SilverLi
If Silvery Li is talking about Neko Vol 0, it also benefits from a 3 dollar price tag My name But yes Nekopara was cheaper. But if i Recall Sakura Beach was 7 euro with the launcher discount? It ain't that expensive.
Canicheslayer
The point is, it's bad h. I saw the scenes, and they were pretty terrible. The writing was terrible, the art was actually quite average compared to the artist's other non-h work, and they were really, really short. Nobody involved seemed to know how to make good h-scenes, and it showed. If they've never made them before, then it's not really that surprising. Narcosis
The most hilarious thing is that Winged Cloud's games still attract so much attention.
Nosebleed
I think they can improve, but to do so, they really need to stop shoveling titles out the window every couple of months and just focus on making something longer. If they want to take the nukige route, that's fine too, but even nukige require a certain length to be enjoyable. And of course, this greater length of time can and should be used to actually write something decent.
sanahtlig
Hasn't Softhouse-Seal made a business out of just shoveling short nukige out the door every few months? The strategy seems to work for them, although I'd guess even their games are a tier above the Sakura series. I'm skeptical Winged Cloud could improve with current staff. Writers (or rather, people told to write who aren't writers) don't get better simply because you tell them to.

The strategy seems to work for them, although I'd guess even their games are a tier above the Sakura series. Comparing the titles, Softhouse-seal at least has voice acting and more CGs and I'm going to guess the writing during the h-scenes is better and more catered to their audience. Sakura Swim Club is not a nukige in my book as 80% of the CGs aren't porn and the h-scenes themselves are super short. So yes, while shoveling titles out the door can work if you have the budget to make something decent in that amount of time, that clearly is not the case for Winged Cloud, so I think they'd really benefit from changing strategies. This is just a guess but I think the reason they're so desperate to shove titles out the door is because of their patreon support. If they stop producing content for too long, that could potentially mean losing the supporters who make up their monthly paycheck, and that might be a risk they're not willing to take. Although I would assume their Steam sales are enough to make a decently large title, but I'm not Winged Cloud so I don't know how much revenue they actually gain from those. If they could provide steady updates on the big game the would make for a year~~ I don't think supporters would leave them I really wish for a change of writer here, hire someone good, and then make a big game with huge amount of CGs, good writing, and polished to the max. Then after a year, release and profit. Way more customers are happy, opinion on Winged Cloud goes up, less hate. And more steady supporters, customers, because they're gonna make some quality stuff. But for now, it's just gonna be crappy short VNs with bad writing, and pretty good artist. Imagine Winged Cloud without this artist... He's really being wasted on Sakura games. Pabloc
So, they moved on from [horrendously written, shit-tier porn without porn] to [horrendously written, shit-tier porn with very little porn]. Definitely a step in the right direction. Now if they hired a chimpanzee in place of their current """writer""" and increased the amount of porn about 10x, they would have a chance to produce something on a level of thrashy, mass-produced SofthouseSeal nukiges. sanahtlig
So I discovered the Achilles Heal that will prevent the Sakura series ero revolution from taking Steam by storm. How do i instal the uncensor patch Narcosis
Mr Poltroon
Since I'm anti-fun... This is probably for the best, as if you can't even spell "install" right in your topic title, you're probably not cognitively developed enough to consent to pornography viewing. There are a plethora of reasons for a person to be unable to or not bother to spell "install" properly beyond lack of cognitive development. Not the least of which is lacking proficiency in the language, or having one of many medical problems which affect cognitive functions or even impede a person from detecting slight mistakes when writing or reading. Should the right to pornography be denied to the damned souls? Silvz
Maxel
How do i instal the uncensor patch Steam users are too stupid to figure out how to install patches without the Steam autopatcher to do it for them. Kids want them naked titas brah! It doesn't surprise me at all that most of Sakura Swim owners are 13-17 yrs old, which are rating this game positive on Steam. Just guessing there. sanahtlig
I don't get this extracting file stuff. Can anybody help? http://steamcommunity.com/app/402180/discussions/0/523897277911497159/?tscn=1442290743 Winged Cloud appears to have greatly overestimated its audience. ...I'm half inclined to write a step-by-step guide for downloading and installing the patch for dummies. I'm morbidly curious how many hits it would get.

sanahtlig
Sakura Spirit developer Winged Cloud has unleashed their first full-blown erogame on Steam, Sakura Swim Club. The only problem is that the porn has to be patched in and--this being Steam--many users never learned how to patch games manually. sanahtlig
I took the opportunity to make a public service announcement about School Days and Shiny Days. sanahtlig
I created a thread on the Steam forums with all the necessary resources to get porn into the game. I spent hours of my own time writing a guide for them--a guide that Winged Cloud should have written, but didn't. I did both Winged Cloud and their fanbase a favor. If their fans don't want to read my guide, then they're free to figure it out themselves!
