missing a dozen scenes (a couple of pregnant bad ends) but CG gallery is 100%) but it's kinda rare as this guy only uploads 100% save files. The game I guess is just too hard to 100% or time consuming due to the amount of multiple saves and backtracking you have to do.

So MangaGamer just deleted my Oyako Rankan OP from the forum topic, removed posts referring to the patch, locked the topic for "offensive content", and suspended my forum account.  Wow.  Way to encourage enthusiasm about your games.

And to think I was the one who referred the translator to MG to verify the legitimacy of what he's doing.

I might not promote Beat Blades Haruka for them after all.

aside from that, i´m not sure if they didnt confuse you for having teamed up with the "translator" of said stuff, which might or might not led to their desicion. also we dont know about what he talked to mg, btw claimed + the factum of him accepting donations. personally i dont think you´re responsible for his possibly wrongdoings, but to an innocent bystander this may appear quite different and pretty unsure of the mangagamer forum beeing the right place of posting a patch of such questionable quality rule-wise + considering them having partnered up with alicesoft, even for the sake of "promoting" the game
